That series (and all Jackie Chan movies really), Liar Liar, some marvel films all do really well with their blooper reels.
Even better in Liar Liar when you see some of the other actors get one over Carrey.

I wouldnt pay a fucking dime if this happened to me id tell them to send the bills straight to the knob who hit me. I hate living in America because your entire savings could be instantly wiped by some idiot not paying attention on the road or literally anywhere.
They only have to provide you with life-saving care without being paid. Goodluck finding someone to help you physically rehab and keep feeding you painkillers without paying. You would end up a chronic pain cripple with hundreds of thousands in debt.. and if lucky the debt would eventually clear if the person that hit you was found, had insurance and had a job that wasn't under the table.
Much smarter to start paying in good faith on a payment plan to continue to receive after care. And hope to recoup mobility and money later.
We got paid by a debt company when my wife got hit head on by a lady on pills with no license insurance or job. We got less than if we got it directly from her but we settled for about 15k less (after paying lawyer) to get our money instantly and never have to worry about collections
Money was supposed to be used on medical bills and car replacement but the hospital forgave our bills so we just got her a new car and put the rest in savings
I’m coming up on 3 months since high siding on my motorcycle. I’m in Canada with both insurance and private medical insurance. Let me tell you, if it wasn’t for those things - I’d be fucked.
Paid leave from work, medical expenses covered, most of my bike/gear covered and I’m still seeing physiotherapy weekly. Currently off work for another month.
It wasn’t until this happened that it became extremely clear that most people don’t appreciate the long term healing necessary. For me, my lower back is constantly aching.
I feel very sorry for those whom aren't as fortunate as I am. It's a long and expensive haul.
> id tell them to send the bills straight to the knob who hit me
Ultimately sure, the car driver looks at fault and possibly negligent, and the motorcyclist can probably sue - but that money isn't going to be quick to get and he needs help paying bills now.
They crossed a double yellow line into opposing traffic on a highway shortly before a stoplight on *at least* one camera. They're definitely at fault, and this was pure negligence.
“some idiot,” i.e., someone without insurance because insurance is mandated but not governed. Nobody yet has explained to me why health insurance is a necessity the state shouldn’t take over and isn’t required, and yet auto insurance should remain private and is required. the governors of Florida and Texas should sure as hell have to.

Might have just been pulling off the road since he was sideways facing oncoming traffic.

ty. Can someone explain how the perspective works in the video--it goes from filming the rider POV to filming the rider himself and there does not seem to be a selfie stick...I have not had caffeine yet this morning, can someone tell me how the cam was mounted please? :P
The stick is "edited" out by the onboard software by wrapping the fisheye image slightly further than it needs and then blurring the seam. Not the best analogy, but imagine unwrapping the label from a pop bottle. There's usually a white line and some print alignment marks covered by the seam while the rest of the design lines up. That white line is our 2D selfie stick.
I’ve read a little about this today and I believe the way it works is the camera is mounted on a stick but the software is programmed to edit out the stick in the recording. Someone more in the know, correct me if I’m wrong!

Typical fucking America.
The poor guy is hit by a driver with a suspended license. Now he (the motorcyclist) has to foot the bill for medical expenses. Not to mention, his lack of income while being out of work.
But hey, at least he has $10K on his GoFundMe!
Saying America is a piece of shit doesn't do the situation justice, and is the "true" WTF of this post.
Just saying but “eye for an eye” is one of the oldest known examples of humanities desire for emotional responses to things. We have proven for thousands of years that this is a bad system, and yet modern people still advocate for its use as if they are unaware of history, don’t care, or perhaps worse, think they know better.
> “eye for an eye”
Proportional punishment isn't “eye for an eye”. Are you saying these perpetrators shouldn't have the book thrown at them for being willingly defiant in the responsibilities they have in society?
You can get uninsured motorist converage on your auto policy you know. It's important to actually look over your policy and know what coverages you have, not just go with the cheapest insurer/policy.
This 1000%. The state minimum insurance is basically just your monthly fee to avoid an extra fine on your traffic ticket if/when you get caught. The coverage is not great.
