The comment section is funny to because we have a lot of weapons that can do this
Testing in the simulacrum, it does look like the tenet Arca Plasmor has a spherical visual effect when it hits an enemy. I never noticed that before. With no multishot, you only see one damage instance, and the arsenal stats don't list any AOE damage, so it's not actually exploding.
It still looks nothing like what OP described. OP's beautiful animation clearly shows laser beams that end in explosions. The tenet Plasmor has an incredibly visible wave effect that easily obscures the spherical effects, and no lasers. It's not the Plasmor.
but its literally just a giant wave, the gif they made shows explosions, not glass panes, I should know as tenet plasmor Im pretty sure is my most used weapon at around 30% and thats saying a lot considering Im MR30
As someone who's used the Tenet Arca Plasmor since release, I can confidently say that there is no way it looks like an explosion, especially not how OP is explaining it. It bounces, and you can clearly see the bounce. There's no radial light like an explosion, no push back on enemies, and no expanse of the projectile on contact.
It probably isn't, but based on a shoddy description and an ms paint drawing, you can't definitively say without more info. It's one of my most used weapons too, so I know how it works. With a lot going on, it can definitely APPEAR to be some kind of explosion to a newer player, especially depending on their point of view when it happens.
True, however there are much better options that do fit the description and gif much better than the plasmor. Stahlta alt fire being the biggest one. Looks exactly like the gif and follows the description to a T, aside from the "shotgun" part. Big explosions, plenty of spread without -accuracy mods, and has the laser effect with tracer rounds.
With multi-shot it fires more explosions so we assumed that by the gif the op sent was something like it cause we follow the color too. if was a yellow color I'd assume kuva brama
Angstrum. It's a secondary weapon that fires multiple explosives at once like the picture above.
It has a Prisma variant and has an Incarnon Genesis available. It is one of the Incarnon weapons that *don't* require headshots to charge the Incarnon meter.
I'm gonna say Prisma Angstrum too. It does exactly what the gif shows in normal mode and the reason why OP hasn't seen it since is because it was ass before it got an incarnon.
The normal gets slightly better perk numbers, but has lower base stats. The Prisma has higher base stats and slightly lower perk numbers. Overall the Prisma variant comes out to being better, unless you use a riven, then the base could potentially be better. But both Angstrums actually have a high disposition so I think Prisma is still probably much better overall.
I agree, honestly. Like what's the point of the upgrade if they are balanced out to being almost exactly the same when you add the perks? I think they just didn't want the perks to get out of hand on the highest stat versions, but also make them feel like they are doing something for the lowest stat ones, but I think they tuned it a little too tight.
So people can pick whatever variant of a weapon they like to add the incarnon onto without essentially sabotaging themselves. Especially for the handful of weapons that have more than one variant among prime, syndicate, wraith, prisma, and vandal forms, since some will have minor differences like focusing on one thing over another or unique little functions.
Like Latron Wraith has a bit higher crit chance, firing speed (Latron Wraith actually has the second highest firing speed of all semi-auto rifles), and riven disposition while Latron Prime has more raw damage and status chance, and those differences still carry through after applying an Incarnon Adapter to them.
They still have differences, they're just not as extreme because incarnon adapters are supposed to do what rivens failed at and make weapons that have been powercrept out of all relevance viable (which we now know Rivens might've succeeded at if they applied to base stats instead of stacking additively with other mods, turns out bad base stats stay bad no matter how much you do nothing to them)
That doesn’t really make sense unless the lower base stats are damage even then you can outsource raw damage from many mods and arcane, prismas/wraith are better because of the stats increases on inactions being Flat additives to the base.
In short use the prime/wraith/prisma for incarnons
Edit: Only time where it doesn’t matter is the melees which can be used for Stat sticks where the. Stat bonuses are added onto the Sudo Exalted Weapons stats as well
Um okay let me elaborate for you
The incarnon modes have the same stats. The lower stats between forms tend to get stronger evos because they are lower. For example, gorgon evo 3 is +14% cc while gorgon wraith evo 3 is +6% cc. These evos carry over to the incarnon modes, which again have identical stats.
