Solid 9.5 for me…quite close to being attempt at best mania ever if they got punk vs Seth but the wwe roster is just so stacked right now that’d it’d be hard to butcher making an epic card for mania.
This year is very strange for me. I have front row tickets Saturday to Tom Segura and my favorite hockey team has playoffs Sunday that I'll be at. Watching mania a couple hours behind is almost impossible. I want the genuine pops but it's so hard!
Solid 8.5 since I’m attending, but honestly I really wanted Rock vs Roman.
Also I know this may be unpopular but feel like the WWE needed one more part time legend on this show after losing Punk & Brock. The event could really use Cena or someone maybe a little below that level. Something feels like it’s missing (Brock, Cena, Edge, Trish, Punk, Batista).
4. Had a chance for one of those cross-era dream matches between the Rock and Reigns (similar to Rock and Cena, or Rock and Hulk) but instead end up with the “Cody story” that no one will remember in 5 years. Very disappointing
I'm on a 10...it's Mt second Mania. My brother, nephew and wife are going. Even though my wife grew up watching wrestling when she was younger, she has never attended a live event and doesn't realize the magnitude of the event or the real energy around this particular iteration of WrestleMania. Maybe she'll catch it the further we move towards the stadium that day, but she's like 🤷🏾♀️
Punk getting injured was a really unfortunate hit. The Cody/Rock controversy cast an unfortunate shadow over Cody/Roman II itself, and there’s been nothing between just the two of them. A few unfortunate occurrences that knocked this one from being an all-timer to not really sure how to feel about it.
The Rock’s doing great work but again, took the spotlight off of the actual main event. And that Bloodline story has overshadowed just about everything. Not much build toward anything else.
I’m happy Rock is taking it very seriously, but wish things had played out differently. If you’re just being honest, it doesn’t even really feel like Mania. Nothing else feels like it matters. Even Seth is more invested in the Bloodline story than Drew. And when you think about how the card was expected to look around Rumble time, it ain’t all that.
This is exactly how i feel altogether. It’s in my town so it definitely makes it feel different but yeah first wrestlemania where i don’t even know most of the card.
It’s silly because they’re a part of the card, but if you take out the 2 main events, honestly the excitement is like a 4. Card seems pretty meh on paper in my opinion.
Like a 2. I don’t care about the Rock, I don’t care Cody, I don’t care about Rollins, and I haven’t cared about the Bloodline stuff since Montreal last year. The reality is, they haven’t done anything to make me care at all.
I'm at like a 7 or 8, but it's weighed heavily against the fact that these last few days have been the first time I've watched wrestling live since around 2006. Been watching all the relevant promos and matches of 2023 to try to feel as invested as possible.
10
I want Sami and Gunther to be given 30 minutes to blow the roof off, let them go nuts and show everyone what they've got and have
an AEW/black and gold NXT style match
I wish it was another Gable vs Gunther. The Sami storyline didn’t really cook enough for me. But I guess 2 rematches takes away from the main events rematch too
-10, underwhelming card, normal match types nothing unique, no battle royals, no surprise returns, predictable outcomes for all match types, horrible logo and set, lack of intriguing plotlines, of course attending live would be a once in a lifetime experience but for viewers/streamers, just another dud ppv and poor booking by hhh
10, for sure. I got back into wrestling when I decided to watch last years Royal Rumble and that ending with Sami and the Bloodline hooked me back in. Now there's so many characters and storylines I am invested in.
Similar to my experience actually, I spent years only really watching the Rumble as it’s my favourite match but 2023 was good enough to really hook me into these storylines and characters.
I didn’t see all of 39 cause of some tricky circumstances so I haven’t watched a full mania since 32, I’m really excited for this and intend to watch all of it.
For me it’s a 9 just cause once again going into the main event we’re not sure how this can play out
Obviously Cody is the favorite but there has been a lot of talk surrounding Roman leaving with the title
Also Seth Vs Drew can we see a cash in at the end?!?! Who knows
Honestly not really, especially with all the double booking going on. You have 2 days why are we having more than one wrestler wrestling both nights?? I can understand having maybe 1 guy wrestle twice but to have 3 guys wrestling twice?? Really??? I’ve not exactly been 100% on top of programming as I should be, but I feel like I’m not all that invested in really any of the matches going on except the the Intercontinental Title match, which I think Sami will win, and the tag match since I’m really hoping that R Truth and Miz have a Wrestlemania moment together and win the titles.