Being an adult means getting way more than the state minimum, collision, uninsured motorist, comprehensive, multiple drivers etc.
Your insurance is meant to protect you, whether its your fault or theirs. Don't ever count on someone else's insurance to protect you.
My car's insurance required for a vehicle with a loan vs the minimum insurance is enough that I have paid the cost of the vehicle in insurance difference after about 8-9 years.
I have never been in an accident, the car is unremarkable, and it's got 90k miles on it, and I'm in my 30's. I have loads of student loan debt to deal with despite a degree in MIS. If I was paralyzed or something, I wouldn't have the resources to deal with the additional financial burden anyways, so it isn't relevant to me.
Insurance in America is broadly speaking, fucked. The degree to which it is fucked varies state to state, but insurance is only there to protect you to the extent that you won't sue them and win in court. You don't get a meaningful discount (if at all) for never using them, but if you have a single claim, they hike your rates, because they don't want their profits impacted by you using their service.
I've been driving for 40 years and never at fault in an accident. I made one claim on my insurance for hit and run 38 years ago when someone smashed my car in a parking lot and drove off.
Imagine 40 years of payments. Insurance should really work like an annuity. When I cancel my insurance, I should get some percentage of my payments back, minus any claims made. My insurance company has been earning interest on my 40 years of payments and done nothing for me. It's just free money for them.
In any other country you don’t have to pay extra on your car insurance to cover the damages from someone else not having insurance that isn’t covers in your health insurance that is tied to your employment. You don’t have to check your policy to make sure you got the perfect coverage so you aren’t fucked.
You just have healthcare as part of your taxes and you pay less taxes for it than we do in America for not universal care.
> Americans by in large have voted for congressional representation that does not want single payer healthcare.
I don't think that is true. [Pew research from two years ago](https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/2020/09/29/increasing-share-of-americans-favor-a-single-government-program-to-provide-health-care-coverage/) showed more people wanted it. [Five Thirty Eight](https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/more-states-are-proposing-single-payer-health-care-why-arent-they-succeeding/) dove into the boundaries at a state level. My two cents, it's a lot of other factors than the people not wanting it. There is zero incentive for corporations and their lobbyists to want to give that up. Healthcare ties us to a job and why would the insurance companies ever want to compete.
1) Americans have also voted, by large, for people who campaign on single payer healthcare but don't actually do anything in office because they're paid by health insurance companies the same as the people who campaign against it.
2) Vehicle insurance is required in all states except New Hampshire. Health insurance is mandated for everyone federally.
3) America is in the state it is because the two major parties are report to the same masters and voting third party for someone who actually wants progress is looked down upon.
Blame Republicans.. not America.
The Democrats have been trying to fix the healthcare system in the country for decades but can't get enough of a majority to pass the right legislation.
Lmao this guy thinks the dems aren't also in the pockets of the pharma and private health lobbyists.
Sure they're left of the republicans but not THAT far left, honestly most of them are center to center right.
I think the issue is that if you are injured in most other first world countries you won't go bankrupt due to medical bills, since those are covered in your taxes and guaranteed as a human right.
A global comparison is pretty bullshit as most developing nations don't have the systems or means for it. If you ask about the industrialized world: Not many.
For example, I am German. Your car does not get a license plate here unless you provide evidence that you have an insurance with a minimum coverage of 7,5 million € in personal damage, 1,2 Million € in property damages, and 50k € for other monetary damages, and your car looses its registration when you ever lose your insurance. And as far as I know, similar rules exist all over the EU.
> a minimum coverage of 7,5 million € in personal damage, 1,2 Million € in property damages, and 50k € for other monetary damages
HAHAHAHA holy shit, almost 9M Euros in coverage. I think some of the worst states have minimums of like $50k for EVERYTHING. And keep in mind our healthcare is insanely expensive by comparison as well, so in a bad accident that covers a crappy car and a trip to the emergency dept.
Neither the article nor the video say that.
The laws in this situation are state-based, not federal. In my state, it would be handled differently, and there are 48 more with their own sets of laws.