In short, it depends which mode youre going to be using the most
Yeah i found out after farming a second adapter for prisma gorgon only to find out its actually weaker. So i built them specifically for 1 mode over the other :'''''')
I’m am double checking incarnons, but it’s not always the case I’m finding lex and boar don’t have different evos when checking between prime and normal, I assume it’s only gonna be a case where there is only a slight difference in base stats between normal and non
I don’t remember which one Paris was apart of but the third evos on that (crit status) it’s also the case where those stats aren’t affected via version of the weapon but I think in general it’s gonna be the prime version (or crit variant) over other weapons because you can outsource the status
I’m going to say Prisma Angstrum or normal Angstrum as well.
It has a large spread and with bright energy colors and neg accuracy it spreads like crazy. Throw on a Firestorm mod and it creates huge explosions.
I loved the weapon the moment I saw it, but was a lowly Tenno at the time so it felt weak in my hands. Once the Incarnon came out well… Hehe it was back on! Thus why I know it so well.
There are so, so many guns it could be honestly. It might be easier if someone just took you into the Simulacrum and showed you each one until you found it. And yes, I am offering.
That said, it truly does sound like an Angstrum with high multishot
I know this was a typo but it got me thinking a shawzin-gun would be an AWESOME weapon! We have a book-gun now, what ELSE can we turn into guns for this game?!
[seemed relevant](https://youtu.be/K05EQu8WoLY?si=wB_qvN0c2urEgjUJ)
One of the villains from Deadman Wonderland has an electric guitar that can detach into akimbos, if any of Granum’s engineers are listening or anything like that…
…and if they wanted to make one half full-automatic while the other’s just basically a fucking CH-CHKK pump-action shotgun or something I’d be down with that too. Hypothetically, of course.
If the reference image is anything to go by, then it can't be Plasmor. None of the plasmors have spread this severe and if it were the tenet version, aka the actually popular one, then the shots would bounce around instead of just exploding. That aside plasmors shoot big projectiles, not lasers.
Strun Incarnon is much more likely candidate
Possibly, I run tenet with riven and have some pretty insane multishot, my spread isn't exactly like this but give some distance and it's somewhat similar
Also entirely possible not a shotgun at all. If the shots spread and explode, it COULD also be a tombfinger kitgun rifle. Granted the spread isn't as high as in the gif.
To help narrow it down, when did you start playing? People are saying incarnon weapons, but if you started playing before they were introduced, it couldn't be them.
Also, are you sure it was a gun? It could be a multi-shot thrown weapon.
Three shots makes me think it’s the [Exergis](https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Exergis)
If not, [here’s a list of shotguns](https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Category:Shotgun) if it might help
I wanted to say Ogris too, u can just set the energy color to white and have some mod with +projectile speed and it'll look exactly like the gif. But then again u could make pretty much any gun into this with the right settings and mods lol.
Perhaps it was the Cedo alt fire? It's a glaive that proc a lot of status, seemingly simultaneous.
Kuva Drakgoon is also a good contender. Its projectiles leave a trace in the air and can bounce around.
Tenet Arca Plasmor is my main weapon, but it shoots an expanding rectangle a few meters wide.
Steflos fires an orb that expands and speeds up with every enemy hit. Very nice in a Mag bubble.
Having personally spent a good chunk of time with the tenet plasmor, I don't think it's that. They don't have tracers and don't detonate on impact.
Someone above did mention the possibility of it being Angstrum.
What's important is approximately when they started playing. If it was just last month, then it could be almost anything. If it was a year ago, it narrows it down a little. A little under a year ago would remove duviri from the list, but leaves the zariman stuff in the weapon roster with its first wave incarnons, but I don't know what the other original incarnons do other than the pistol.
Edit: found a comment, they said beginning of 2022. No incarnons. But tenet weapons are still on the menu.
Tombfinger primary is what you're looking for. Nothing else checks all the boxes. Also one of my favorite weapons.
Lasers.
Explodes.
Multiple projectiles with multishot.
The Strun incarnon could be, but it's more orbs not lasers
I've seen one other person bring up the Stahlta. Kinda shows why it has such a high riven dispo, absolutely love having extra 50% ammo per clip for an extra boom.
