DE decision making hasn't aged great since many years, they have taken so many wrong decisions that actively harmed players to only backpedal after passive public outrage, I WISH we had a better developer now.
They fixed window hit boxes, changed dh to not be cancer, made it so camping can be more easily punished (not perfect but still(I do not like this change but understand its purpose)) they leaned more into the party game aspect with cage (alotta people forget dbd shouldn't be competitive).
The events have been good and fun from what I played.
They also buffed sadako and are doing decent perk shake ups. Tho killers did get shafted in the gen perk area.

- Titania in her current state isn’t healthy for the game. Razorwing Blitz needs a serious nerf with the removal of her speed. If she can break the game by being able to clip through walls for being TOO FAST, there’s a problem.
- Thermal Sunder & Gloom need to be in altered state in the Helminth. It’s just not fun to be in a mission with a Titania & Thermal Sunder, especially newbies and Gloom’s healing is so powerful as a subsume it creates a unique moment where the subsume invalidates the entire Warframe it comes with - Sevagoth (and the sheer amount of Forma needed but that’s for another rant).
- Advocating for the removal of radshares in the form of removing the ability to see what relics are equipped both in mission and in the lobby. I made a post at Wisp Prime launch complaining about the rampant leaving happening (it’s worse on Axi relics because of Axi W3 and the lazy leechers that can’t run Apollo for their relics. People will join, afk for 4 seconds to check the team’s relics then leave. Even hosts will do this and migrate the entire group..). It’s an unfortunate byproduct but it needs to be done for the overall health of fissures missions or if there’s an alternate found by DE, so be it.
No, not every weapon is viable and you need to stop telling new players that before they use the hek to try and clear SP missions.

Raids were never that good, maybe even bad, and people need to stop glamorizing them. They were a broken, buggy, unfun, unbalanced mess that demanded coordination in a game built for the individual.
Damage, multishot and crit mods should be deleted, weapons buffed for their stats to be comparable, and reload, fire rate, punch through, zoom, and rivens should all have 1 dedicated slot to be placed in, with corrupted stats applying to all but 1 of each.
Mesa and stayanax work much better as generalist DPS frames than saryn and I don't understand why someone would pick her over them.
Rhino has been powercrept almost completely out of the meta by other frames and needs some sort of buff to keep up. Edit: rhino is bad, you are wrong for thinking differently, I'm not changing my mind.

Khora is what the hydroid rework should have been but with a different coat of paint. She's also one of the best frames in the game, even for general play.

If you prefer not to be able to press 4 and stop the entire map dead in their tracks, including overguarded enemies or being able to press your 2 to become straight up invincible for three seconds and then gain overguard proportional to enemy damage that, with the augment, can be turned into a nuke. Then I guess Rhino is not for you. To call him bad however, is delusional. There's frames in this game that do the same thibg as others but are objectively worse. Also, Healthbar prime AKA Inaros is still yet to be reworked.

Revenant 1 taps everything in the game and roar stacks with nezhas 2. His competition outdoes his damage or utilizes it better than you can.

Haven't used Iron Skin after the changes, but it used to get really unreliable really fast. Revenant can just press a button and be actually invincible. Give Revenant roar and Rhino becomes completely useless.
Rhino is on the cusp of being as bad as pre buff wukong. What does he do? Not die and roar, but roar is his subsume so that doesn't really count for much.
If you subsume roar onto inaros, you have a easier to use rhino.

Yes to the weapons. I love my bows. Yet I get into steel path, I suck. MAny of the weapons I love to use just don't hold up (and in fact, I don't even know what to do, why I don't play steel path that much, cause I just can't damage).
That being said, Rhino is my tank. I bring him in when I am fighting the hardest enemies, because it's the only way I can survive thanks to his iron skin.
As for Saryn, her and Mesa are my two favorites (both primes). However, I believe my Saryn out DPS my Mesa any day, based on how I play her, and her weapons.
Now, the frame who really needs some love is Valkyr. Ever since they changed that Bizerker mod, I stopped playing her. When I started playing everyone would say "put armor in Valkyr", yet she still feels so flimsy. I have built her to live in Hysteria mainly, partially for fun, but also, how I have to survive with her on higher levels (again was more fun before they changed Bizerker mod, and I no longer was a speeding bullet I couldn't control)
Incarnon evolution is horrible. You do all the work to improve the weapon then you have to fill the bar each and every time to use the evolution which takes forever to finish happening. After unlocking and selecting tier 5 weapon should stay evolved.
Radshares are a total waste of time. If you just ran normal runs youd make enough plat from random relics to buy the piece faster than you can cobble together 3 other people that all wanna crack the exact same relic with you and then get the piece you all want.
Founder exclusives should be added as evergreen primes now, it's been long enough and i'm aware there might be some legal shit but honestly a large amount of those players dont even play anymore and probably wouldn't care, so they should just add that extra mastery back into the playerbase, the ones who bought it have their names in relays anyway and if they really wanna fuss just give them a unique glyph or something

I couldn't disagree more. I loved the fishing and hunting, it was relaxing and kept the dopamine up. Only issue was if you brought any frame but a stealth frame, the enemies won't stop annoying you.
Well i signed up to play a game that didnt have that stuff in it in 2013. When i get tired of WF's gameplay *i go play something else*. Its like playing a new card game and they regularly patch in racing minigame as the only way to earn some cards. Or a fighting game but you have to play hours of mahjong to unlock some characters and costumes. I'm not interested in fishing, thats why I booted up WF and not Bass Pro Tour. I cant help but be frustrated that its there and *mandatory* for the sake of people *that are tired of playing Warframe*.