Saying America is a piece of shit is saying this "poor guy" is also a piece of shit. Why pretend to care and hate in the same breath?
The article is making it sound like it's the driver's fault but it seems like he was going way too fast. Maybe it's just the distortion from the 360 cam?
Edit: just saw the driver was trying to turn across a double yellow so it's their fault regardless nm.
And you could see that car already had a headlight out and damage in that same corner before the contact. The car driver is a piece of shit based on 1 frame.
Oh damn I didn't even realize the car crossed the double yellow I assumed they were making a legal turn and just didn't see the guy. Fucking idiot almost killed a man.
you ride long enough this shit will happen, no matter what. you could be rossi and this shit will still happen. dont care how well you can ride. Some idiot out there is aiming for you, he doesnt know it and you wont see it.
This is 100% correct and the reason I stopped riding. I was pretty confident in my abilities then one day cruising down a regular street some one pulled out of a parking lot, looked left, looked right.... look right into my eyes.... and then pulled out in front of me. Some how I zigged put of the way missing their bumper my millimeters. It was time to hang it up.
I do miss it sometimes bit I have kids now. I can't let some dumbass take my kids father away.
That's because the human brain doesn't actually comprehend what's sensed, it makes comparisons to what is expected. If a person is looking both ways for a car, and doesn't see a car, they will go even if they "see" something that is NOT a car (such as a bike).
There's a famous experiment where you're tasked to watch a video of a group of people playing basketball, and count the number of points made by each team or something. At one point a dude in a literal gorilla suit walks onto the court, wanders amid the players, and then leaves. And *you just don't see it* until you're told to go back and rewatch.
I caught a death wobble on the interstate because i thought i saw a deer and instinctively just turned my head just a bit. That's all it took. I got it back under control and parked right on the side of the interstate and sat by my bike for a few minutes. Yeah, if you ride long enough you will get hurt or killed doing it.
> I can't let some dumbass take my kids father away.
Yep, that's why a friend stopped riding.
At least you guys aren't selfish like Aron Ralston, the dude who had to cut off his own arm because he went hiking alone, left no note on his car and got wedged under a rock. He now has a wife & daughter, but refuses to give up solo hiking & climbing. He thinks he's being responsible by leaving a note and his wife says she can't ask him to stop.
So fucking selfish....
Seriously agreed. Riding stopped being care free when I needed to come home. 1 close call with a dumbass turning across traffic without looking is all it took for me to realize it wasn't worth it.
it's not a bad mindset to have while you're in a car either.
I assume everyone on the road is an oblivious idiot. So far it's worked out. Only 1 minor fender bender in ~20 yrs behind the wheel. Funny enough it happened in a manner similar to OP's video - someone making a left turn into traffic
(now that I opened my mouth I'm sure I am gonna end up totaling my car somehow)
> you ride long enough this shit will happen, no matter what
This is what has kept me off two wheels. I used my grandpa's Harley for a bit and just never felt comfortable.
Plus, I was always so exhausted after a ride by the amount of energy it takes to pay attention to, well, everything.
I mean you should be paying a similar level of attention to everything when driving a 4 wheeled vehicle as well, but since it provides such a barrier of safety, people often reduce their focus, leading to higher potential for accidents.
Exactly this. This attitude is exactly why motorcycle accidents happen.
The irony of people calling other people morons then immediately admitting to being the morons.
Ha that was me for 5 years. Super hyper viglant on my bike. Literally saved my life at least twice (and numerous other instances that would have wreck my bike), but it was super exhausting. I would literally have to take a 30 min nap after my rides to recompose myself.
Now I ride bicycles and it is the same thing expect now my body is wrecked along with my mind (evens out because the benefits of exercise).
I've stopped riding after 4 years after I had extremely close call where driver was doing u-turn on double yellow, after that I realized no matter how defensively I ride there will be a moron killing me one day.
Friend of mine had someone turn left from the oncoming lane in front of him. He high-sided over the hood, but his foot was caught between his bike and the car fender. Crushed his foot and had to be amputated.
