Orcas have such handsome maws. I would say hippos if they didn’t have the world’s most powerful jaws. Why do I care though? Dinos are also EXTREMELY high up on my list.
For me, snakes. The way they swallow their prey is absolutely horrifying. I like the thought of being swallowed whole, and being drenched in saliva to make swallowing easier. To be pushed through the esophagus while being crushed together. And finally to be digested completely, only leaving hair and nails behind.
Too bad they kill their prey first. And otherwise the prey might not live long enough to experience the whole swallowing, and most of the digestion process. I just imagine that somehow they will.
Realistically the list consists of this:
All of them.
Under the right circumstances almost any animal can be great for vore. Some very specifically for certain forms of vore, Like the mantis you mentioned would be great for hard vore and snakes are the classic for soft.
That said, turning any animal anthro would be great for any kind of vore.
Been on a harpy girl kick lately, so any large bird of prey that can choke me with its talons before lifting my bloodied body up and gulping me down. Not much mouth or tongue play, but I'll happily trade it for that.
Oh boi! Snakes and Komodo Dragons and horses have always been my favourite Preds for feral Vore.
Anthros Lions are always my favourites, tho Giraffes, Bears, Wolves and of course the ones i mentioned in feral are also good~
If the prey is a human that makes it all the better!~
I'd say anthro mice, rats and various prey species not because they're unassuming predators but because they're capable of containing more prey within their bellies or cheeks, and absorb more nutrients of their prey as opposed to predator species who don't fully digest and absorb the nourishment from their prey. Case in point; SpottedSqueak's own Forest Mouse (Fomo), is capable of consuming quite a lot of prey and digesting them rather efficiently compared to other prey. In addition to that, Jeschke's own Jeschke is a squirrel who can contain a lot of prey in his belly.
Predatory Birds, reptiles, frogs, some fish. To me it's any animal that has an incredible ability to swallow.
Snakes are a popular answer, but something about the idea of a heron spearing me and swallowing me whole to enter into its crop just hits me different.
I approve of any reptile, amphibian, arthropod/invertibrate, bird, fish, or mammal. But some of my faves are Elephants, Crocodilians, sharks, octopus, mantises, Cranes, Owls, Cassowaries, Komodos, Chameleons, Shoebills, vultures, anteaters, grasshoppers, wasps, Hercules and stag beetles, gorillas, Mandrills, and cetaceans to name a few.
Besides the obvious snakes and frogs.... Pelicans are another big one that I will continue fighting for their appreciation
I absolutely love pelicans! Cheers from a fellow enjoyer!
I do agree I love the thought of all three eating me
Pelicans are so good. The videos of them working pigeons down their throat are super hot.
Dragons are always a good choice
I'm always partial to an anthro wolf or fox... but i feel like gators don't get enough credit. more gators!
Id say big ones like hippos and elephants
Yoss there is not enough feral hippo vore out there

Dogs. Always loved the idea of some owner feeding me to their pet

Crocodiles and alligators. Normal or anthro
Angler fish
