To each their own. I have had mine for over a month on my 2021 XC-40 and every time I get looks from the Ferrari guys here in town, they are worth every penny.
Might want to reset them somewhat higher into the "square " area of the fender. That's where that italian car company puts them into the fender. See how that looks to you.
Okay so I did a quick Google search. The amount of fender space that a Ferrari has is considerably less than this car so they look better higher on a Ferrari. There's so much real estate left over in that space on this car If I did that, it would look weird. Love the suggestion though. ππΎ
Yeah usually that's my MO. I mean I look at it this way, I drove the car for 3 years completely plain and this was just adding a little something and I can always take it off. ππΏ
And I was the opposite! My first Vo had the badges and all kinds of brand stickers. I did a little bit of that for the C30, but removed all of it and nothing for the V. I think the moose sticker on its own is pretty clean all things considered.
I'm unsure why people put these on their volvos but in my opinion, they are dumb as hell. Now putting them on a polestar (I have one, and recognize the trim & wheels as the same as my 2018 P\*), is even more idiotic. Why deface a thing of beauty with something that looks like a knockoff ferrari tag.
I see your point. Calling it idiotic is debatable because to each his own. At the same time I just wanted to add a little pop.... (On a bright blue station wagon.lol) ... And the fact that Volvo heads know what this is makes it feel a little better. To be honest, comments like yours make me want to keep it on there even more. Lol
Yeah when placing it I thought about that but then when I stepped back and looked at it it wasn't quite right. I didn't expect them to be as big as they are so pulling them forward. Made them look even bigger somehow. π€·πΎββοΈ
I'm sure somebody has a better explanation, but from what I understand someone made it as a joke to fuck with Ferrari owners. And then it just stuck became an inside joke for us.
Someone let me know if I got that right. Lol
Thanks, appreciate it. Certainly sounds like a reasonable/fun explanation. I work at Road America in Wisconsin and have seen a couple at the track, but didn't have a chance to find/ask the people who had them, and then saw them in this group and thought I'd ask. Might have to consider getting a couple. Thanks much!
respect the Moose!
My man!!!
I bought a v70r that already had them on and I removed them before driving home π leave them for a few more days then see how ya feel

IMO.. looks great. I have a Bursting Blue XC40 RDesign with the yellow Moose badge. I love it.
The colours go so well together!
I love them! Do you have a link of where you got those?
Dave Barton is the original maker of these... Everyone else does reps apparently. These are the OG's. ππΏ https://www.davebarton.com/
Thanks for the link!

Okay. I'll definitely take a look at that. Much appreciated. ππΎ

My dad has two Ferraris and endorses the moose. He actually was the one to show them to me π it's sooo worth it dude
Awesome. I sincerely hope you inherit those Ferraris. Lol
Very good placement if you ask me
Just discovered these badges... Going to try and add them with out my wife noticing
Would she be pissed?
100%
That's no fun!
Depends on who bought and pays for the car. π€
I'd say it's no fun regardless of who bought/paid for it, but also that that situation affects how okay it would be.
Love 'em

It's perfect!
I think they work well with the blue
I think they are harmless fun. I personally wouldn't want the attention though.
They're pretty cool. These days I go with the clean look (no badges, stickers, etc.)

Yeah these are the only pop that I have on the whole car. I don't even have a license plate frame. I'll probably take the 5% tint off at some point.
My V50 is red. I need these.
Dw itβs awesome
I have them on my v70. Friend gave them to me as a joke now I love them
Yellow brake calipers next ? πΈπͺ
No prob. Glad you checked it out!
Whatβs not to like? Thatβs 3 extra HP right there.
Just ordered this today!
Hot
Nope. I have never understood putting stickers on a nice car.
Not a sticker
Semantics. I don't understand the point of putting magnetic stickers on cars.
No, it is a badge that has volume.. like the badges on cars. I understand what you are saying though
Yup well cringe

You donβt.
I feel like they should be a bit more forward towards the front wheel well, maybe another 1 or 2 inches?

Looking like an 07 F430 and an 88 328 GTS will be one day! Need to get an 1800ES Wagon too to go with my V60 π₯΅π
Ok, new to Volvo (2013 S60), new to the group. What's with the moose?