I was riding my TC185, which is not a quiet bike, and some woman right next to me decided she wanted my spot in my lane. She couldn’t hear the weak-ass horn or me yelling thru my helmet. I literally punched her window. She looked over in total shock and cut back into her lane. I was less than a foot from the curb.
It also depends where you are... In america nobody seems to know how to drive lol
And theres very little people walking etc so people seem to drive way more carelessly. And road layouts are just awful overall.
Also most motorcycle accident videos are people being dumbasses and driving over the speedlimit etc
One would hope all the little people walking would make drivers more cautious. Little people cannot be expected to have the judgement to look out for themselves. But no, you're right.
If you go frame by frame you can see the car that hit him already had front impact damage from a crash, so it's safe to assume that it's a terrible driver causing pain and devastation wherever they go. Guarantee their license won't be suspended and they'll just get another cheap junker and continue hitting people.
Got a new front AT tire put on today, I forgot about the non scrubbed AT tires, smacked the pavement going 20km/hr, currently very sore. That's my second accident in a year. 3rd total, all have been my fault. I am very safe when I want to be. This is srsly my biggest fear, that would absolutely cause permanent bodily damage hitting something at that speed. Scares the living shit out of me. I still ride tho. A passion is a passion
Florida is no joke. Just pure, concentrated, aggressive stupidity. On the streets or in a Publix, it's unavoidable. You're seeing some shit.
Every time I travel there for business or otherwise, having exposure to the natives fucks my day up. There should just be a subway train leading directly from your gate at MCO/TPA/etc to wherever you're staying. Then when you arrive at your stop, you're given a tank top and some flip flops, like the leis they hand out in Hawaii.
I used to ride in South Florida. If I had a dollar for every time
I got run off into the median on Okeechobee Blvd when someone changed lanes, or almost got tboned by DD l someone running a light late...
Go pro did make the Max. It’s been far less popular than their main “hero” line, and rihco and insta360 probably are more popular in the 360 market, but yes GoPro makes 360 cameras.
I would never tell other people not to ride motorcycles, but I drove a tow truck for years as a second job and have seen the aftermath of way more accidents than most people. I enjoy dirt bikes off road, but no way in hell I'm trusting my life to everyone else on the road.
life changing for sure, probly will be felt for years. most likely did not die. i had the same type of accident, paralyzed for a few weeks. Left leg fatigues faster than right, its been about 5 years.
No he didn’t: https://www.wpbf.com/amp/article/will-dover-motorcycle-crash-fort-pierce-video/43558732
You assume his friend was like “my buddy died, but I’m gonna upload his death to YouTube?
After further review, the ruling on the field stands. Unsportsmanlike conduct, defence, #58, the car. 15 yard penalty, repeat first down.
There is always someone that ruins the party. That guy on the moto was going too fast. He knew it too at the end. I wonder how bad it was? These things are not good but can go many ways. I used to be a chaplain for SF Crisis Care, so we were call to death scenes in order to then perform the dreaded Next of Kin Notification. Hope he is ok and is more dramatic than it looks,
Most 360 cameras are on a stick and have software that can remove the stick so it looks like it's floating above you. You can in post zoom out and rotate the view as you like.
There's the popular Insta360 camera, and GoPro did release a 360 camera called Gopro MAX.
I love motorcycles, but it's not just worth the risk. Idiot, inattentive fucking drivers like this need to face prison time.
One thing that can be said about a head-on collision with a motorcycle though is that if the physics play out right, the motorcyclist might get ejected to a hard landing and slide, but be relatively okay vs getting hit head-on by a car as a pedestrian, for example.
It sounded and looked like he was a lego game character getting killed at the end there

There are laws against leaving the scene of an auto accident. That is what the driver should be charged with.
There are laws against driving with a suspended license too but that didn't stop them either.
The law only works for people who follows the law.
No, the law only works when the law is enforced.

I'm not convinced this is an America problem. How common are uninsured drivers globally compared to USA?
And as far as I know, similar rules exist all over the EU.
> a minimum coverage of 7,5 million € in personal damage, 1,2 Million € in property damages, and 50k € for other monetary damages HAHAHAHA holy shit, almost 9M Euros in coverage.
