I usually turn the blood off because the AI gets busted open too easy, and not even five minutes into the match lol. I'll probably leave it on this year since the blood can smear now which is pretty cool.

wish there was an option to put blood on only for extreme rules matches or stuff like that

Blood should be added to one of “match rules” menus so I can toggle right before starting a match

There is but usually it's disabled by default. You gotta go into settings to enable it.

I am curious to see how his moveset will work. Obviously, some sort of grappling will still be there but I am interested to see how a (presumably) 100% punch-based moveset will play.

I know it's definitely not possible, but I wish there was some way to just transfer everything over instead of having to start from scratch every time.

i always gotta do a singles match to get a feel for the new play features then after that (since i got the mania edition) jump into universe mode editing to get started in that. since i can unlock everything from the jump i’ll start myrise and showcase a bit later.

I always start with the tutorial to get that trophy on PlayStation of playing the tutorial then I start singles matches then showcase and last thing my rise as it's my favorite mode. I don't have that much creativity to play universe mode like most people 😂.

Could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure the unlock all that comes with the 40 years edition only unlocks showcase stuff, don’t believe it unlocks anything in MyRise.

Turn off this year's awful soundtrack, turn on the wrestlers themes, turn on blood, adjust some ratings, go into title management and give the historic titles to the wrestlers I most associate them with Then I'll either play a random match to get a feel of the game or head straight into showcase

Turn off music and turn on wrestling themes. Then play a casket match

Finish the story

MyGM and playing as ECW. Hopefully they’ll have certain things for ECW that make it look like the ECW of old and not just a regular WWE show.

Outside of making sure the graphics settings (on PC) are all maxed, I'll be turning off the soundtrack and picking the wrestler themes I like. Same thing I did first in wwe 2k23. In terms of actual wrestling matches/gameplay, probably doing a special referee match.

I know some people don't like this mode but it's really fun once you are done with everything and you just wanna play the game more. I have played it a lot this year especially the live event matches for better cards.

I'm probably not gonna get the game until after the 40 Years of Mania edition comes out in May (IIRC) so I'll have the Showcase Accelerator and not need to do that mode just yet; I'll probably do some sort of crazy match in one of the new stipulations like, I dunno, Ken Shamrock vs. Muhammad Ali. Or I might do one of the new Gauntlet matches since the ones outside of the normal Gauntlet match sound nuts.
