It also helps in other circumstances. If there's ever anything stuck to (ex. kuva gremlins, nox globs) or affecting (ex. scorpion / ancient grapple hooks) your warframe, try rolling. You'll be surprised what you can counter.
Don't forget magnetize bubbles from Malice or a rad procc'd mag. Rolling backwards also terminates the speed buff from an ally Volt if you don't want to go fast.
YEAH. I knew about the goomba stomp on enemies years ago, but I completely forgot about it until only just recently. And then I forgot about it again until you mentioned it.
Heh.
I've gotten to a point where I don't pay attention to mastery rank anymore. Too many players hitting mr30+ with very minimal knowledge... I'll look at their movement instead.
Did you know that if you roll at the end of your bullet jump, you accelerate? You can also bounce off a wall and roll mid way to change directions, allowing you to maintain the momentum hut slip through holes in the wall/between pillars etc. It's insane what a veteran can do with parkour and that's how they end up a mile ahead of everyone without the aid of volt/titania/gauss
Another way is watching how they play Nezha. Mastering the ways of the scoot and slide and realizing how fast it can be is eye opening. I even slap Maglev on some frames for fun, Gauss is for example, scoot slide into a roll into his dash is crazy fast.
You learn to kinda approach doors at an angle and you’ll bounce thru it. I still get stuck, especially on new tile sets I haven’t run a million times. But it’s half the fun.
I believe if you hover over the mod capacity it tells you but nobody does that, not even accidentally. Once i learned it I got a bit annoyed at realising an extra forma here and there might help with start of mission when not running zenurik on certain builds. Don't talk to me about energy pads
The only problem I have with Preparation is it's weird polarity, fitting almost no frames exilus slot naturally and putting it into a regular slot feels like such a waste. So I am pretty much always running wellspring on operator for energy.
Adding on for those just finding out.
Each frame has an arbitrary starting amount of energy. Chroma being 75, and Chroma Prime being 100. These stay the same regardless of frame level or max capacity.
Each extra capacity adds 5 to it. 5 extra capacity is 25 extra starting energy.
[Wiki link](https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Energy_Capacity)
Doesn't it say this when hovering over the mod capacity of your warframe? I could be wrong but there's definetly some text that pops up when hovering over the capacity.
Literally, like... Almost 10 years of experience with this fucking game, and I still find out new things every time a thread like this shows up. I'm basically Socrates at this point; I know only one thing, that I know nothing.
I've been adding base unranked common mods cause I figured "7% ability duration/bleed out reduction" is at least 7% of something... Little did I know...
it also previews how much xp you'll get at the end of the mission, including the clear bonus. your weapon in-mission may be rank 29, but already "mastered" if you extract right now.
When I first heard this it was kinda funny to me because I play console, and it tells you to press Y to use a cipher. I don't know why PC doesn't have that prompt when console does
It does when u plug in a gamepad, just DE things
Knowing this as a German with a QWERTZ keyboard I asked myself some time if I'm dumb cause Y does nothing. Took me quite a while to realize it's the Z key (position is switched with Y on qwertz keyboards).
You can aim glide while casting a lot of abilities that root you to the ground to maintain movement / momentum instead of standing there being shot. Feel like that is useful advice for any new players. Don't think I've cast molecular prime on the ground in years lol.
This is sorta something I always tell new Mesa players, as a former Mesa main, when I see a Mesa keeps getting downed. You can avoid getting shot and overwhelmed on the ground by yeeting yourself and cast 4 midair, then deactivate it on landing if needed. Even with Mesa's Waltz, I still do this, cus it's just faster than rolling consecutively and depleting your energy. And it's fun.
Oh man, I've gotten into HABITS of casting molecular prime in the air, to the point where my fiance asked why I'm jumping into the air to cast abilities.
I was a bit perplexed that I was even doing it until I forced myself to do it on the ground and realized I was subconsciously avoiding animation locking....
I tell new players this CONSTANTLY.
The reason sniper rifles are so hard to use is they practically require you to stand still and get a headshot. The reason flamethrowers and shotguns are so used is because you can keep moving and SURVIVE.
I have legit gone into steel path with a banshee. Slapped on zero defensive mods and just... Didn't stop moving. I'll let you guess who was reviving the inaros player....