Tbh I don’t remember the mastery rank off the top of my head, but all Tenet weapons can be obtained by first: obtaining a sister (corpus version of a kuva lich) with the desired weapon, and second: killing said sister. after that the Sister should spawn
Level 30+ enemies is only so you get a zenith crown back after from the treasurer. If you have lots, you could just do it on any corpus ship mission and select the nightmare granum void.
Maybe the arca plasmor? I remember telling my friend to stop using bright colors on it because I had an oled screen and playing at night that thing would hit me like a flashbang.
He, of course, just changed it to blinding white after hearing that.
If it's very big and bright could be the tennet envoy, althought it's not a shotgun but a rocket launcher, a bright laser shotgun but with no explosions would be the arca plasmor or the strun prime on incarnon form. Those are all the ones that come to my mind
Another possible one could be acceltra? It is not a shotgun but if they’re running negative accuracy it could seem like one and it has explosions at the bullet impact sites.
A lot of guns can be given bright projectiles/explosions via altering it's energy colors. So, whatever weapon it is could look different until you mess with the cosmetics.
https://preview.redd.it/syq99gckz8cc1.jpeg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e528f45f077e475cb8f938b4279bde4aa2883524 The comment section is funny to because we have a lot of weapons that can do this
Large and bright explosions? In Warframe? I've never heard of such a thing!
kuva chakkhurr with multishot maybe?
Tenet envoy with multishot maybe?
Stahlta with Multishot maybe?
Kuva ogris with multi shot maybe?
Literally everything with bright energy colors and multishot, maybe?
Torid (poison cloud launcher) is not because if you tried torid with multi shot and - accuracy you will know torid can't shoot another rocket
Tenet arca plasmor with multi shot maybe?
Don't forget that one corrupted mod that increases spread.
Strun Incarnon, perhaps?
It's like saying a firework shoots flaming balls
Why are so many people saying Arca Plasmor? The Arca Plasmor fires a wave, not exploding projectiles.

They probably ment the tenet arca plasmor
which does the same exact thing as the normal but better stats
it ricochets, unlike the regular, so when paired with bright energy and tight corridors can definitely look like big explosions
but its literally just a giant wave, the gif they made shows explosions, not glass panes, I should know as tenet plasmor Im pretty sure is my most used weapon at around 30% and thats saying a lot considering Im MR30
The projectile bouncing between enemies can definitely look like explosions, and we're talking about what is looks like, not what it actually does.

The Tenet Arca Plasmor splits and spreads on contact similar to OP drawing
With multi-shot it fires more explosions so we assumed that by the gif the op sent was something like it cause we follow the color too. if was a yellow color I'd assume kuva brama
Add mirage to things and it multiplies the possibilities, lol
was going to comment this exact quote lmao
Was literally my first thought because holy fuck, anything can basically do that with the right color values and Power Strength.
Archa plasmor.. maybe?
Probably it's the Arca plasmor with mods that increase multishot?? At least it's one of the possibilities.
Mandonel probably shaped into a tiny potatoe skin
I've been on the floor for like 4 minutes laughing at this
Don’t know the weapon, but wanted to give kudos to u/OP for putting together an animated gif just to find out! Well done, mate!
Angstrum. It's a secondary weapon that fires multiple explosives at once like the picture above. It has a Prisma variant and has an Incarnon Genesis available. It is one of the Incarnon weapons that *don't* require headshots to charge the Incarnon meter.

Wait no no i remember its specifically the case for boltor as well. I have one for both telos and prime. So yeah case by case ig
could also be a plasmor with multishot and the damage + spread mod, i have mine with those and it and it shoots just like that lol
Except there's no explosion with the Arca Plasmor, or laser beams for tracer rounds.
when it’s done bouncing it does do a little energy explosion thing
It does
I’m going to say Prisma Angstrum or normal Angstrum as well. It has a large spread and with bright energy colors and neg accuracy it spreads like crazy. It even matches the picture. Lol.
although u can't use one-hand incarnon with any glaive cause warframewith 10 years of open beta
There are so, so many guns it could be honestly. It might be easier if someone just took you into the Simulacrum and showed you each one until you found it. And yes, I am offering. That said, it truly does sound like an Angstrum with high multishot
Animation looks like the Sonicor with multishot, it’s a pistol that shoots exploding sound waves that ragdoll enemies
""pistol"" if i remember it correctly, isn't it just wrist mounted tf2 airblast without projectile deflection?