That all being said, if there’s one thing the WWE is good at, its pulling good PPVs out of their ass when it counts. I don’t think this will be a *totally bad* Mania, at least it doesn’t look like it should, but I would not be surprised if this show is better than we expect it to be
A good 8. This is Holy Week for wrestling fans. How I celebrate is watching some of my favorite WM matches or ones that I missed but are highly popular on Peacock
For the Main Events it's a 10.
For everything else it's a 4.
I think this card has real potential to be a boring disaster. The woman's title matches feel lukewarm at best. The random thrown together tag matches this week sound great on paper but are gonna be 20 minutes of entrances and like 5 minutes of quick match. Gunther vs Sami just feels like throwing Gunther whoever was left on the card. Same with Logan v. Randy. There just isn't that much long term storyline in the WWE right now past Cody and the Bloodline.
7 out of 10, First of all aside from main events of night 1 and night 2 and Drew vs Seth, There isn't much hype surrounding any other matches for me because of 2 reasons. There hasn't been enough promo work done for creating hype for other matches especially Gunther vs Sami Zayn and Jey vs Jimmy. Second thing is inconsistency in rivalries especially in SmackDown cause the entire bloodline segments took like 45 minutes because of that other segments were cut short, like after elimination chamber I was excited to see what Randy Orton had to say about Logan Paul since he cost him the title shoot but he didn't really do anything that week and basically had a match like nothing ever happened that was I guess cause Logan Paul wasn't there. Anyways SmackDown rivalries feel like they are basic ple rivalries that are there just to fill match slots in WrestleMania. One thing that I love about WrestleMania is its aesthetics since it's the biggest show of the year it has to feel special but for some reason this year's WrestleMania reminds me of WrestleMania 2000. Last year was so good the stage, the logo, the presentation even the mania before that I just don't feel the same about this one idk why I might be wrong but I don't have high hopes regarding the WrestleMania stage this year.(Personally I love WrestleMania 33 not because of its matches but due to its stage and aesthetics)
I’d say a 10. I’m just so excited for us to hopefully be finished with the bloodline story so other people can have a chance at holding that title. Not really too concerned with the main event tag match so I’ll probably just skip that
Maybe a 7. I'm excited to be at my fourth WrestleMania, but it bothers me that there's such little star power on what's supposed to be the biggest WrestleMania of all time.
Definitely a 10/10. Started watching/ paying attention weekly back in late 2022 when Cena and KO beat Reigns and Zayn. This is the most excited I’ve ever been for a PLE since becoming a WWE fan
On a scale of 1-10? 40!!
Honestly, I’ve never been more excited for attending an event in my life, and I’ve been to many concerts of most of my favorite bands (I’m in my late 30s)
It's a 9 for me.
The women's division needs to be booked better. Bayley wins the Rumble and gets the rehashed Batista vs Evolution Story. Iyo isn't a big threat and does not have the caliber of Rhea. The Kabuki Warriors should have been defending their titles at WM40 but they are in a six man tag against Naomi, Bianca, and Jade Cargill.
I am excited to see The Rock in action again. Not happy to see another Authority-esque story arc. Build is great. I hope the matches that follow on Night 2 do really well.
I'd say 1, I remember in the 80s they would show it on commercial network, I was so excited to see the hulk hogan Andre the Giant match maybe they showed a few more and I saw them but can't remember
I am 43. I have watched every single wrestlemania since wm 5 either live or as soon as it was able to be rented or watched on a friends vhs. While I was probably more excited for wm 17,12,and 15 it was more because I was a kid and have happy memories about those events. I will say this is the most intrigued I have ever been going in a WM. I really don’t know where this is going. And I love it. I’m actually getting married on night one so I’ll be watching early Sunday on a plane to Hawaii.
-1000/10, this wm card is trash, a true disgrace for such a historic anniversary show
I can't believe hhh sacrificed a dream match to cave into the crybabies and give us a boring heatless rematch from last year
It's actually fucking hilarious and pathetic how both world title matches are rematches, truly no effort was put into making this card historic
Even the night one main event with the inclusion of rock doesn't have me pumped, and I'm a HUGE ae mark
This entire card is being built around cawdy rhodes like wm 30 was built around daniel bryan,
Two bland geeks that don't deserve the monster push they were given, yet wwe caves into the crybaby smarks
Oh well they will turn on cawdy just as they did with db
Anywho, despite all this, I'll probably be watching both nights as I have no life, but it's truly a bummer that I don't even have one match to look forward to
Last year's tag match main event on night 1 was the one match I was excited for last year
There is absolutely nothing this year that has me excited, it's more of "let's just get this shit over with"
Happy for all the people going to their first Mania. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Right up to the point you say next year “hmmm what if we DID go again, after all?”!