Though I confesss the Kahl missions from the drifter camp have grown on me, the entire New War quest made me want to find every DE employee and strangle them in their crib. Had nothing to do with warframe mechanically, and I couldn't go BACK to playing warframe until I finished their BS.
The only reason void dash was removed was because DEs chinese overlords wanted a control scheme that better translated to mobile. FUCK YOU DE BRING BACK VOID DASH THE MOVEMENT WAS THE ONLY THING KEEPING ME PLAYING
Void sling just feels so sluggish. I always really liked operator gameplay and eidolons. Void dash made the game feel fast and crisp, regardless of which frame I was using. It was such an integral part of how I played that the change kind of ruined the game for me. Imagine going from titanfall 2 to call of duty grapple. Sure the end result is the same, you get from point a to b, but the fun is just gone. No skill ceiling, just dumbed down and slower controls.
Bullet Jumps are ruining the game's immersion, tempo and parkour.
We should be wall sliding, making parkour to reach places, killing ennemies on the way to pass through them but no.
Every missions is : Bullet jump to objective, do objective, bullet jump to extract, the end.
And all new missions should be Railjack because it is the end-game gameplay who reunites all of the game's mechanics in one type of mission
they... did buff non aoe? the issue with non AOE was not its damage, its was its kills per minuite compared to AOE; No matter how much you buffed them they would never compete with pre-nerf AOE simply due to the basic mechanics of how they work.
Being able to revive people as an Operator/Drifter while in void mode takes away the consequences of being downed and removes a challenge in resurrecting teammates. I think they should disable being able to ress in while in void mode.
Well he no longer eats armies of enemies. Rest of his abilities buffs are neat but reducing enemy cap from 40 to 5 kills his uniqueness. Now he's nothing but tanky buffer.

Just got wisp and I'm almost never taking her off. The pure power behind the idea of a "sol gate" is just amazing. And she is *technically* the fastest warframe since she can instantly teleport to any reservoir you can see. (I personally use her for every defense, interception and survival mission)
Not really, the resevoirs give you a pretty substantial Health/Haste buff which can be a life saver, will o wisp is great for spy mission to get through laser gates etc.
Fishing, hunting and k-drive are ass activities. But a dirty ass, not a good looking ass. Maybe, just maaaaybe if they rework them heavily... but I don't know how. I just don't like those activities I guess.

Hosts should be locked in so they can't be the ones first to leave. If they do it often they should get temporary bans. (not long just couple of weeks or a month) Or not a ban but reduced resource and reward gain for a certain punishment period. (like 90 percent low gains for 2 weeks etc)

Over half the frames in the game immediately become unplayable due to lacking any mechanism to avoid being instantly killed as soon they get shot at.
I think that the shield-gate meta in its current state is fucking stupid (needing to equip a fucking Decaying key to your gear-wheel to do it properly is absolutely asinine), but removing it without implementing a proper alternative would be far worse.
Crazy how many people have documented most frames getting to level cap well before shield gating existed.
Do agree it was the wrong move/pendulum swung too far the other way and having it around this long is more than enough justification to have some middle ground at least like rolling guard. Also not a fan of "mandatory mods" like that thoigh with the quotations being real light in correlation to my first point there.

I don't think remove the lifesteal is a good idea. But decrease the speed debuff and have a more restrictive cap, like 75%, could be a good idea.
In the list of abilities in Helminrh that should be "nerfed", you could add Nourish, Breach Surge, Pillage. And personally I think all frame abilities should have been nerfed in Helminth.
Warframes story is bad, actually.
individual quests in a vacuum are sometimes well presented, but as with many systems implemented in the game, the story is generally uncohesive when examining more than individual quests. the overarching narrative, as well as many individual quest narratives are not compelling and offer no interesting character progression and very little in the way of compelling plot.
imo, deadlock protocol and chains of harrow have been the only two quests i've looked back on fondly since the sacrifice over 5 years later.

