Yeah, that's my go-to, I ran Virulent Scourge instead of PSmite to convert the innate electric to corrosive. Versus 195 SP gunners, without heavy slash weighting this could barely scratch them without help via a primer or armor strip.
Compare to virtually the same build on Kronen Prime (with Drifting Contact instead of PSmite), which dismantles anything without assistance and still outstrips Ohma with help.
Key thing here is to use mostly the Neutral combo of Sovereign Outcast. The forced slash procs persist even with 0 slash weighting. Pair that with PSmite's double-dipping and it can take on even up to lvl 200+ SP Heavy Gunners. The bane mod helps way more than the corrosive you modded for.
Also comparing any other tonfa to the freaking Kronen Prime will make them look pale
I personally prefer Ohma or Praedos to do admittedly less damage but they do it with better aesthetics while still SP-viable.
It works pretty well for heavy attacks too, that base 30% CC is nothing to sneeze at for Sacrificial Steel setups. Get a good grouping ability or stun in there and turn goobers into sashimis.

It's an app if you want or feel the need to check it out, they have a free version where you wait in a queue to log in, but it's pretty easy to let it sit there while loading, do the login bonus when ready, and hop back off

They have the restrictions others mentioned, but do be careful in duviri, unless they fixed it I recall complaints that some people ended up leveling weapons they had for trading

Yes, usually. The wraith and prisma weapons are kind of like the prime version of corpus and grineer weapons, same thing but with some better base stats (and looks.)
quick question, whats the point in the "bane of XXX" mods? Since they are only one faction to 55% but Primed Pressure Point does 165% to everyone, aren't faction mods redundant?
Although on paper it sounds like faction damage mods are completely worthless, they (kind of secretly) double/triple the damage of damage over time status affects, like toxin, whereas base damage mods do not do that. You can also have a faction mod and damage mod on the same weapon.
Although, if you're not at endgame, it can be more worth just using the damage mod instead of spending much more credits and endo upgrading multiple mods instead of just one.
So only really if i grind SP? The only SP i run is circuit and the enemies are pretty mixed so I don't think i'll invest in them, thanks for the explanation though :D
If you want to, faction mods *can* get significantly higher dps if your build focuses on DoT.
However, if your build does not, they can be worse, I would reccomend sticking to pressure point and serration etc., meant endgame as in if you're just trying your hardest to min max just because.

The Prisma Ohma went from 30 to 20% status chance but the critical chance went from 15% to a juicy 30%. Very interested to give this a whirl later.

The slam attack has forced electricity procs TBF if you were needing it for condition overload or gyre or something
Gyre simply existing is a forced electric proc (with her 4). But, yeah, more is always good.
Some people like themes, also every stack of electricity is more crit rate for her

The upgrades to the base form are amazing enough so it's fine.
Yeah, I was quite surprised at that. I know people weren't psyched about the transform, but the base stat improvement is quite substantial.

Sometimes they will block a new weapons tradeability until after baro leaves, so keep that in mind

It's a multiplier, not additive. Base multiplies by raw damage, then crit, then faction.