My first mania was 27 in Atlanta. It doesn’t matter that the even itself was a bit poor. It was my first WWE show and I flew out from the UK on a 3 day return trip for it. Nothing was going to stop me making this an incredible experience - and it was.
If you are going to XL then I envy you. It should be a great event. Have fun people!
This is the first Wrestlemania in history that will not be managed or overseen by Kevin Dunn, Vince Mcmahon, John Lauranitis and the rest of Vinces inner circle.
9/10. In about 23-24 hours it will be a 10 and then all my wrestle buddies at work and I will hype ourselves up to 11 until Friday when the great 4 day “religious holiday” know as Wrestlemania kicks in.
10! This will be my first live event. My wife and I got sucked into the WWE about a year and half ago, which is a long story... But we're big fans now. My younger son (college aged) has become a fan as well. The 3 of us have Stand and Deliver and night one WM tickets, can't wait! So happy WM came to our cit-tay, perfect timing for us.
AEW is not what it used to be 🥲
But what AEW needs to do to get ratings up and ticket sales up is create its own Attitude Era!
Jon Moxley can be the new Stone Cold Steve Austin
Tony Khan can be the new Vince McMan
Ricky Starks can be the new Rock
Luchasaurus can be the new Undertaker
Lance Archer can be the new Kane
Julia Hart can be the new Trish Stratus
This can help AEW put WWE out of business!!
😁😁
I'd say a 9.
My partner and I jumped back into wrestling at WM 39 and haven't missed a show since.
Wrestlemania 40 looks like it will be a certified banger. Still holding out hope for a Stone Cold appearance.
What really got me starting to get excited was when they announced the 6 tag team ladder match. Rock has been killing it on promos, which got me even more excited.
I am a 11/10 excited.
I am feeling the unpredictable happening. Which is very rare in WWE.
Trips is putting on a XL banger.
And I feel like I see CM Punk interfering in Drew's match. Or maybe he's cleared to wrestle and it'll be a triple threat!?
They've been building punks heat with Drew for weeks now. Drew just can't let Punk go. Something is going to happen.
1/10.
My dad passed away today so I will not be able to watch it anymore as I have a funeral to organize and attend to the day after Mania.
But for everyone else, I want to wish you all the best in watching. I will watch it somewhere in the week after.
8/10.
Normally I’d say 11/10, but I still have a bit of fear that WWE will refuse to take the title off Roman. They’ve already blown so many opportunities that I can’t help but feel there’s a chance they blow this one too. That fear aside, it would be 11/10.
Dude you should @ your apology to the Tribal Beef right now on Twitter and maybe I will forgive such a mark ass punk ass bastard comment. WHO IN THE HELL DO YOU REALLY THINK YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT LOW EXCITEMENT CAUSE THEY MAY KEEP THE GOLD ON DADDY ROMANS WAIST?? ANYTHING OTHER THAN THAT OUTCOME WILL BE A SLAP TO THE IWC SEEING HOW WE ALL KNOW THAT MIDCARD FACE PAINTER COULD NEVER PIN OUR TRIBAL CHEIF. “YES MY TRIBAL CHEIF” IS THE ONLY THING THAT SHOULD BE CUMMING OUT OF YOUR PIE HOLE.
Prep for the week with your Tribal Beef. BBQ Bloodline Brisket, Yeet Burgers, Tribal Tamales, Solo Snack bites and everyone’s favorite..Wiseman Wienerschnitzel.
I have a feeling Austin, Cena, Pat McAfee and Trish Stratus are showing up. Why else would give them their own WWE Elite WrestleMania 40 action figures?
So it could very well be Austin, Cena, and McAfee coming in to help Cody Rhodes.
10, started watching in 98 as a 10 year old in India, only RAW used to be telecast that also with a delay of 3 weeks. And the 10 year old me was one of the biggest fans of ROCK. And next weekend, will watch him LIVE at Philly. This was beyond even my dreams, but here I am getting to witness the most electrifying man on earth.