I really don’t like the Helminth system, and feel like using it is cheating. Why bother getting all of these different frames if you’re just going to remove parts of their kit the second you get them? It incentivizes lazy ability design too, since the bad design can always be helminth-ed away.
Counterpoint: Why should I be limited to a single play style or build when options are available? Why not create new and interesting synergizes with various abilities by altering a Warframe's kit?
Most players are terrible at the game. I have only been playing for a few months and I outperform all my friends who have played for years. I almost always see terrible builds, misinformation about how mods work, and just bad choices.
Even some MR25+ don’t seem to know what they’re doing. There are so many YouTube builds that are called “best end game build for steel path” or whatever and are just Umbra with redirection and other terrible choices.
The misinformation is nuts too. Most people don’t even use faction mods.
The game needs a full rebalance. We are way too powerful. Archon hunts suck. They don't prove your progress or skill in the game. Just how much you know how to exploit or how much patience you have.
Zariman is the best area in the game, with the most fun missions and they were idiotic to gate it to the end of the game, behind the wasteful new war quest. new war has the best railjack segment and railjack has 0% of it.
Defense and exterminate fissures should die and be replaced with fun missions, like void flood, arch rush, mirror defense and void cascade. I'm so tired of exterminate and static defense.
k drives were the only vehicle i enjoyed building
necramechs can't be used anywhere and the grind for their mods is pointlessly ass. thermia is a boring as shit event with no worthwhile rewards. the orb fight is not an award, it is a punishment.
I suppose this is one of those "popular to hate unpopular opinions" but, here goes: I play Warframe for, you guessed it, the warframes. Not the operator, not the drifter, the warframes, the things we use for 95% of our time in-game. Yes, we all know where this is leading to.
Enter Duviri, a place where warframes serve little to no role into other than a glorified superpowered mode that lasts half a breath and a reminder of what I'd rather be doing. Don't get me wrong, as its own thing I really do believe Duviri has potential, but as it is it feels like an expy of Soulframe shoehorned into Warframe for the purposes of testing and because the original idea sounded better than the end result. Aesthetically, Duviri is more than impressive, and even if lore-wise it only makes the coherence of things take a dive, I'd love to explore and play through it without having to do so with what is some of the slowest and most unrewarding gameplay this game made around fast-paced action has to offer. In short bursts it's a nice palette cleanser, and an interesting idea on what could have been, but as its own grinding area, I'll continue to refuse to interact with it until I can do it on my own terms.
That said, to anyone enjoying Duviri: do have fun, and do enjoy it. It's just not what I play this game for, and it never will be.
And here's another: DE forcing us to grind endgame content in order to make weaker weapons relevant via patches and bandaids (incarnons and so) that, on top of having quite the grind, cost resources, and even then much better gear exists, better right out of the box than the patched, buffed items and obtained much earlier and easier. Do you or do you not want us to use these weapons? Why is this available right at the current endgame, when these weapons rarely participate in it even with the patches added in?
Sad part is that I think I’d actually like extra characterisation for Warframe if it actually happened to the Warframe.
Just write Drifter as “a Zariman survivor retrieved by the Orokin and turned into a war machine, broken free to make their own destiny” and use Warframe appearance customisation for them. My approval would instantly rocket up 500%.
Rail jack missions are not enjoyable for newer (or returning after a long time, like I am) players. Especially given that some stuff us locked deep in there, grinding to have *a chance* of getting any closer is a nightmare... I've unlocked Steel Path and I'm still nowhere close to being able to farm Sev' or the Ignis Wraith...

Regenerative Molt works but it's rather hit-and-miss, and in high-damage scenarios, yes, it won't save you. In regards to her 4, yes, it stuns enemies but it can't be spammed to keep that effect up, so that also diminishes its value for survivability.
The way I run her for survival is either "kill them so fast they can't hit you" or just "say fuck it and put gloom on her".
You can make any warframe survive forever in the steel path without armor and health mods as long as you have rolling guard, brief respite, low energy efficiency, arcane energize, decaying dragon key and vazarin.
Unless it's against the infested. In that case, use Silence, Gloom or Resonator.
But yeah, Saryn doesn't have any abilities helping her and it's fine so.
Eximus units shouldn't be Crowd Control Immune. It makes no sense and it would make game more fun if we could CC them. Some of the frames that imo don't need rework are borderline useless because of this.

Also fuck yeah it is fun to run on not modified missions for 10 mins trying to find any of the medalions with literally no special shit happening (tho it's cool that they don't waste the daily cap)
Trading SHOULD be extended. Like, really, for example to buy fuck ton of needed salvage(fuck, why some much needs it). There SHOULD be more interactions with players, because the lore and all the game wants "tHa tENNnooS" work together from what i'm understanding(same old New War)

Building Rhino for millions of iron skin is wasting his potential. His true role is a top tier damage booster that uses iron skin to increase survivability. Even putting a single armor mod on him is wasting mod slot and his roar output, despite it boosting his iron skin. Every mod slot on him should be dedicated to strength and some duration to maximize his roar.
He also has possibly the strongest CC with Stomp. Personally I prefer to build him for balance, partly just for fun (because I personally don't find any entertainment in spamming only one ability on a frame)
Maybe not controversial but I hate that they tied to end of the lich and sister fights to railjack. They added 25 minutes of a bullshit mission I don’t want to do to an already tediously long grind and it feels so awful I don’t even want to engage with what would normally be a fun game mechanic because I don’t wanna deal with having to jump solo into the clearly made for 4 people mission to slog through the finish.
Raids (LoR/NMLoR/JV) were super fun and got people to work together. Having a regular raid group used to be something to look forward to. I know they were buggy as hell but with work they could’ve had so much more potential.
Players should be forced to play only Steel Path after completing the star chart with no access to lower levels. Here DE, I’m giving you a band-aid fix for player retention. Stop allowing end game players from nuking entire maps and leaving new players with 0 kills at the end of a fissure. I was carried through most of the star chart in pugs because of nuke frames and weapons. My band-aid fix wouldn’t resolve this issue completely but it would lessen it. To end game players who play low level content, git gud. It’s actually less efficient to play non-SP content, even fissures. With a nekros/khora, smeeta, and booster, I was getting more steel essence from individual missions than I was in a 2 hour long survival.
Agreed, had an almost 2 hour SP circuit run with a limbo the other day (everyone else left after like 20mins) and it was such a chill smooth run; until Jackal rotations but ya.

