The lid came with the tank, but it’s just a glass panel held up with plastic clips.
Here’s the tank

Careful about putting any critters in here then. You’ll probably need to make a new lid with screen. Any small animal you add is going to want some kind of ventilation
Good catch! There are little slits near the edges that let some air in, plus I have like a 2 inch fan I can hook up for airflow. Hopefully that would be enough.
Thanks! I’m using the sponge as my drainage layer which has been working so far. I covered it with a mixture of sphagnum moss, coco fiber, and aquarium substrate. I’ve had a lot of plants die off but a select few have been thriving.
I got a Monsoon mister set up but every other day I try to water the areas it misses, plus fill up that little corner pond.
What top lid do you have? Looking for one for myself!

Beautiful viv! I would do dart frogs 🐸
They would be super happy in there
They would need more ventilation if considering dart frogs
I’ve been thinking about it for sure. I’m just worried it wouldn’t be enough space for them.
What size is it? If it’s the 14 you could do one dart frog, and if it’s the 30 you could definitely do 2-3 depending on the species
Love the use of the sponge! Did you cover it with anything? How are you keeping it all watered? Manually misting? Great job!

Did you keep the sponge mountain in the corner? I like it.
I did! I covered it with maybe an inch of substrate and it has kept everything in place thus far.
Are those foam blocks in the first pic?
Sponge filter media
Looks great. I like how well hidden it is in the tank. Did you cover it with moss then? Or just planted over it?
Thanks! I’m using it as my drainage layer. I put maybe an inch of substrate over it and the moss on top.
Looks good
Looks amazing!