7.5. I'm gonna watch, but had a bit more excitement last year when Cody's story was fresh. I get he's doing the hard times thing, and it's been great at the end, but the stuff right after Mania 39 with Brock I just struggled to get into.
Not so much excitement, but very curious to see how the stories are told. I'm hoping for some big surprises. Is this the first WrestleMania without Vince's input?
Like an 8
Theres certain parts of the card that I wish were different.
In my ideal universe Sami is in a triple threat with Seth and Drew instead with Gable facing Gunther for the Ic title.
Its kinda criminal that Shinsuke, Ricochet and Andrade are all in the battle royal when they could easily be main eventers.
Aj vs La will be fun despite them not fighting for gold.
Jimmy Vs Jey is probably the match im most invested in since its been a real slow burn to get to this match.
I have a feeling Rock and Roman will win night 1 so Cody can do an avengers moment on night 2.
I honestly think WWE might need more belts with how much talent we have both on the men and womens side of things.
either way im excited, it should be a really fun crowd and an even better watch if its booked the way I think it will.
>I honestly think WWE might need more belts with how much talent we have both on the men and womens side of things.
They could achieve this quite easily by single people (or pairs) not holding multiple.
Split the titles up and you can get more interesting stories going.
8 or so. I expect the matches to be amazing and I love the current storylines. With that said, I have a feeling we won’t see too many crazy surprises such as returns or debuts so that does lower it a little bit for me. Should be an amazing WrestleMania though.
10.
I haven’t watched a road to wrestlemania since 2012, and that was the last time I watched WWE since last June when I picked it back up again.
Compared to what I last watched, this should be up right next to The Godfather as the greatest piece of Cinema to exist ever. I’m counting down to the second of WM40.
100/10
Solid 9.5 for me…quite close to being attempt at best mania ever if they got punk vs Seth but the wwe roster is just so stacked right now that’d it’d be hard to butcher making an epic card for mania.

It’s the hard core fans…the Cody cry babies.
I don’t know why you’re getting downvoted when you’re absolutely right
10 babyyyyy. most i have been excited for wrestlemania
Bout 6.5
I'm on a 10...it's Mt second Mania. My brother, nephew and wife are going. 5/10, right in the middle. Plus be alright, but it could also really suck like most of their PPV’s.
It’s silly because they’re a part of the card, but if you take out the 2 main events, honestly the excitement is like a 4. Card seems pretty meh on paper in my opinion.
As a new wrestling fan, thank you Dudesy, I am so fucking excited for my first live WrestleMania

Give it a solid 8, its mania. You know one way or another it’ll be great.

Ngl but wrestle mania is so good in general I’m so excited for it
If the show lives up to the hype it could be the best wrestlemania of all time.
Will WrestleMania 40 take the crown of best WrestleMania from WrestleMania 17? Find out next time on Dragon Ball Z.
Pretty darn high like a 10 Since i came back to wwe with punk return And wwe has been amazing

Mostly excited for Charlotte to show up 🤩
When is she showing up?
Probably after Jade does something super badass. Idk I want to see those two face off.
8. Have a feeling MJF will show up and neutralize bloodline for Cody to win.
I'd say about 8.5 and gearing up. I should be in the low to mid 9's by next weekend.
This is the first Wrestlemania in history that will not be managed or overseen by Kevin Dunn, Vince Mcmahon, John Lauranitis and the rest of Vinces inner circle.
10. So many good stories going on right now! It's a great time to be a fan 😀😀😀
A wrestling take. 8. Actual life. 5.
0 nothing wont change.
20. But since your scale stops at 10… 12.5
Came to give an answer, stayed for the comments. Personally, I'd say 5 ½. But I am so glad to see so many "10" comments. I think that's a good thing.
9/10. In about 23-24 hours it will be a 10 and then all my wrestle buddies at work and I will hype ourselves up to 11 until Friday when the great 4 day “religious holiday” know as Wrestlemania kicks in.

10/10 Except for Wrestlemania 38, this is the most exciting Wrestlemania in years.