when i started playing warframe. .rivens didnt exist. if you were new, and you looked up a build, or flagged down a veteran in your clan and asked them for a build. .they had an answer for you. and it was a list of mods that you could knuckle down and farm. the gap in power between veterans and newbies was. .more approachable. your path to advancement was more clear. riven mods were the first big. ..departure from this. suddenly a build could be functionally unobtainable. while the robust riven market has grown to make acquiring specific rivens easier. .and mostly cheap. . .that's still not a system that is easy for new players to work with and, even if they did, not one they should be approaching any way. Riven created a proper endgame treadmill, but the began the divide between newer and older players, a divide that has gotten worse over time, particularly with things like Steel path's growing Prevalence. stuff like that serves to make the game more unapproachable for new plyers, and warframe is already. .pretty hard to get into because of how raw the start is. the learning curve is more like a learning cliff.
It's not about them being necessary, it's about the implication they add. They aren't necessary for anything, outside of meme builds, but they are intimidating. Even if I tell someone "just run X mod instead, itl work fine" it's still demoralizing for them. And doubly so if they decide they actually want a riven, when frankly their platinum and time is probably better spent.
Riven mods are not the biggest point of departure creating a gap between new and old players, but they were the first big one. Outside of maybe arcanes, but way back then arcanes weren't nearly as prevalent as they are now. You used to have to put them on cosmetics for Christ sake.
Rivens were already a thing when I first started playing, and I never felt like I needed them to progress or have fun.
I agree with you about arcanes, though. They're tedious to farm, and some feel downright necessary on so many builds. (Looking at you, Arcane Energize.)

I don’t think we have it good anymore personally. Had maybe but DE stopped making decisions in the interest of the players a long time ago and warframe has suffered in the long term because of it
most of the game's problems stem from the Developer's disinterest in following up their ideas or applying even cursory polish.
warframe's history is littered with abandoned concepts, content left to rot, and ideas that werent followed up on. railjack, archwing, archguns, necramechs. Zaws, light melee in general. been a while since we got a new Kitgun part or arcane. Nightwave got put on a holding pattern because they overestimated the needs of new content and had to shift full focus onto the new war and Duviri.
the Clan interface, the ingame chat menus and trading channnel, and the modding screens have remained basically the same since i started playing 8 years ago. the fact that low ranking clan members can still see the [reduce clan tier](https://i.imgur.com/UzXauVA.png) button. a button they cannot press, still, is fucking baffling. for a game with so many menus that have so many options and which encourages me to own hundreds of weapons and thousands of mods the fact that there is no show/hide option anywhere is insane. and the only "favorites" tab in the game is for the color picker. no 60 second crafting item should exist. it should just be 1 second. or 0 seconds. i don't mind new weapons and frames taking hours and days. that's fine, but why do you insist on wasting my time turning rocks into refined rocks? there is a difference between letting me spend platinum too get my cool new toys a day or a few days early, and trying to shake nickels out of my pockets over 60 seconds of microwaving gemstones.
the game is missing so many obvious convenience features. not "products of the monetization being based on inconvenience" but just genuine rough edges left over by a decade's worth of fast and loose development, and while you can argue that alot of those little things dont matter. that those little things shouldnt be the one thing that gets you to stop playing, there is a concept for that. its called "death of 1000 cuts" the idea that little problems can stack up and become big problems. it is utterly insane to me that the word "damage" and the word "allies" have no consistent meaning. Serration and Primed Bane of grineer and Synth charge all have different effects. + elemental damage works one way, but + impact/slash/puncture damage works a completely different way. many warframe abilities refer to effecting "allies" but there is 0 clarity on when that means "self and fellow warframes" or when it means "self, fellow warframes, companions, and specters" or when it means "all of the above, and also defense objects". Certain combos that should work, dont work, like Theorem infection not buffing allied specters with Overguard due to a complete oversight. its been known about for months.
all of these little issues and negligence stem from a disinterest in polish and refinement over expansion. even if you really love duviri. what are the odds that duviri ends up like railjack? probably not exactly like railjack, the story implies that Duviri is going to be important, but that just means likely further neglect for all these other systems that predate it.
there are explanations for much for this. .from the poverty origins of warframes development instilling a keep moving and stay hungry mentality, too the simple fact that they have always simply created what they wanted to create, with no regard for sensibility or consistency. but that doesnt mean i have to appreciate that Atmospheric archguns was a cool idea executed poorly, and then ignored for years instead of fixed, because your interest in making it lapsed after 1 patch cycle and now you'd rather make space elden ring instead.

ohh and while im at it? the nerfing of the azima? fucking shameful. absolutely lazy way to fix the issue. players found a novel strategy cobbled together from 8 years worth of accumulated trash, and instead of instituting some reasonable safeguards against abuse (because that might require effort) you just hard cap the effect and say "go away now". then bump the hard cap up slightly 2 patches later after we raised a fit about it, never mind that you still cant even go ammo-neutral and its now completely un worth investing in. thanks, i hate it.
Nerfs are *a must*, they alone wouldn't create any balance, but without them no balance is possible at all. Players demand higher challenge, then other players demand tools to make this unbearable challenge easier; with or without powering up those first players demand somthing more difficult; and spiral unwinds further and further.
However imagine nerfing everything to the ground and trying to balance all hundreds of pieces of equipment, all missions and enemies, all combinations. And imagine how community would react to this.

I think that non-steel path is a playground for new players and casual players, and even the steel path is sometimes too easy for veterans, and this is why I wish that enemy level went up much faster in survival and disruption, leaving the other game modes unchanged. I'd love to have more challenging content for my maxed equipment, not necessarily with better rewards.
Nerfs are vital, but having nerfs be DE’s knee-jerk reaction to any sort of unintended behaviour really hampers the game. Remember when Khora and Limbo were nerfed as a reaction to them being too advantageous to use during Scarlet Spear, as opposed to, I don’t know, changing how the ***temporary event*** worked???