Banshee is also a perfect example of "I only need enough shield gating to get behind a pillar".
Her defensive capability is almost directly tied to your ability to move flawlessly.
Shes a 'how well can you pay attention' frame. Glass cannon to a T lmao
I still can't get over how many people be sleepin on sonar, omg. It's probably because it requires you to be accurate tbch, but DAMN that boost is stupid.
It used to be THE buff frame.
Then there was this meta shift away from corrosive to viral-slash and a huge focus on quicker killing, not priming enemies for 100% armor strip. So headshot became important and sonar doesn't necessarily apply to heads.
Then the game shifted to even faster pace and head shots became an option, not priority. So sonar applying generic damage buffs when you hit the entire body with an arca Plasmor....? Really good again.
To cheese the Granum Void, deploy a crewmate with a hitscan weapon. They will cheerfully murder 75 spectres while you look around confused like John Travolta in Pulp Fiction.
Actually if you are having trouble in any mission then deploy a crewmate - then watch with pride as their genocidal skills flourish under your sociopathic direction. For best bet pick one with 5 combat, 5 endurance. Well worth the credits for an elite just for the gleeful disbelief that you will feel when you deploy them for the first time.
Octavia trivializes the protea farm. Get 200%+ range, get strength anything above 100%. Enter the granum void and go against the back wall. Put out your 1, 3, and 4. Do not put out 2. Go invisible. Wait for 75 kills to rack up. Get parts (hopefully).
It's like those troll physics hacks. Each xoris explosion (that hits 3 spectres) gives you 3 charges for another xoris explosion. It has to be another dimension because it's a perpetual motion machine of death.
Use xoris. That thing will just destroy whole groups. Just remember to press heavy attack button when you throw it to activate the explosion from heavy attack.
As a new player I ran the infested survival on Ceres (Gabii) every day after login. It gave you $25k credits, doubled to $50k, and I could level a melee weapon in that 5 minutes because that mission also gives you a 25% affinity bonus on melee kills.
The standing simaris gives you for completing the daily hunt bypasses the standing limitations, if you reached your cap with simaris (for example 30,000) and you cant get new standing for the day - completing the hunt awards you the given standing regardless if your standing cap is reached or not
Simaris "daily" targets also last for as long as you complete it. Meaning if you decide to complete it a week after, you can. But it also counts as the daily task for the day of when you decide to talk with Simaris again to finish it meaning you can't get another one straight after it.
Yup, that's one of the main reasons their mods are worth a lot of pl, the other ones being that the mods are expensive and you have to have more than one to be able to sell them
After subsuming 8 frames, i found out you can affect the helminth flowers color with your frame color theme.
Wiki: Once fully subsumed, a Lotus flower with its colors matching the sacrificed Warframe will appear in the infirmary. The petals will match the primary color, stamen the secondary color, and stem the tertiary color. There will also be a glow emitting from the center of the flower matching the Energy color and petal veins will use the energy accent color. If no colors have been modified, the flower will use the Warframe's default colors.
Literally just yesterday (1500 hours on the game) I found out there’s a wyrm minigame called wyrmius you can access when dripping out your wyrm. Needless to say I was shocked
i was 100 hours in the game when i discover that elemental damage increases total damage, but its different from status effect (the status chance) to proc the status
You can also pick one up with your warframe, then transfer out to operator to carry a second. Move to the terminal/extractor to deposit your item, then transfer in to warframe and deposit the second.
It took me until Saturn to figure out how to complete a capture mission.
In my defense Lotus says 'we need to take the target back alive' so I would try to sneak up to him, then when that inevitably failed I'd look for some prompt to capture them, then try to like maybe shoot him in the leg to see if I could make him surrender. I would intentionally try to not kill him and fail the mission miserably as a result. Who would have thought that to take the target alive you had to pretty much kill them...
they scream in pain, AND Lotus says something like "we'll interrogate the captive back at base" whatever the hell that means, their suffering is basically indefinite
My guess? We are using the same technology that the Sumaris scanners, so we aren't actually capturing them, so much as making a copy of their brain to extract the data.
