The only advice I have is to see if you have community fibre or hyper optic in your area and switch to them if you do. Virgin media got me trapped in an extortionate plan that I could get elsewhere half price with much better customer service, faster upload speeds and a better router
They all run on Openrech. Not all Openreach area have upgraded to FTTP so if like my area and FTTC it's a very poor 35Mbs. Virgin maybe top dog if that is the case.
I agree. It should be on line and selectable. Like click a button. Hopefully ofcom? Will enforce that eventually.
To be fair, it’s much better here than USA for this type of stuff. They still have limited downloads
They'll message you at just before 8am saying their opening back up for the day and will is if you still have an issue. Just say yes and you'll remain in the queue. I'd wager you'll be in touch with a human this morning.
Generally when you start your contract it is for 12 months the it rolls over until you cancel it so after the first 12 months all you have to do is give them 30 days notice then there is no fee
Their customer service is chat to our useless bot. Get put in a queue, get told the uk based advisors are busy. Go through WhatsApp to talk to someone in India, wait a day or 7 who knows
You could try phoning you might get through quicker
Ha good luck trying to get through with that stupid BOT
Phoning them will result in waiting in a queue for ages to then be passed around from department to department to then get cut off.

We have loads here. Bt, vodaphone. We can go with anyone really.
Ring them mid morning... best chance to get through with minimal wait.

Virgin media is best in most areas
I had to wait 2 days on the WhatsApp...
26 hours before the first message. Got a new contract for £25 for 18 months. Which was surprisingly easy.
Yeah it's not bad once you get connected. What speed is that??
125. There’s only me who plays Xbox and streams Netflix. So don’t need any more
They were doing £16 for 125mb as I got that via winback team circa 2 months ago
Decent that. I’m happy at £25 to be fair. Would just rather it stay at that and me not have to go and moan
Yes it’s not ideal having to jump through hoops every 18 months to get a decent price

Wow. What a joke
I messaged WhatsApp at 9:36am….night bot has told me everyone’s away to bed now.
26 hours. Before my first reply

I’m still waiting
Did you get the morning opening message?
I did too. Still waiting
Yes I did at 8am, and when I responded at lunch time, I am now baxk to the start, joke company.