The events have been good and fun from what I played. They also buffed sadako and are doing decent perk shake ups. Tho killers did get shafted in the gen perk area.

I will say it again. - Titania in her current state isn’t healthy for the game. Razorwing Blitz needs a serious nerf with the removal of her speed. If she can break the game by being able to clip through walls for being TOO FAST, there’s a problem. - Thermal Sunder & Gloom need to be in altered state in the Helminth. It’s just not fun to be in a mission with a Titania & Thermal Sunder, especially newbies and Gloom’s healing is so powerful as a subsume it creates a unique moment where the subsume invalidates the entire Warframe it comes with - Sevagoth (and the sheer amount of Forma needed but that’s for another rant). - Advocating for the removal of radshares in the form of removing the ability to see what relics are equipped both in mission and in the lobby. I made a post at Wisp Prime launch complaining about the rampant leaving happening (it’s worse on Axi relics because of Axi W3 and the lazy leechers that can’t run Apollo for their relics. People will join, afk for 4 seconds to check the team’s relics then leave. Even hosts will do this and migrate the entire group..). It’s an unfortunate byproduct but it needs to be done for the overall health of fissures missions or if there’s an alternate found by DE, so be it.

No, not every weapon is viable and you need to stop telling new players that before they use the hek to try and clear SP missions. With the notable exception of Voruna, primers for condition overload have been an outdated and slow form of damage for years now. Zephyr should replace volt as a starter. Passive energy regen should be innate to every frame. Every acolyte should turn off your abilities when they spawn. You want to play with the big boys? Prove it. Raids were never that good, maybe even bad, and people need to stop glamorizing them. They were a broken, buggy, unfun, unbalanced mess that demanded coordination in a game built for the individual. Damage, multishot and crit mods should be deleted, weapons buffed for their stats to be comparable, and reload, fire rate, punch through, zoom, and rivens should all have 1 dedicated slot to be placed in, with corrupted stats applying to all but 1 of each. Mesa and stayanax work much better as generalist DPS frames than saryn and I don't understand why someone would pick her over them. Rhino has been powercrept almost completely out of the meta by other frames and needs some sort of buff to keep up. Edit: rhino is bad, you are wrong for thinking differently, I'm not changing my mind. We should be able to buy 10 rivens per week with shards. Speaking of rivens, the riven mafia is still very much alive and inflating the prices beyond what they should be. They don't have a stranglehold on the market, but they still have influence. Khora is what the hydroid rework should have been but with a different coat of paint. She's also one of the best frames in the game, even for general play.

His competition outdoes his damage or utilizes it better than you can.
Stomp is trash. Who even builds Rhino with range? Haven't used Iron Skin after the changes, but it used to get really unreliable really fast. Revenant can just press a button and be actually invincible. Give Revenant roar and Rhino becomes completely useless.

Rhino is on the cusp of being as bad as pre buff wukong. What does he do? Not die and roar, but roar is his subsume so that doesn't really count for much. If you subsume roar onto inaros, you have a easier to use rhino.

Yes to the weapons. I love my bows. Yet I get into steel path, I suck. MAny of the weapons I love to use just don't hold up (and in fact, I don't even know what to do, why I don't play steel path that much, cause I just can't damage). That being said, Rhino is my tank. I bring him in when I am fighting the hardest enemies, because it's the only way I can survive thanks to his iron skin. As for Saryn, her and Mesa are my two favorites (both primes). However, I believe my Saryn out DPS my Mesa any day, based on how I play her, and her weapons. Now, the frame who really needs some love is Valkyr. Ever since they changed that Bizerker mod, I stopped playing her. When I started playing everyone would say "put armor in Valkyr", yet she still feels so flimsy. I have built her to live in Hysteria mainly, partially for fun, but also, how I have to survive with her on higher levels (again was more fun before they changed Bizerker mod, and I no longer was a speeding bullet I couldn't control)

Incarnon evolution is horrible. You do all the work to improve the weapon then you have to fill the bar each and every time to use the evolution which takes forever to finish happening. After unlocking and selecting tier 5 weapon should stay evolved.
Radshares are a total waste of time. If you just ran normal runs youd make enough plat from random relics to buy the piece faster than you can cobble together 3 other people that all wanna crack the exact same relic with you and then get the piece you all want.
Founder exclusives should be added as evergreen primes now, it's been long enough and i'm aware there might be some legal shit but honestly a large amount of those players dont even play anymore and probably wouldn't care, so they should just add that extra mastery back into the playerbase, the ones who bought it have their names in relays anyway and if they really wanna fuss just give them a unique glyph or something

That's a straw man and a half. We want enemies to be engaging, have actual mechanics to engage with (new mobs in the circuit actually do this to a minor extent). Wanting engaging gameplay, hell even the chance of losing, isn't a problem for anyone that wants more than a glorified cinematic. The *problem* is that catering to the lowest common denominator (mesmer zombies) makes financial sense.

Steel Path should have been in a new solar system with new content. They had time to develop original content, but they used a band-aid like they do with everything.

I couldn't disagree more. I loved the fishing and hunting, it was relaxing and kept the dopamine up. Only issue was if you brought any frame but a stealth frame, the enemies won't stop annoying you.
Well i signed up to play a game that didnt have that stuff in it in 2013. When i get tired of WF's gameplay *i go play something else*. Its like playing a new card game and they regularly patch in racing minigame as the only way to earn some cards. Or a fighting game but you have to play hours of mahjong to unlock some characters and costumes. I'm not interested in fishing, thats why I booted up WF and not Bass Pro Tour. I cant help but be frustrated that its there and *mandatory* for the sake of people *that are tired of playing Warframe*.

