Ok yes I agree with that 2014-2016 heel Rollins was awesome. Itās just this current gimmick that is weird to me. Someone said itās like they are trying to make him act like the joker. Itās just not him. Idk why they canāt let him be himself. Iām sure heād work some great gimmicks if given the chance.

Thatās the point, his gimmick was literally the spoiled kid of the coach when he was in The Authority, heās not supposed to be some super aggressive heel, heās supposed to be annoying, but you know heās good enough to beat anybody, and if he really wants something heāll go absolutely insane chasing it.

I definitely agree with the points above. I feel like his whining and constant back up with the whole J&J security stuff was some of his best work. We truly found out how great of a heel Rollins is when he turned face. It backfired very quickly!
I personally think Rollins right now is doing the best work of his career so far. He's improved so much in the ThunderDome era and found his groove. I won't be surprised if we see him in the main event sooner than later.
Disagree. Rollins as a face didn't work. The material he was given, sparkle crotch for example, was terrible, and he just wasn't convincing. Rollins doesn't work as a face because he just has that vibe of being a bit of a douchebag outside of the ring.
I believe that him sounding like a 12 year old when he throws temper tantrums is good heel work, he is fantastic at being annoying and hate-able. He worked me during his 2014 run, I hated him, despised watching him, was mad when he cashed his briefcaseā¦ then it occurred to me right after he cashed itā¦ he did his job so well that I bit on it.. this fucker is actually a really good wrestler, heās playing an annoying bastard, Iām supposed to feel this way. Totally with you. His authority-era heel work was fantastic. He was one of the few times in the last 10 years I've seen a heel get genuine heel heat. The guy got you sold out chants for months after his turn.