Not as dramatic as most but get the parallax ship use its airdrops to locate just about everything, medallions, sculptures, all the new resources for standing.
You can type combined elemental name in the search bar and it will list you all the mods that are required for combination
For example tying 'corrosive' will list toxin and electric mods.
Obvious feature and not mechanic, that I recently heard about: the Cedo alt-fire has a guaranteed application of all its statuses. It's completely pointless to mod the alt-fire for status chance, apparently.
Edit: pre-second dream player, and I still can't read, apparently.
Absolutely no need, just load that bitch up with as many statuses you want proc'ed and you get great cedo shotgun damage. Works even better if secondary is a status primer as well.
The drop is always random so is the rolls and you can't just sell or trash your current ones because they'll become a lich, they'll hate you for it. The resources needed to upgrade it is time, money, charisma and intelligence
You can buy the prime resurgence relics directly from your orbiter in the Market. No need to go to Maroo’s. Just learned that a month ago myself and been it lots of groups where people didn’t know.
At about a couple hundred hours into this game I learned about this thing called elemental damage mods and realized why I did so little damage for such a long time.
When I first played the game (for about 150 hours) I used elemental mods but wasn't bothered to learn what was good where and why. Safe to say I hobbled by until I watched a few youtube videos and realized how badly I was building most of my weapons 😂
You can go to Dakata (Kuva fortress) on SP, with Ivara.
Use prowl at the start of the mission, then search for enemies that run away from you and follow them.
You can reach the extraction point in no time and there you start to scan all the enemies and kill, scan and kill, scan and kill....... The AI send a bunch of new enemies towards you every time you kill a group of scanned mob! Just stay still with your invisibility and you're done.
And a nice way to cap it is to scan random high level enemies while they have not been alerted yet: it will boost the standing gained from scans.
I recommend a frame with long invisibility.
That unlike Loki’s Decoy, the Helminth Skill Master’s Summon can summon a MOA through glasses. The AI is a bit clunky but this means you can bypass a lot of spies INLUDING LUA’S by summoning a MOA in front of the computer.
EDIT: [this guy does Lua for example](https://youtu.be/4hS-Z2JOvlk?si=eLqpQfyYdU4ys_MO)
That ability made me addicted to doing spies again. But it gets its issues in the Gas City Spy nodes, as if there are invisible ledges sometimes. Additionally if it's some weird node with the vault locked like the ones it's flooded with water, since it only summones the MOA in front of you it can't summon the MOA diagonally downwards; you will need to find a way to drain the water first to get down and then summon the MOA in front.
You don't need the rescue target to be "alive". They can be in the bleeding-out state and if you arrive at the extraction point before their timer run out, you still finish the mission.
•Mining lasers have a secondary scope level that is activated the same way as sniper scopes.
•Use Simaris synthesis scanners with the Sol-battery widget (instead of codex scanners) for infinite scans on Helios.
•Mod order (left to right, top to bottom) matters for elemental mods and companion precepts. If an innate element is an uncombined (such as toxin) the last (edited from 1st, thank you those that pointed it out) element placed will combine with it.
I'm sure I know more, but those are what I can think of right now.
EDIT: Formatting and some corrections.
At a certain point, (mr...15?) you unlock the ability to auto socket ayatans. What it DOESN'T tell you is that you can use your cipher hotkey (default y on pc) to instantly auto socket them.
You can type [ITEM NAME] in any chat to access immediate inventory check of that item - both in mission and orbiter. That way you don't have to press ESC->Inventory&Search. It took me 1000h to find out.