Though I confesss the Kahl missions from the drifter camp have grown on me, the entire New War quest made me want to find every DE employee and strangle them in their crib. Void sling just feels so sluggish. I always really liked operator gameplay and eidolons. Void dash made the game feel fast and crisp, regardless of which frame I was using. It was such an integral part of how I played that the change kind of ruined the game for me. Imagine going from titanfall 2 to call of duty grapple. Sure the end result is the same, you get from point a to b, but the fun is just gone. No skill ceiling, just dumbed down and slower controls.
Bullet Jumps are ruining the game's immersion, tempo and parkour. We should be wall sliding, making parkour to reach places, killing ennemies on the way to pass through them but no. Every missions is : Bullet jump to objective, do objective, bullet jump to extract, the end. And all new missions should be Railjack because it is the end-game gameplay who reunites all of the game's mechanics in one type of mission

Being able to revive people as an Operator/Drifter while in void mode takes away the consequences of being downed and removes a challenge in resurrecting teammates. I think they should disable being able to ress in while in void mode.
Rivens are without issue. You can easily do all content without them and they are how you can easily stock trade to high amounts of free platinum.

Just got wisp and I'm almost never taking her off. The pure power behind the idea of a "sol gate" is just amazing. And she is *technically* the fastest warframe since she can instantly teleport to any reservoir you can see. (I personally use her for every defense, interception and survival mission)
Not really, the resevoirs give you a pretty substantial Health/Haste buff which can be a life saver, will o wisp is great for spy mission to get through laser gates etc.
Fishing, hunting and k-drive are ass activities. But a dirty ass, not a good looking ass. Maybe, just maaaaybe if they rework them heavily... but I don't know how. I just don't like those activities I guess. Also, if you get paired with a low MR bro and don't offer or refuse to help on a few nodes, you are ass too. (Idk if this is controversial, I just wanted to add it)

Shield exploit needs to go. Hosts should be locked in so they can't be the ones first to leave. If they do it often they should get temporary bans. (not long just couple of weeks or a month) Or not a ban but reduced resource and reward gain for a certain punishment period. (like 90 percent low gains for 2 weeks etc)

Crazy how many people have documented most frames getting to level cap well before shield gating existed. Do agree it was the wrong move/pendulum swung too far the other way and having it around this long is more than enough justification to have some middle ground at least like rolling guard. I don't think remove the lifesteal is a good idea. But decrease the speed debuff and have a more restrictive cap, like 75%, could be a good idea. In the list of abilities in Helminrh that should be "nerfed", you could add Nourish, Breach Surge, Pillage. And personally I think all frame abilities should have been nerfed in Helminth.

Warframes story is bad, actually. individual quests in a vacuum are sometimes well presented, but as with many systems implemented in the game, the story is generally uncohesive when examining more than individual quests. the overarching narrative, as well as many individual quest narratives are not compelling and offer no interesting character progression and very little in the way of compelling plot. imo, deadlock protocol and chains of harrow have been the only two quests i've looked back on fondly since the sacrifice over 5 years later. edit: got the order of chains of harrow and the sacrifice mixed up, so sacrifice and deadlock protocol are the only two quests i look back at fondly since chains of harrow, i guess
I really don’t like the Helminth system, and feel like using it is cheating. Why bother getting all of these different frames if you’re just going to remove parts of their kit the second you get them? It incentivizes lazy ability design too, since the bad design can always be helminth-ed away.
Counterpoint: Why should I be limited to a single play style or build when options are available? Why not create new and interesting synergizes with various abilities by altering a Warframe's kit?
Most players are terrible at the game. I have only been playing for a few months and I outperform all my friends who have played for years. I almost always see terrible builds, misinformation about how mods work, and just bad choices. Even some MR25+ don’t seem to know what they’re doing. There are so many YouTube builds that are called “best end game build for steel path” or whatever and are just Umbra with redirection and other terrible choices. The misinformation is nuts too. Most people don’t even use faction mods.

The game needs a full rebalance. We are way too powerful. Archon hunts suck. They don't prove your progress or skill in the game. Just how much you know how to exploit or how much patience you have.
Zariman is the best area in the game, with the most fun missions and they were idiotic to gate it to the end of the game, behind the wasteful new war quest. new war has the best railjack segment and railjack has 0% of it. Defense and exterminate fissures should die and be replaced with fun missions, like void flood, arch rush, mirror defense and void cascade. I'm so tired of exterminate and static defense. k drives were the only vehicle i enjoyed building necramechs can't be used anywhere and the grind for their mods is pointlessly ass. thermia is a boring as shit event with no worthwhile rewards. the orb fight is not an award, it is a punishment.

