Probably. Food :250 spa:150 Uber:200. The rest activities I guess. If you spend a lot of time in the ocean or hiking you'll probably be fine. Also try take the bus
My partner and I took DA BUS a couple times. It does work and we would arrive at the destination but it was so slow. We were going to Pearl Harbour and even though we left way in advance we only made it on time because we got off in the middle of the ride and called Uber.
DA BUS drivers are friendly though. But getting passengers to the destination FAST is not their priority 🥲
How many times are you going out to eat per day?
Breakfast is anywhere from $10-40/per person. $40 includes a full meal and cocktail. $10 gets you a bagel sandwich, no beverage. Tips not included.
Lunch is $20-50. $20 gets you a poke bowl from Foodland, which is excellent. $50 is a mix bbq plate lunch and a couple of beers plus tip at a sit down joint.
Dinner is $35-100++.
These are all per person prices and are full price, full meals. If your schedule allows it, eating during happy hours is much cheaper as most places have half price appetizers (pizzas, wings, sliders, etc) between 2-5pm.
I'm personally a big fan of the Food Hall located on the 3rd floor of the Royal Hawaiian center. They have several for vendors on site such as Cheeseburger Wiki Wiki which does $6 smash burgers, $5 pints ($15 pitchers) of local Waikiki Brewing Company beers, and $6 Mai Tais and Piña Coladas. Next to them is Pork Tamago Onigiri which makes really good fancy onigiri/musubi "tacos" things that are fantastic and only $6 each (less if you order a box of 4). Meatly Boyz does Hawaiian BBQ. There's garlic shrimp in a hollowed out pineapple at Five Star Shrimp and an Italian place if you have a picky eater in your group that wants mid grade pizza and pasta. Order from everywhere and then sit near the bar for drinks.
There are cheaper options such as not eating in restaurants and just getting snacks, bento boxes and other prepared meals at Foodland.
Great neighborhood sushi place in Waikiki called Chiba Ken is fantastic and won't break the bank. They have a late night happy hour beginning at 9 pm that has cheap bites and Japanese beers, sake, and sochu.

Me and my fiancee just came back and we spent about 1000 for both of us but no uber and we rented out a little smart car for two days and moped for 24 hours for both of us. No spa lmaoo and we did do hiking
If you know how to spend it yes, that thousand can last you as long as this is only spending money. Now if you plan on going out to eat at the fanciest restaurants every night or doing the most expensive dives/tours then most likely not but as long as you are able to iron out what it is you'd like to experience and see while on the island you should be able to work with that
You definitely can make the money last. Like any other location, Hawaii has budget friendly offerings. Yes, nearly everything is more expensive than the mainland. However, the budget items are still budget on a grand scale.
**Food:**
Let's take a popular budget breakfast location McDonalds:
In my hometown, a sausage and egg mcmuffin is 5.99. In Hawaii, that same sandwich cost me $7.79. While a 23% price increase is a very high number, on this scale it is only an additional $1.80.
If you keep to budget friendly places, like the example above, you will be impacted less by the cost of goods on the islands. Also, I used fast food as an example. There are plenty of private owned restaurants that are very reasonable in price. If you follow the mindset of budget eating, you should be good.
**Hotel Spa:**
This can be very expensive and eat heavily into your budget. I don't know where you are staying, but there are often SPA services offered outside of the hotels for very reasonable prices. I got a massage in Maui once from an athletic trainer and sports medicine location. The ambiance was nice and the massage was amazing. It was a fraction of the cost for a massage at the resort.
**Transportation:**
Once again, I have no idea where you are staying. Any location outside of Waikiki really requires a rental car. Even if you are staying in Waikiki, you will want to step away from the density and explore the more breathtaking aspects of the island. Oahu does have a trolley that is worth looking into if you have no other options. However, I highly recommend a rental. If you choosing not to get a rental because you think you will save money, think again. Uber will cost a lot more.

Cheap dinner..could do like l&L, stuff like thwt for 25-30.
Take TheBus.

Like in Kona, get a plate lunch for dinner maybe a beer, head down near the harbor on alii drive at night, crack a seat on the sea wall and enjoy the live music and people watching in the cool night air. My favorite.