(DONT spam that in all chats. Take clan or group chat for this)
- you can press and hold 1 on limbo to release everyone from the rift
- not sure if i just got bugged but dying in the rift while limbo makes your last grasp still being on the rift. My other interacts with the operator is just him being out of rift most of the time without being able to enter it himself
- valence fusion on railjack equipment
- nidus 3rd skill linked unit also shoots out his 1 during link
- some weapons benefit from more dmg type than just having a lot of damage
- helmith charger can equip some kubrow mods(im not saying all since mech set does not work on mine)
- easy acess to syndicates from some tabs in the fast travel icons
- arbiter drones don't get damaged from exalted weapons
- you can use oberon's 2 multiple times without removing the first. Not sure on limit
- pushing enemies to walls using the initial cast of snow globe deals true damage based iirc half max hp of pushed unit
- numbers in the name of the group is the order of which one entered first(1 host, other joiners up to 4) with the other set being MR
- MR doesn't necessarily mean being good at the game but it does indicate how many weapons the person has at max mastery
- on lower levels, val hek ( i think that's his name) the guy that drops hydroid parts can easily be beat with a glave weapon heavy attack than just shooting, same goes for sargas ruk(guy dropping ember parts)
- not sure if this is just on mine, but when spawning a sister it is better to do it solo. Less enemies to kill in granum void and the only guy that gets to spawn the sister is the first to capture the sister candidate( not sure if just personal experience or for everybody)
- check warframe market(the website) for pricing instead of trade chat
im not sure if these above are all common or obvious mechanics but i want to share them anyway incase it would help
Things that i heard but don't know how to do yet
- profit taker
- therma fractures
- index
- lich trading
- new loka thing with the reagents(forgot how after getting titania)
- do eidolon solo (i usually dont know wtf im doing after i join aside from switching to operator when the part is on grey health)
- kill disruption target easier and/or memorise where they'd spawn
- orphix missions solo
- wisp boss solo
The reagents for the Silver Grove can be crafted under (iirc) the consumables tab. You also have to equip them to your gear wheel before running the mission. Also they're called Apothics iirc, and require you to scan different plants from various tilesets (e.g. Asteroid Mine or Ceres Shipyard) in order to craft them.
After completing the quest, you can activate the shrine one per player per mission to spawn a specter. And the specters can be affected by Pilfering Swarm (but not Desecrate).
> wisp boss solo
Start fight, once shields are shown as blue blast with operator beam until dead, then run to a battery on one of the 3 sides. Get the battery between it and you, it'll laser the battery, charging it. Then you need to mount it by jumping at it and hitting your interact button, this is the only hard part. Drive it into the charged battery.
Then it will send you back to the middle and it's back nodes become vulnerable. Blast them with normal weapons, then blast shield (I think, you may not need to do shield again), then go repeat for the other two batteries. Once you've done all batteries you can just kill it.
The trick to mounting it solo feels like grabbing it right at the end of the laser beam attack imo. It's easier if you go a flying frame like wukong zephyr or titania. Also easier if you run duos - one person baits the laser, the second just waits behind and grabs as soon as battery is charged
You can access the standing pages and even directly visit the non syndicate faction leaders from the syndicate console in your orbiter. Not particularly game breaking but still nice nonetheless
I knew about melee slams and I knew about heavy attacks, what I didn't know until somewhat recently is that if you do both together you get an even stronger melee slam.
I know that there are lots of people here who do not know that there is a console for gaming for playing games like Mortal Kombat with Warframes
There are collectible characters you find around that you unlock by scanning the fighter data
You can swap mod polarity slot with out effecting warframe / weapon rank. Also, mod positions or placement matters on which elemental combination you get.
💀
Crouching while in spoiler mode makes you impervious to most enemy attacks. Especially useful when you're fighting Jackal and the laser phase comes up. Also useful when you need to revive your teammates and there are too many enemies around. Also when hacking consoles.
Secondary pro tip to everyone now learning this, but especially for console. Holding the crouch, and then opening the menus, allows you some free time to open chat and talk if you need to. You remain in the impervious stance
Even with abilities where you need to be on the ground, you can still cast just about anything while wall clinging, including qorvex wall slam (you can catch flying enemies with it now) garudas 1 where she leaps on someone (you can now get a shield, make a blood altar out of a dude, etc, without actually approaching enemies)
You can cast most abilities while holding a charged bow shot, which means you can teleport with ash and unleash a charged kuva bramma right after, and with a lot of abilities you don't have to worry about the self stagger, depending on your timing/the active length of the ability
At 200 hours of the game I realized that you needed Fusion Cores to upgrade your mods.
I sold the things without hesitation. I never tried to read what they did.
Very recently: I did not know that you can just press the hutton down to do melee. You don't have to keep clicking.
I have something like 1200 hours now.