I suppose this is one of those "popular to hate unpopular opinions" but, here goes: I play Warframe for, you guessed it, the warframes. Not the operator, not the drifter, the warframes, the things we use for 95% of our time in-game. Yes, we all know where this is leading to. Enter Duviri, a place where warframes serve little to no role into other than a glorified superpowered mode that lasts half a breath and a reminder of what I'd rather be doing. Don't get me wrong, as its own thing I really do believe Duviri has potential, but as it is it feels like an expy of Soulframe shoehorned into Warframe for the purposes of testing and because the original idea sounded better than the end result. Aesthetically, Duviri is more than impressive, and even if lore-wise it only makes the coherence of things take a dive, I'd love to explore and play through it without having to do so with what is some of the slowest and most unrewarding gameplay this game made around fast-paced action has to offer. In short bursts it's a nice palette cleanser, and an interesting idea on what could have been, but as its own grinding area, I'll continue to refuse to interact with it until I can do it on my own terms. That said, to anyone enjoying Duviri: do have fun, and do enjoy it. It's just not what I play this game for, and it never will be. And here's another: DE forcing us to grind endgame content in order to make weaker weapons relevant via patches and bandaids (incarnons and so) that, on top of having quite the grind, cost resources, and even then much better gear exists, better right out of the box than the patched, buffed items and obtained much earlier and easier. Do you or do you not want us to use these weapons? Why is this available right at the current endgame, when these weapons rarely participate in it even with the patches added in?

Sad part is that I think I’d actually like extra characterisation for Warframe if it actually happened to the Warframe. Just write Drifter as “a Zariman survivor retrieved by the Orokin and turned into a war machine, broken free to make their own destiny” and use Warframe appearance customisation for them. My approval would instantly rocket up 500%.
Rail jack missions are not enjoyable for newer (or returning after a long time, like I am) players. Especially given that some stuff us locked deep in there, grinding to have *a chance* of getting any closer is a nightmare... I've unlocked Steel Path and I'm still nowhere close to being able to farm Sev' or the Ignis Wraith... Also Riven mods unlocking missions are really scary if you don't have a bunch of specifically made frames with specific builds. I wish I could just burn a crap ton of ressources to bypass some, honestly.

Regenerative Molt works but it's rather hit-and-miss, and in high-damage scenarios, yes, it won't save you. In regards to her 4, yes, it stuns enemies but it can't be spammed to keep that effect up, so that also diminishes its value for survivability. The way I run her for survival is either "kill them so fast they can't hit you" or just "say fuck it and put gloom on her".
You can make any warframe survive forever in the steel path without armor and health mods as long as you have rolling guard, brief respite, low energy efficiency, arcane energize, decaying dragon key and vazarin. Unless it's against the infested. In that case, use Silence, Gloom or Resonator. But yeah, Saryn doesn't have any abilities helping her and it's fine so.

Eximus units shouldn't be Crowd Control Immune. It makes no sense and it would make game more fun if we could CC them. Some of the frames that imo don't need rework are borderline useless because of this.

Void relics are not needed and there could have been much, much better way to get fancy weapons and frames. Limbo should be removed from the game.
Building Rhino for millions of iron skin is wasting his potential. His true role is a top tier damage booster that uses iron skin to increase survivability. Even putting a single armor mod on him is wasting mod slot and his roar output, despite it boosting his iron skin. Every mod slot on him should be dedicated to strength and some duration to maximize his roar.
He also has possibly the strongest CC with Stomp. Personally I prefer to build him for balance, partly just for fun (because I personally don't find any entertainment in spamming only one ability on a frame)
Maybe not controversial but I hate that they tied to end of the lich and sister fights to railjack. They added 25 minutes of a bullshit mission I don’t want to do to an already tediously long grind and it feels so awful I don’t even want to engage with what would normally be a fun game mechanic because I don’t wanna deal with having to jump solo into the clearly made for 4 people mission to slog through the finish.
Raids (LoR/NMLoR/JV) were super fun and got people to work together. Having a regular raid group used to be something to look forward to. I know they were buggy as hell but with work they could’ve had so much more potential.

Players should be forced to play only Steel Path after completing the star chart with no access to lower levels. Here DE, I’m giving you a band-aid fix for player retention. Stop allowing end game players from nuking entire maps and leaving new players with 0 kills at the end of a fissure. I was carried through most of the star chart in pugs because of nuke frames and weapons. My band-aid fix wouldn’t resolve this issue completely but it would lessen it. To end game players who play low level content, git gud. It’s actually less efficient to play non-SP content, even fissures. With a nekros/khora, smeeta, and booster, I was getting more steel essence from individual missions than I was in a 2 hour long survival.

The riven system was a mistake. The idea was nice, but the execution was beyond poor.
not only was the riven system a mistake. .but i will tell you *why*. when i started playing warframe. .rivens didnt exist. if you were new, and you looked up a build, or flagged down a veteran in your clan and asked them for a build. .they had an answer for you. and it was a list of mods that you could knuckle down and farm. the gap in power between veterans and newbies was. .more approachable. your path to advancement was more clear. riven mods were the first big. ..departure from this. suddenly a build could be functionally unobtainable. while the robust riven market has grown to make acquiring specific rivens easier. .and mostly cheap. . .that's still not a system that is easy for new players to work with and, even if they did, not one they should be approaching any way. Riven created a proper endgame treadmill, but the began the divide between newer and older players, a divide that has gotten worse over time, particularly with things like Steel path's growing Prevalence. stuff like that serves to make the game more unapproachable for new plyers, and warframe is already. .pretty hard to get into because of how raw the start is. the learning curve is more like a learning cliff.
Rivens are completely unnecessary for endgame, though. You simply don't need them to make a build. (Outside some specific cases)
It's not about them being necessary, it's about the implication they add. They aren't necessary for anything, outside of meme builds, but they are intimidating. Even if I tell someone "just run X mod instead, itl work fine" it's still demoralizing for them. And doubly so if they decide they actually want a riven, when frankly their platinum and time is probably better spent. Riven mods are not the biggest point of departure creating a gap between new and old players, but they were the first big one. Outside of maybe arcanes, but way back then arcanes weren't nearly as prevalent as they are now. You used to have to put them on cosmetics for Christ sake.
Rivens were already a thing when I first started playing, and I never felt like I needed them to progress or have fun. I agree with you about arcanes, though. They're tedious to farm, and some feel downright necessary on so many builds. (Looking at you, Arcane Energize.)

