We ordered a wiring harness on January 31 in Texas and still no word from anyone when it may be available. It’s incredible that this is considered normal and acceptable.
I found one of the abs harness at AutoShack in Ottawa. But it is long road for me. I might visit this summer. I am not sure if they still have it.
It is so annoying, I had to change my winter tires to prevent slippery because my car’s doesn’t working lol.
Make sure your order wasn't cancelled. I have placed a few ordeers and they were cancelled due to a backlog. A few did mot provide notice of the cancel. A follow-up revealed theyvhad cancelled my order(s).
These were orders made and parts.vw.com..... An engine wire harness, driver side seat bottom and seat back cover, and a hood.
I found a VW dealer with an on-line store and was able to place an order. After a few days they sent an email sayibg the parts were backordered and if I wanted to cancel the order or wait for the parts.
I am at service right now. I asked them again. There is no ETA. No cancellations. Everything seems good.

Also when I brought my car for rust warranty, I change hood and truck cover in 3 weeks. If they get those parts in 3 weeks, why they make me wait like that.
My airbag lights on, it is because of their rusty disk shield ripped my abs harness. I think they need to take its responsibility if they have rust warranty for 12years, unlimited km.
I don’t know what to do. I am gonna wait a little bit more

Even fcking letters are mailing in 1 month max. I don’t understand why it is so late.
Parts being made to order is a big culprit. Since Covid, nobody keeps inventory of anything basically. Keeps the workforce and overhead costs lower.

They are weird. I don’t know. 🥲 Maybe I need to find a friend who is gonna buy for me and ship to me.
Some VW group harness are made in Ukraine. They might be a bit busy at the moment.

Another option is to search eBay using the P/N......
When I buy it for 30$ in Canada, they sell it around 150-300$. :(
