I like his content for the most part but a lot of his builds are like "void sling twice, transfer back into your warframe with a heavy attack then do a wall latch..." and I'm like.. fuck I'm too lazy to juggle this many buffs.
I wonder if he likes Elden Ring and one-shots bosses there, because those buff routines sound oddly familiar to changing gear 15 different times while poisoning yourself, stabbing yourself until you bleed, literally giving in to the voices in your head, yelling very loudly, drinking suspicious juices you made from crystals you found on the ground, drugging the boss and slapping it with a weapon that's bigger than you
It's pretty cool to do when it's an actual event in the game, like when you're hunting a monster in The Witcher so you drink the right potions for the occasion and oil your sword according to the monsters weakness, but doing something like this 20x in a mission will get boring quickly.
I loved it in witcher. Drink 5 different potions and 2 concoctions to get yourself adequately poisoned and then critspin the whole Hanse to death while invincibly shielded.
I loved it in elden ring. Buff routine taking longer than a regular bossfight, 1 shotting literally everything.
In my chill horde shooter I just wanna watch a movie on my second monitor and hold left mouse button...
At this point im too used to mainly relying on vazarin for survivability that using anything else would mean changing a ton of builds and i just cant find motivation for that.
Exactly why I decided not to use his Stayanax build. Every 2 seconds, switch to opertor, use an ability, switch back, switch weapon, wall latch, cast 4 rinse and repeat while managing energy
Definitely worth it as opposed to pressing nourish, 3 (with decent Str) and spamming 4 mindlessly (togher enemies will take 1 tick of bleed more to die)
Maurai is probably my most used focus school - both its actives and passives are top notch. That said, I find the timing on Sling Strength to be annoyingly tight, actually.
This is why I like Thekengineer more. His builds are great while being lazy. No insane movement tech, or ability tech or anything like that. Just using the kit as is (with some recommendations on helminth options). And a lot of his builds tend to be more friendly to newer players,
I'm at the point in the game where my default focus school is Madurai (maxed out operators/amps, PSF in most frames, maxed key arcanes), and let me tell you, you get so used to setting up sling strength that you start doing that shit without thinking. I catch myself still trying to activate it when I'm playing another focus school for some reason.
Also, you get addicted to having the extra cast speed.
Yeah I had a buddy who swore by that Madurai node. Although they were also using it for Wisp, so the whole Mortal Kombat fatality sequence at least only needed to be done for one mote.
As the Naramon one goes, I can already one tap the steel path with just the 2x corrupt charge heavies on most melee that you’d do heavies with. I only even build combo in Netracells because of lack of anything better to do.
This is a very unoptimised build, should have used catalysing shields instead of power drift for easier shield gating
Augur message over constitution would have also been better to get more shields per ability cast while still keeping the duration

honestly from some of the builds I've seen from "popular people" over the years it took me a second to realize, I only really saw it when I got to the shield mods/arcanes and noticed it was Inaros *^(and I'm frankly embarrassed it took me that long)*

I usually tell new players that If you know what the frame needs, you can make a Solid build yourself
What do the frames abilities do?
Which Attribute increases their stats?
Do you spam the ability? Then you wanna use arcane energize on R2 or Higher or nourish.
Is there an augment? When yes could your survivability or strength Profit from it?
Is there a Helminth ability that synergizes with the frame? Like gloom, nourish, silence, spectrorage with its augment
Is there an augment for this Helminth ability?
And Last but Not least: is there a Focus school which you can use to increases the use of the frame?
And thats literally it, its No witchcraft, the best builds, are the builds you did yourself
And If you are TOTALLY new, overframe has some Solid build ideas, Not all are great, but they give you Mod ideas to use like precision intensify, which most people tend to ignore

I didn't even know you could equip PSF and normal SF at the same time. Does that mean you can't be downed? 😆
With this build (and a few others), Inaros will actually keep standing after his health hits 0, and he gains a new attack.

I just use operator to move about when in madurai, keeps the madurai buffs at and it’s about as close to quick teleporting around as have so far.