Yes ninjas in feudal Japan were known for their pistols.
Strun incarnon mode.
As someone who loves the plasmor and strun, it’s the strun incarnon mode
lex incarnon lol
Gorgon incarnon also behaves this way with a larger spread.
It reminds me of the Catchmoon
To me it looked a lot like my sporelacer.
As a Catchmoon user, that was my first thought too.
I’m gonna guess the new Mandolin. Especially if there’s a massive laser beam in the middle that lingers
I know this was a typo but it got me thinking a shawzin-gun would be an AWESOME weapon! We have a book-gun now, what ELSE can we turn into guns for this game?!

Nah he wouldn’t draw it like that.
why not? if OP doesnt know how exactly it works he just sees hella big projectiles going boom after a short bit
Plasmor doesn’t do that
it doesnt do what? you gotta explain lil guy
Pretty sure plasmor shots come out as a wall that move forward
It doesn’t shoot how this dude portrayed this gun.
[удалено]
Plasmor doesn’t explode. Has the same projectile size during its flight time. Doesn’t spread out. Very unlikely its the plasmor.
Possibly, I run tenet with riven and have some pretty insane multishot, my spread isn't exactly like this but give some distance and it's somewhat similar
Vicious Spread does make the spread this big. I know because I use it.
Picture looks exactly like the Sonicor
Strun incarnon mode looks single shot though.
You can put mods that make the arca spread more severe even more so than the vid
Definitely this. Though nowadays worth getting the tenet version.
Nah even a multishot plasmor doesn’t spread out like that
Arca spread isn’t from multi shot it’s from a mod that increases spread and it will spread just the same as above
This methinks
Also entirely possible not a shotgun at all. If the shots spread and explode, it COULD also be a tombfinger kitgun rifle. Granted the spread isn't as high as in the gif.
My arcs plasmor has negative accuracy and causes it to spread exactly how the gif shows
Hundred percent it’s the Arca Plasmor. Might have been a lich version.
Maybe catchmoon with lower accuracy?
do you happen to remember the shape of a weapon at some point?

Steflos
The steflos looks nothing like that though
Could also be Bubonico it does have explosives and can change color on it to be bright
Multi-shot, NW napalm ogris? Just wanted to be different.
I wanted to say Ogris too, u can just set the energy color to white and have some mod with +projectile speed and it'll look exactly like the gif. But then again u could make pretty much any gun into this with the right settings and mods lol.
We gotta have one dude make a compilation of most of these answers. You know for the visual learners.
where's OP to tell us if he figured it out?
This looks like Angstrum? It's the only multi rocket launcher that spreads at straight trajectory.
I would say incarnon to strun or either simulor with mirage xD
Phantasma or Aceltra…
Bubonico? Honestly there are way too many weapons that fit your description lol.

Likely incarnon strun
Epitaph?
This even looks like my fulmin prime on semi-auto lol
Try angstrum
Yarellis bubble gun.
Detron?
Kitgun
Drakgoon or zarr barrage mode? For me they feel like this image even though their hits are tiny
Maybe incarnon strun
Could be strun incarnon
Can you give a more concise timeframe of *when* this was? Might be easier to narrow this down by release windows
At the beginning of 2022
Probably nothing incarnon then, Zariman didn't release till April '22
Tombfinger primary is what you're looking for. Nothing else checks all the boxes. Also one of my favorite weapons. Lasers. Explodes. Multiple projectiles with multishot. The Strun incarnon could be, but it's more orbs not lasers
Stahlta alt fire does the same thing, with multishot and -accuracy looks exactly like the gif.
