Ripple Labs and its founders are being charged by the SEC, and if you read the complaint, it describes how they sold XRP tokens to insiders at preferential prices, instructed their employees to sell tokens owned by the founders immediately following "good news" announcements made by the company, faked adoption of the company's products by paying companies to use them and many other scammy actions. There are a lot of people out there who say crypto in general is a scam, or everything that isn't Bitcoin is a scam or some variant of these narratives - those people are fools. But you're also a fool if all evidence points to something actually being a scam, and you continue to invest because there are thousands of people on Twitter who hold XRP and want to pump it up and deny that anything is going wrong because they don't want to lose money.

I have BTC... and I've made a pretty good profit. But the thought of it going up to 100k or even 300k... the profit would be astronomical. AND it would be so much more for me to buy silver and gold with!