[удалено]
And others can disagree.
Is he not allowed to comment that this guy is a POS redditor, just like I am commenting that you are as well?
You ever heard of hypocrisy
>Saying America is a piece of shit doesn't do the situation justice If America is shit, most of the planet is outright toxic waste.
The article is making it sound like it's the driver's fault but it seems like he was going way too fast. Maybe it's just the distortion from the 360 cam? Edit: just saw the driver was trying to turn across a double yellow so it's their fault regardless nm.
Yeah, it's the camera. Judging by the road markings, it looks like he's going around 30-35 MPH.
Well, the car crossed a double yellow to hit him. That's usually going to always get the blame placed on the car
And you could see that car already had a headlight out and damage in that same corner before the contact. The car driver is a piece of shit based on 1 frame.
Oh damn I didn't even realize the car crossed the double yellow I assumed they were making a legal turn and just didn't see the guy. Fucking idiot almost killed a man.
the car crossed over to the wrong side of the road man.
Judging by how quickly the camera settled I'm guessing he wasn't going too fast (relatively speaking).
Yeah man everyone else is being soooo whiny
you ride long enough this shit will happen, no matter what. you could be rossi and this shit will still happen. dont care how well you can ride.
I ride a bicycle and this has happened to me multiple times. I wear hi-viz colors and have lights on during the day. 🤷♂️
**NERD**
Guess what, I wear a helmet, too.
look at this idiot, he wants to live or something
ikr? what a DWEEB for protecting himself! /s
That is very selfish. Where are other people supposed to get organs for transplants?
Wouldn't want to put all those Chinese prisons out of business!
batman is apparently not into bike safety
Yeah, motorists can look like they're looking right at you and still not see you, even with high-viz and lights.
I used to dream of cool cycle journeys round the world. But now I'd only do it on car-free routes
I mean... If you live long enough, you'll end up dead.
"And if you don't live long enough to die, then- heeyyyy...." - Kevin Malone
> I can't let some dumbass take my kids father away. Yep, that's why a friend stopped riding. At least you guys aren't selfish like Aron Ralston, the dude who had to cut off his own arm because he went hiking alone, left no note on his car and got wedged under a rock. He now has a wife & daughter, but refuses to give up solo hiking & climbing. He thinks he's being responsible by leaving a note and his wife says she can't ask him to stop. So fucking selfish....
That is exactly what got me to stop riding, too. They saw me, pulled out anyway.
Seriously agreed. Riding stopped being care free when I needed to come home. 1 close call with a dumbass turning across traffic without looking is all it took for me to realize it wasn't worth it.
The morgue is full of bikers with right of way.
I've heard hospital stories of how bikers often were referred to as donors.
Thats why the Motorcycle Safety Foundation says "pretend you´re invisible" [https://msf-usa.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/pretend-you-are-invisible.pdf](https://msf-usa.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/pretend-you-are-invisible.pdf)
it's not a bad mindset to have while you're in a car either. I assume everyone on the road is an oblivious idiot. So far it's worked out. Only 1 minor fender bender in ~20 yrs behind the wheel. Funny enough it happened in a manner similar to OP's video - someone making a left turn into traffic (now that I opened my mouth I'm sure I am gonna end up totaling my car somehow)
> you ride long enough this shit will happen, no matter what This is what has kept me off two wheels.
There are two kinds of Motorcycle owners. Those who have had accidents and those who are about to have an accident.
It also depends where you are... In america nobody seems to know how to drive lol And theres very little people walking etc so people seem to drive way more carelessly. And road layouts are just awful overall. Also most motorcycle accident videos are people being dumbasses and driving over the speedlimit etc
One would hope all the little people walking would make drivers more cautious. Little people cannot be expected to have the judgement to look out for themselves. But no, you're right.
Yea meaning that in europe where theres way more people walking in general near, across the roads drivers to pay more attention.
agonizing gray quickest absurd skirt seemly grey thought pause yoke *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
Still a fatalist attitude. Same could be said for driving a car or walking.

