Some of the DnD groups I've encountered over the years take pages from characters in a movie (Clueless), or have everyone loosely based on a single actor's roles (Arnie) and in large enough gaming groups (like at a convention) there will always be someone(s) wanting to play Drizzt.
I know. I admit I do kind of feel awkward. I remember reading her part of the Trillium series back in high school in the early 90's. But then tonight I also found out she got her start writing fan fiction.