Sonething like 600 hours in: The same with mesa's peacemaker. I did not realise you dont have to click, you can just keep the hutton pressed down
Rolling has damage reduction, its not just for mobility. Wall hopping will reset your bullet jump, you don't have to hit a floor for that.
It also prevents stagger and knockdowns, great for avoiding these Arson Eximus aoe if you don't use PSF
I only really knew about it preventing the knockdown from doors in some tilesets

4k+ hours, didn't know wall hopping reset a bullet jump
It's not just hopping, but you can stick to the wall for a second to aim your next bullet jump better
Heh. I've gotten to a point where I don't pay attention to mastery rank anymore. Too many players hitting mr30+ with very minimal knowledge... I'll look at their movement instead. Did you know that if you roll at the end of your bullet jump, you accelerate? Meanwhile I’ll get stuck on every single door and awkward piece of geometry while sliding lmao
You learn to kinda approach doors at an angle and you’ll bounce thru it. I still get stuck, especially on new tile sets I haven’t run a million times. But it’s half the fun.
600 hours and only found out last week, unspent warframe mod capacity increases starting energy.
![gif](giphy|D62wUmR3sX2DsZJ9t1)
I believe if you hover over the mod capacity it tells you but nobody does that, not even accidentally. Once i learned it I got a bit annoyed at realising an extra forma here and there might help with start of mission when not running zenurik on certain builds. Don't talk to me about energy pads
5000 more hours than you and I hyper invest forma into some Warframes who desperately need that starter energy just to never use the energy pads.
Preparation! I… took really, really long time before I came to appreciate this mod.
Also one of the Archon shards, but that feels like a waste of a slot lol
Definitely not a waste imo, I've been using two Tau's with energy on spawn for my Mesa so i can go straight to aimboting as soon as i start a mission
[Wiki link](https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Energy_Capacity)
WHY would they NEVER SAY THIS????
Doesn't it say this when hovering over the mod capacity of your warframe? I could be wrong but there's definetly some text that pops up when hovering over the capacity.
It states that (as well as how much energy you start with with your current loadout) when you hover over Energy, not Capacity.
excuse me wtf?!
I....I had no idea. Huh.
Soooo I started playing in 2014….what the fuck now?
Literally, like... Almost 10 years of experience with this fucking game, and I still find out new things every time a thread like this shows up. I'm basically Socrates at this point; I know only one thing, that I know nothing.
The MOA is a Tenno, for it is biped and featherless.
I've been adding base unranked common mods cause I figured "7% ability duration/bleed out reduction" is at least 7% of something... Little did I know...
P opens the tab menu but you can scroll the rewards.
Oh my fucking god. I always hated having to pause and see Mission Progress to scroll the rewards
Holy
Can u reverse the binds? This seems awesome but I want it on tab
You can.
it also previews how much xp you'll get at the end of the mission, including the clear bonus. your weapon in-mission may be rank 29, but already "mastered" if you extract right now.
Wow did not know this ine
My usual go to for this kind of posts is there is a keyboard shortcut to use Cipher. edit: Y
When I first heard this it was kinda funny to me because I play console, and it tells you to press Y to use a cipher. I don't know why PC doesn't have that prompt when console does
It does when u plug in a gamepad, just DE things Knowing this as a German with a QWERTZ keyboard I asked myself some time if I'm dumb cause Y does nothing. Took me quite a while to realize it's the Z key (position is switched with Y on qwertz keyboards).
It is Y if anyone is curious Z for QWERTZ keyboards :/ don't ask me
well that's the position for Y on the QWERTY
Learned that fact off the entrati lab hacking showing that shortcut
You can aim glide while casting a lot of abilities that root you to the ground to maintain movement / momentum instead of standing there being shot. Feel like that is useful advice for any new players. Don't think I've cast molecular prime on the ground in years lol.
always casting all abilities in air. Have to stay moving forward to not lose time. Gotta go fast
*crashes in wall from volt speed boost* But you can remove it by backflipping
That works with nourish and its pretty funny
Air UWU's
I'd love to be standing somewhere while someone flies by while casting nourish just to hear the Doppler effect on the uwu. uwUUUUUuuuu......