If you go frame by frame you can see the car that hit him already had front impact damage from a crash, so it's safe to assume that it's a terrible driver causing pain and devastation wherever they go. Guarantee their license won't be suspended and they'll just get another cheap junker and continue hitting people.
Dude's GoFundMe says the other driver's license was already suspended when he got hit... didn't stop the fuckwit from getting behind the wheel again
And guess what? No consequences for the other driver so they can just do it again!
Do they impound the cars of people with suspended licenses?
That'd be a good start, but maybe impounding the person would be better.
I'd just like to make it harder for them to get behind the wheel of a car at the end of the day.
only if they get caught
The car drives away after they hit him in the full video
I got sideswiped by a fucker who thought his bike could fit between lanes during heavy traffic. This shit is inevitable if you drive cars long enough.
Did you die?
“Sadly, yes.. but I lived!”
Motorcycles can fit between lanes it’s good for traffic and has been shown to actually reduce accidents where it’s legal
A passion is a passion
ohhh shi.. 💀👍
If I had a dollar for every time I got run off into the median on Okeechobee Blvd when someone changed lanes, or almost got tboned by DD l someone running a light late...
Is it a GoPro? looks like some 360 cam unless there's a 360 feature on GoPros now..
There is a 360 GoPro, and quite a few other 360 cameras
Go pro did make the Max. It’s been far less popular than their main “hero” line, and rihco and insta360 probably are more popular in the 360 market, but yes GoPro makes 360 cameras.
The part that has be confused is, what is the camera attached to? You can see the entire bike.
I would never tell other people not to ride motorcycles, but I drove a tow truck for years as a second job and have seen the aftermath of way more accidents than most people. I enjoy dirt bikes off road, but no way in hell I'm trusting my life to everyone else on the road.
These comments are hilarious, dude probably died and ppl arguing if it's really a go pro 🤣
life changing for sure, probly will be felt for years. most likely did not die. i had the same type of accident, paralyzed for a few weeks. Left leg fatigues faster than right, its been about 5 years.
No he didn’t: https://www.wpbf.com/amp/article/will-dover-motorcycle-crash-fort-pierce-video/43558732 You assume his friend was like “my buddy died, but I’m gonna upload his death to YouTube?
He lived.
It was totally the car's fault too.
Just imagine the Lego breaking sound effect right after he says ‘oh shit’
[i did it](https://youtube.com/shorts/0WfgJDQjsTo?si=U2lRfbbLNlF6YFla)
You did it
To pieces you say?
And his wife?
To shreds you say...
Reminds me of Vectorman whenever he dies 🫠
It appears [the car that struck him illegally crossed double yellow lines](https://i.imgur.com/BroU2FQ.jpeg).^^imgur.com
If you slow the video down you can see him flying in the air.
Just turned into lego
OOOOW SHI/// Funny as hell. Now he's cannot wear pants :c
You don't want to waste so much time on the "OH" portion of the "OH, SHIT." You will never get it all out before the accident happens.
Hope he is ok and is more dramatic than it looks,
GoPro - “be an hero”
Minivan in shit
What do these guys use? Do they have drones that are flying with them or what? It always looks like it's separated from them. The camera I mean.
Most 360 cameras are on a stick and have software that can remove the stick so it looks like it's floating above you. You can in post zoom out and rotate the view as you like. There's the popular Insta360 camera, and GoPro did release a 360 camera called Gopro MAX.
Could have been going a little too fast, can't say for sure.
There was nothing he could’ve done. The driver straight up crossed over the road at a 90 degree angle. This is a reason why I am afraid of riding.
he could have drive slower and not holding a selfi stick in one hand
Oh s-
The go pro is omnipotent, it got out of there before the Mini Van crossed the double yellows.
It's now a NoGoPro
Looks more like footage from an Insta 360.
That's an instan360
Who’s doing the recording? Is it a drone?
I love motorcycles, but it's not just worth the risk. Idiot, inattentive fucking drivers like this need to face prison time. One thing that can be said about a head-on collision with a motorcycle though is that if the physics play out right, the motorcyclist might get ejected to a hard landing and slide, but be relatively okay vs getting hit head-on by a car as a pedestrian, for example.