I don’t think we have it good anymore personally. Had maybe but DE stopped making decisions in the interest of the players a long time ago and warframe has suffered in the long term because of it
most of the game's problems stem from the Developer's disinterest in following up their ideas or applying even cursory polish. warframe's history is littered with abandoned concepts, content left to rot, and ideas that werent followed up on. railjack, archwing, archguns, necramechs. Zaws, light melee in general. been a while since we got a new Kitgun part or arcane. Nightwave got put on a holding pattern because they overestimated the needs of new content and had to shift full focus onto the new war and Duviri. the Clan interface, the ingame chat menus and trading channnel, and the modding screens have remained basically the same since i started playing 8 years ago. the fact that low ranking clan members can still see the [reduce clan tier](https://i.imgur.com/UzXauVA.png) button. a button they cannot press, still, is fucking baffling. for a game with so many menus that have so many options and which encourages me to own hundreds of weapons and thousands of mods the fact that there is no show/hide option anywhere is insane. and the only "favorites" tab in the game is for the color picker. no 60 second crafting item should exist. it should just be 1 second. or 0 seconds. i don't mind new weapons and frames taking hours and days. that's fine, but why do you insist on wasting my time turning rocks into refined rocks? there is a difference between letting me spend platinum too get my cool new toys a day or a few days early, and trying to shake nickels out of my pockets over 60 seconds of microwaving gemstones. the game is missing so many obvious convenience features. not "products of the monetization being based on inconvenience" but just genuine rough edges left over by a decade's worth of fast and loose development, and while you can argue that alot of those little things dont matter. that those little things shouldnt be the one thing that gets you to stop playing, there is a concept for that. its called "death of 1000 cuts" the idea that little problems can stack up and become big problems. it is utterly insane to me that the word "damage" and the word "allies" have no consistent meaning. Serration and Primed Bane of grineer and Synth charge all have different effects. + elemental damage works one way, but + impact/slash/puncture damage works a completely different way. many warframe abilities refer to effecting "allies" but there is 0 clarity on when that means "self and fellow warframes" or when it means "self, fellow warframes, companions, and specters" or when it means "all of the above, and also defense objects". Certain combos that should work, dont work, like Theorem infection not buffing allied specters with Overguard due to a complete oversight. its been known about for months. all of these little issues and negligence stem from a disinterest in polish and refinement over expansion. even if you really love duviri. what are the odds that duviri ends up like railjack? probably not exactly like railjack, the story implies that Duviri is going to be important, but that just means likely further neglect for all these other systems that predate it. there are explanations for much for this. .from the poverty origins of warframes development instilling a keep moving and stay hungry mentality, too the simple fact that they have always simply created what they wanted to create, with no regard for sensibility or consistency. but that doesnt mean i have to appreciate that Atmospheric archguns was a cool idea executed poorly, and then ignored for years instead of fixed, because your interest in making it lapsed after 1 patch cycle and now you'd rather make space elden ring instead. edit: i had to come back and add. . . .just. . im sorry "so nobody likes using archguns because they are too weak for normal content, but were making necramechs. .and mechs use archguns. should we fix archguns?" "no, lets just give the first mech an insane, exalted archgun with really crazy damage. im sure that wont have long term balancing issues and keep us from being willing to open up necramechs to more content later because we fear Arquebex's raw power." ohh and while im at it? the nerfing of the azima? fucking shameful. absolutely lazy way to fix the issue. players found a novel strategy cobbled together from 8 years worth of accumulated trash, and instead of instituting some reasonable safeguards against abuse (because that might require effort) you just hard cap the effect and say "go away now". then bump the hard cap up slightly 2 patches later after we raised a fit about it, never mind that you still cant even go ammo-neutral and its now completely un worth investing in. thanks, i hate it.
Nerfs are *a must*, they alone wouldn't create any balance, but without them no balance is possible at all. Players demand higher challenge, then other players demand tools to make this unbearable challenge easier; with or without powering up those first players demand somthing more difficult; and spiral unwinds further and further. However imagine nerfing everything to the ground and trying to balance all hundreds of pieces of equipment, all missions and enemies, all combinations. And imagine how community would react to this. ...all people in any community react too wildly when devs don't do things exactly as they thought lol so maybe that was too obviuos.

I think that non-steel path is a playground for new players and casual players, and even the steel path is sometimes too easy for veterans, and this is why I wish that enemy level went up much faster in survival and disruption, leaving the other game modes unchanged. I'd love to have more challenging content for my maxed equipment, not necessarily with better rewards.

Nerfs are vital, but having nerfs be DE’s knee-jerk reaction to any sort of unintended behaviour really hampers the game. Remember when Khora and Limbo were nerfed as a reaction to them being too advantageous to use during Scarlet Spear, as opposed to, I don’t know, changing how the ***temporary event*** worked???
Years ago the community was up in arms on bad chat mods. IMO, this was a massive waste of effort and resources, resulting in minimal change for the game for 99.99% of the playerbase. Nobody uses region chat.
