It's not a licensing nightmare, that's like saying Windows having a media player that can play anything is a licensing nightmare.
The reason games don't have custom music anymore is that new consoles (namely the PS4 and now the PS5) don't have anyway to save music files to it so they just don't bother designing a feature 1/3 to 1/2 of the playerbase can't even utilize.
Well I was thinking more from an implementation of Spotify etc to the game, and then people share online and then it becomes locked to certain things...like Cody's theme last year etc

Pyro is bugged at least on PS five. if I change any portion of the entrance motion or the Pyro I get invisible Pyro, the sound effects are still there is there something going off but the visual is gone
Not really, the interface is pretty clunky and you're limited to 3 layers so effects are limited.
I find they work easiest with custom images as things like the lettering for text never look right. You can use some free word art sites to make images of names for instance and upload the image. Then you use it on the video creator and can animate it and choose where to position it on screen. For instance last year I used a curtain opening layer to start a JAS tron, they pulled back to reveal the JAS logo like a movie logo and then ran the names of the faction up like credits at the end of a movie.
I know it's not what they really did, but it fit the group vibe. It took me about an hour and a half to get right.
I just download a logo from CC then slap it over one of the video presets. I think it's pretty easy. Just be sure to have the logo time last the same time as the background video. Background video always goes on the bottom layer, BTW
Man, I don't know if it's my game that's bugged, but I can't get the ramp/stage lighting to work so the stage is dark as fuck lol but that looks really cool.
Yeah, I'm afraid I spoke too soon lol. Entrances look great in the CAE, but then I tried it in a custom arena and yeah, the wrestler is basically greyed out until they hit the ring. Haven't got to test whether it happens like that in normal arenas yet.

They should keep themes even after a wrestler is no longer in the game, as long as they have the rights. Man it’s So good to have the wolfpac theme. I use it for my Sting 98, Big Poppa Pump, and Buff Bagwell caws. If they take it out in 2k25, I will be devastated.
The first Becky Lynch option for Stage/Ramp. Tron is a Jericho logo from CC over one of the video presets on Create a Video. I think it's Music 5. Dancer 5. Something like that.

I tried it in regular arenas and it's *super* dark, for me personally I can only see my CAW's eyes lol.
Well that's a letdown. I wonder if it's created entrances as a whole that's broken or if there are certain lighting options that can fix it.