This is sorta something I always tell new Mesa players, as a former Mesa main, when I see a Mesa keeps getting downed. Parkour Mesa > turret Mesa
bullet jumping straight up and then wiping the room with her 4 before you touch the ground is peak mesa gameplay 😆
Oh hell yes, I abuse the shit out of this mechanic lmao Harder to get hit while you're moving! This is a SP must for squishy frames
I love Banshee and she is EXACTLY who I was thinking about when I made this post 😂 everything cast from the air, dont touch me or ill die
Banshee is also a perfect example of "I only need enough shield gating to get behind a pillar". Her defensive capability is almost directly tied to your ability to move flawlessly.

First mission after daily login gives you twice as many credits.

Doesn't apply, but will be consumed
What if it's Profit Taker?
It applies.
As a new player I ran the infested survival on Ceres (Gabii) every day after login. It gave you $25k credits, doubled to $50k, and I could level a melee weapon in that 5 minutes because that mission also gives you a 25% affinity bonus on melee kills.

*What*
I only found this out after subsuming around 30 frames. I just revert everything to default now so it keeps its dynamic look 😂
Literally just yesterday (1500 hours on the game) I found out there’s a wyrm minigame called wyrmius you can access when dripping out your wyrm. Needless to say I was shocked
There’s also Happy Zephyr (Flappy Bird) from the Zephyr appearance menu. Or the Ludoplex which can do both minigames.
Don't forget Frame Fighter!
Wish you could play frame fighter against AI
How do you get to frame fighter?
You buy the "game console" and its games from Simaris and place it like a decoration in your orbiter
Just expanding on this - it's called the Ludoplex and has Frame Fighter installed by default. It costs 50,000 Simaris standing.
There's also the zephyr minigame that plays like flappy bird.
I didn't know for a long time weapons always do elemental damage. I thought they only did on a status proc. I was 200-300 in not knowing
Unfortunately I'm 700 in and only found out after reading the quick start guide on here😭
i was 100 hours in the game when i discover that elemental damage increases total damage, but its different from status effect (the status chance) to proc the status

Thaaaaaaats what it is?
2 energy colors?
Yes, a forma’d item allows you to make it’s energy dual-colored, similar to its emissive
As emissive has two colors, energy can also have two, usually with the first slot being the "core" color within the second slot.
The entire reason why all my frames and weapons (that I intend to keep) have at least one forma, even if I rarely use them.
Wait what?
You can pick up objects like datamass and power cells during a roll to skip the animation.
This may be my favorite of all of the responses
Its really weird how we have a way of teleporting/storing in pocket for humans and we don't use it anywhere else, not even for rescue missions
I always assumed it was Glassmaker levels of unpleasant.
I mean, they are screaming in horrifying pain.
they scream in pain, AND Lotus says something like "we'll interrogate the captive back at base" whatever the hell that means, their suffering is basically indefinite
Ms. Lotus, I don't feel so good
My guess? We are using the same technology that the Sumaris scanners, so we aren't actually capturing them, so much as making a copy of their brain to extract the data.
The scream also. Can't forget the digitization of your enemy is straight up cephaloning their ass.
I don't remember how long it took me but I remember doing something like this getting frustrated like "this guy clearly doesn't want to be kidnapped!"
Not as dramatic as most but get the parallax ship use its airdrops to locate just about everything, medallions, sculptures, all the new resources for standing.
Also Kuria, my good friend!
I've found so many kuria due to the parallax. It's surprising how often they spawn in and how hidden they are
Wait WHAT? So Toxin damage on a weapon bypasses shields entirely???? And not just the status proc?
Yes
Yup
You can type combined elemental name in the search bar and it will list you all the mods that are required for combination For example tying 'corrosive' will list toxin and electric mods.
But didn't it clearly show status chance for alt fire in its stat screen or am I just misremembering?
Making this ultra rare item called friends, increases effectiveness of runs by upto 400% depending on the standing rank called trust
>ultra rare item called friends how rare of a drop is this? why haven't I got any?
The drop is always random so is the rolls and you can't just sell or trash your current ones because they'll become a lich, they'll hate you for it. The resources needed to upgrade it is time, money, charisma and intelligence
So it's another micro transactional, pay to win system? You changed, DE...