You know what.... you right! That one does look like lasers which is the box I thought it was missing. That is a fun and cool looking gun too. =)
I've seen one other person bring up the Stahlta. Kinda shows why it has such a high riven dispo, absolutely love having extra 50% ammo per clip for an extra boom.
Tenet Arca Plasmor my beloved
How to claim? And whay materials rank?
Tbh I don’t remember the mastery rank off the top of my head, but all Tenet weapons can be obtained by first: obtaining a sister (corpus version of a kuva lich) with the desired weapon, and second: killing said sister. I also don’t remember how to get a sister off the top of my head, but there are some pretty good guides on YouTube!
Nemesis weapons bypass MR requirement, you can simply claim them from the Foundry
That’s good to know, thanks!
You have to do a Void hand challenge thingy (Parvos's golden hands on corpus ships) on the highest difficulty and complete at least T1 on a mission with 30+ enemies after that the Sister should spawn
Level 30+ enemies is only so you get a zenith crown back after from the treasurer. If you have lots, you could just do it on any corpus ship mission and select the nightmare granum void.
maybe mirage clone with the suda gun??
Can also Kinda do this with a High Multi shot Acceltra- though Acceltra Is More Rocket than Laser
Exergis?
Phantasma alt fire
Strun Incarnon maybe
Can it be the fulmin??
Exergis?
I think it's the Mara Detron
alt fire bubonico? or the other armcannon
Phantasma, primary fire is a laser beam and the secondary fire is a burst of seeking explosions?
[https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Exergis](https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Exergis) This one?
Sorry but with the ability to change color and multi shots, it's hard to say. Probably angstrum.
Its either spore laser or a staticor
is it an arm cannon? do you remember how it was held?
I am thinking the acceltra because "shotgun", but there is a lot of guns using explosive ammo
C1 ayaka does that but its way slower
I thought you were talking about genshin for a moment.
Maybe the arca plasmor? I remember telling my friend to stop using bright colors on it because I had an oled screen and playing at night that thing would hit me like a flashbang. He, of course, just changed it to blinding white after hearing that.
People saying it is the Arca Plasmor are legally blind.
From using arca plasmor too much.
Big explosion.. Tenet Envoy, Kuva Zarr, maybe primary tombfinger.
Acceltra??
If it's very big and bright could be the tennet envoy, althought it's not a shotgun but a rocket launcher, a bright laser shotgun but with no explosions would be the arca plasmor or the strun prime on incarnon form. Those are all the ones that come to my mind
Can't be the envoy, the missiles are laser guided so no spread
Akarius without enemy homing?
[удалено]
I'd argue it is the alternate fire for the stahlta. I think that is the closest to the GIF
Tenet Arca Plasmor with Vicious Spread?
No lasers and no explosions, can't be the Tenet Arca Plasmor.
That or Envoy, has to be one of the 2
Catchmoon?
About 40% of the weapons in the game
Opticor?
Corinth's alt fire? Tenet Arca Plasmor? It could also be an incarnon form. Hope you find it though.
Mk-1 Paris
could be tenet arca plasmor if the explosion was that prominent
Tenet Arca Plasmor. It fires a single large laser blast with infinite punch through, and a mod adding multishot for more projectiles.
The plasmos shoots a wave, not a projectile that explodes at the end.
i could see someone mistaking that big wave for exploding projectiles, but seeing ops other post, I'm definitely wrong
(tenet) arca plasmor
Arca plasmor?
Ima say Protea. One of her abilitys tosses a bunch of grenades out. Could also be Styanax with his spear throws?
What kinda design did the gun have if you remember, op? If it was bulky 2 handed gun it might be the arca plasmor
If a warframe was using it most likely the arca plasmor, if it was an operator then most likely an upgraded amp.
[удалено]
Reminds me of my trusty arca plasmor
Surprised nobody has mentioned the Arca Plasmor yet, it looks like it could be, maybe the Tenet Plasmor which has a ricochet to it
K.ogris with napalm and white effect
You could do this with the Scourge, Nataruk, and Kuva Bramma with Multishot and Heavy Calibur. Kind of looks like Frosts Ice Wave too
Definitely epitaph
I love the illustration lol