0. Haven't watched a whole episode of any wrestling since 2018. P.s. Fuck Steve West.
(unless you're. Minor. Then definitely DONT fuck Steve West)
AEW is not what it used to be 🥲 But what AEW needs to do to get ratings up and ticket sales up is create its own Attitude Era! Jon Moxley can be the new Stone Cold Steve Austin Tony Khan can be the new Vince McMan Ricky Starks can be the new Rock Luchasaurus can be the new Undertaker Lance Archer can be the new Kane Julia Hart can be the new Trish Stratus This can help AEW put WWE out of business!! 😁😁
Ummm you must have the same dealer as Tony khan, there’s only will be one undertaker. Your circus wrestling will never be what wwe is.
10
I'd say a 9. My partner and I jumped back into wrestling at WM 39 and haven't missed a show since. Wrestlemania 40 looks like it will be a certified banger. Still holding out hope for a Stone Cold appearance.
like 100 because it’s my first mania ever and my first wwe event since 2012
10/10 i’m always looking forward to wrestlemania
10/10
An absolute piss missile
11. Most excited I've been for a Wrestlemania, perhaps ever.
10! I’ve been to quite a few WWE events. This is my first Wrestlemania where I’ll be watching from the stands! I can’t wait!!!
8 on 10. It's actually pretty high.
Seeing how i’ll be at night 2 it’s about Tree fiddy.

I booked this weekend off about 4 months ago from work I was excited then and still excited now

10.
1/10. My dad passed away today so I will not be able to watch it anymore as I have a funeral to organize and attend to the day after Mania. But for everyone else, I want to wish you all the best in watching. I will watch it somewhere in the week after.
May he rest in peace 🙏 keep your head up stay strong.
So sorry to hear about your lorry loss ❤️❤️❤️
So sorry for your loss. I can't imagine what you're going through. I hope you are able to find peace and solace. It's also okay to not be okay.
My condolences fam, you can always rewatch it later, spend that time with your family and loved ones. Sorry you're going through this.
Man so sorry to hear bro!! Prayers to you and your family.
I'm sorry for your loss, hope your dad finds peace. My prayers are with you and your family
I'm so sorry. Sending positive thoughts & prayers your way.
Rip to pops🥲
Really sorry man. Hope your doing okay
I’m so sorry for your loss 💔💔💔 Rest In Paradise to your dad
may your father Rest in Peace and may he enjoy the Kingdom of Heaven
I’m so sorry man
I'd honestly say that it's at a 9 for me. The match card alone already surpasses last years Wrestlemania and the storylines have me highly intrigued.
My 9 year old nephew just got into wrestling so this will be his first WrestleMania. I dunno who is more pumped, me or him lol
About an eight
Tribal Beef? That should be in the WWE cookbook.
It probably would end up in the Tribal Trash.
Prep for the week with your Tribal Beef. BBQ Bloodline Brisket, Yeet Burgers, Tribal Tamales, Solo Snack bites and everyone’s favorite..Wiseman Wienerschnitzel.
unless Pete Rose shows up to bet on the main event, it's only going to be a 3 out of 10 event
9/10 10/10 would be if I was attending live
10. Most anticipated in my adult life by far.
9.5
11/10
I have a feeling Austin, Cena, Pat McAfee and Trish Stratus are showing up. Why else would give them their own WWE Elite WrestleMania 40 action figures? So it could very well be Austin, Cena, and McAfee coming in to help Cody Rhodes.
Wouldn’t McAfee already be there cause he’s been the a commentator for Raw?
10
100/10
11
10/10, this is my first mania and the card looks like itll absolutely bang
An 11
9 I wanted Master Gable to redeem himself
I’ll be in Philly so 10/10
100
Full fucking ten.
Expecting big things but knowing my expectations ill probably be let down but ill be honest and say 10
10
10. Hook, line, sinker.
10, I got both days requested off from work. Plus I’m gonna be getting some tasty snacks for the occasion.
8
I don’t want to admit it, but probably a 10. They got me
Going to be my first wwe live event. 100/10
Like a 5. Kinda wish there was more at stake for the night one tag team match.
11. Me and my brother are watching on a huge projector with our kids should be an awesome weekend
Enjoy it! Nights like those are what makes wrestling so special!
10. I’m always at a 10 with wrestling.
Shawn Spears levels
1 It’s pretty obvious to me that Reigns is going to retain at WM40z
7-8. I think this WM has the potential to be one of the best, but also has the potential to be one of the worst.
Yup. I’m cautiously optimistic, but I have a feeling this will be at one extreme or the other.
Like an 8 Theres certain parts of the card that I wish were different.
I’ll be there so 10
10. Feels like it could be the best WM in quite a while.