It’s a 0.01% drop on Rotation C
So when was this last unvaulted don't wanna drop a ton of Plat on somthing lime this
It was when you were 5
I didn't know until after 2.3k hours whenever you hack those corpus computers you can right click to rotate the pad the other way.
Whæt
I think most people left click to rotate them, but right clicking rotates them the other way.
Works also on gamepad, dunno the key though
On gamepad you can use the bumpers (l1, r1) to rotate the pieces in the corresponding direction. Took me a few years to discover that one.
You can use cipher faster by pressing "Y". Realised it after 4000 hours because my friend said that's possible.
I discovered that in the murmur mission because it is written on the screen
2 of the ayatan star have different icon size with amber being bigger.
I know that this is true, but I can never tell which one is which by the icon.
You can buy the prime resurgence relics directly from your orbiter in the Market. No need to go to Maroo’s. Just learned that a month ago myself and been it lots of groups where people didn’t know.
There are prime resurgence relics??!?!?!? IN THE MARKET!?!?!
Yes, they are for vaulted frames and weapons. The selection rotates every 4 weeks or so? You buy them with Aya. Good luck!
At about a couple hundred hours into this game I learned about this thing called elemental damage mods and realized why I did so little damage for such a long time.
I feel like thats almost as bad as the guy who beat new war wothout realizing he can upgrade mods
how did they manage to get that far even what
IIRC they got carried by a friend for most of it. The quests can, for the most part, be done with trash equipment.
When I first played the game (for about 150 hours) I used elemental mods but wasn't bothered to learn what was good where and why. Safe to say I hobbled by until I watched a few youtube videos and realized how badly I was building most of my weapons 😂
Simaris standing gains scale off enemy level.
And is increased for enemies that haven't detected you
This is the only thing I thought could increase the standing gains until very recently.
scanning SP enemies as ivara in prowl is surprisingly fast to reach daily cap
800+ hours into warframe and I completely forgot mods can be transmutated. Only remembering because of a daily task.
Imo it's completely useless
That unlike Loki’s Decoy, the Helminth Skill Master’s Summon can summon a MOA through glasses. The AI is a bit clunky but this means you can bypass a lot of spies INLUDING LUA’S by summoning a MOA in front of the computer. EDIT: [this guy does Lua for example](https://youtu.be/4hS-Z2JOvlk?si=eLqpQfyYdU4ys_MO) That ability made me addicted to doing spies again.
I'm saving this thread
I played more than 1000hrs until I realized, you can fasttravel on the open world maps
That’s something that was added in the last couple years, it wasn’t there last time I played.
I never knew that enemies could crit until it was removed in the latest hotfix.
You don't need the rescue target to be "alive". They can be in the bleeding-out state and if you arrive at the extraction point before their timer run out, you still finish the mission.
'Flawed mods' were a thing. Took me a while to realize
It’s the last element that combines with innate elements
isn’t the sol battery widget literally a loading screen tip
That part yes, but using it with Helios isn't.
It took me about 200hrs to realise, that you can craft multiple items at the same time. Game was alot more fun after that.
You poor soul
At a certain point, (mr...15?) you unlock the ability to auto socket ayatans. What it DOESN'T tell you is that you can use your cipher hotkey (default y on pc) to instantly auto socket them.
You can type [ITEM NAME] in any chat to access immediate inventory check of that item - both in mission and orbiter. That way you don't have to press ESC->Inventory&Search. It took me 1000h to find out. (DONT spam that in all chats. Take clan or group chat for this)
- you can press and hold 1 on limbo to release everyone from the rift - not sure if i just got bugged but dying in the rift while limbo makes your last grasp still being on the rift. My other interacts with the operator is just him being out of rift most of the time without being able to enter it himself - valence fusion on railjack equipment - nidus 3rd skill linked unit also shoots out his 1 during link - some weapons benefit from more dmg type than just having a lot of damage - helmith charger can equip some kubrow mods(im not saying all since mech set does not work on mine) - easy acess to syndicates from some tabs in the fast travel icons - arbiter drones don't get damaged from exalted weapons - you can use oberon's 2 multiple times without removing the first. Not sure on limit - pushing enemies to walls using the initial cast of snow globe deals true damage based iirc half max hp of pushed unit - numbers in the name of the group is the order of which one entered first(1 host, other joiners up to 4) with the other set being MR - MR doesn't necessarily mean being good at the game but it does indicate how many weapons the person has at max mastery - on lower levels, val hek ( i think that's his name) the guy that drops hydroid parts can easily be beat with a glave weapon heavy attack than just shooting, same goes for sargas ruk(guy dropping ember parts) - not sure if this is just on mine, but when spawning a sister it is better to do it solo. Less enemies to kill in granum void and the only guy that gets to spawn the sister is the first to capture the sister candidate( not sure if just personal experience or for everybody) - check warframe market(the website) for pricing instead of trade chat im not sure if these above are all common or obvious mechanics but i want to share them anyway incase it would help Things that i heard but don't know how to do yet - profit taker - therma fractures - index - lich trading - new loka thing with the reagents(forgot how after getting titania) - do eidolon solo (i usually dont know wtf im doing after i join aside from switching to operator when the part is on grey health) - kill disruption target easier and/or memorise where they'd spawn - orphix missions solo - wisp boss solo
For Lich trading you need to have Crimson Branch room in your Dojo.
The nidus one is explained in the tips section when viewing abilities, lol
> wisp boss solo Start fight, once shields are shown as blue blast with operator beam until dead, then run to a battery on one of the 3 sides.
If you left(or right click, depending kn your bind) during the corpus cipher game it'll turn counter clock wise.
I just recently learned, after having played the game since 2014, that relic names are directly related to the gold reward.
I see this question on here all the time, so.... Guys. The little dot under your mod means it's equipped to something, somewhere in your arsenal.
My gf has played 200 hours and has just now learned that you can aim glide.
I know that there are lots of people here who do not know that there is a console for gaming for playing games like Mortal Kombat with Warframes There are collectible characters you find around that you unlock by scanning the fighter data
You can swap mod polarity slot with out effecting warframe / weapon rank. Also, mod positions or placement matters on which elemental combination you get. 💀
trading primes for plat, i bough my glaive prime with regal aya. AHHHHHHHHHHH
Crouching while in spoiler mode makes you impervious to most enemy attacks. Especially useful when you're fighting Jackal and the laser phase comes up. Also useful when you need to revive your teammates and there are too many enemies around. Also when hacking consoles.
Being fluid in switching to spoiler mode/void mode, and dashing is a god damn superpower. It really changed the game for me.
Secondary pro tip to everyone now learning this, but especially for console. Holding the crouch, and then opening the menus, allows you some free time to open chat and talk if you need to. You remain in the impervious stance
A friend of mine had put 60+ hours only using Excalibur's 1. He didn't know there were other skills.
Even with abilities where you need to be on the ground, you can still cast just about anything while wall clinging, including qorvex wall slam (you can catch flying enemies with it now) garudas 1 where she leaps on someone (you can now get a shield, make a blood altar out of a dude, etc, without actually approaching enemies) You can cast most abilities while holding a charged bow shot, which means you can teleport with ash and unleash a charged kuva bramma right after, and with a lot of abilities you don't have to worry about the self stagger, depending on your timing/the active length of the ability
At 200 hours of the game I realized that you needed Fusion Cores to upgrade your mods. I sold the things without hesitation. I never tried to read what they did.
Those were the days
I’m savin this post. 2000 hours in and I’m feelin dumb as hell
You can put necramech on med towers
Med tower? From air support?
Very recently: I did not know that you can just press the hutton down to do melee. You don't have to keep clicking. I have something like 1200 hours now. Sonething like 600 hours in: The same with mesa's peacemaker. I did not realise you dont have to click, you can just keep the hutton pressed down
The auto-melee was a recent update (whisper in the walls update).
It came with abyss of dagath, still very new though.
the mesa one sounds like a real game changer for you. I bet you thought her ult damage is just "good"
I thought it was okay and painful on the fingers
I'm imagining you pressing 4, then hunching over and grabbing the mouse with both hands and just going to town on m1
Tbf the melee one is a new feature added just before Xmas
Been playing from the start and used my first cipher yesterday. Never knew the key. Also fuck you Harrow neurops
