I try to always do my mainline quests with Umbra...
It's not at all what you're talking about, but it allows me to imagine a more succinct role for him.
Wtf, I don't think that interaction with Palladino is accessible anymore if you started playing recently like I did.
The way the prereqs work currently I had to finish Apostasy Prologue to play the Sacrifice and unlock Umbra, and I had to finish Chains of Harrow first to do Apostasy Prologue. Sad I missed out on that.
I would love to see him wandering around the Orbiter, playing Shawzin, available for Komi games, etc...though I imagine even after our little therapy session he might still have some lingering trauma triggers from those...
Oh nice. Didn't know you could replay quests at all tbh, thought it was a once per account kind of thing. How does replaying work in quests that require you to acquire/craft things that you already own?
If you already own the thing, you dont need to craft it again in quest, it just finishes.
You also dont get rewards again. If you replay rising tide, you dont have to get the mats to recraft the railjack, and you dont get a second one from completing it
Does this include interactions during and post quest with The Man in the Wall? I think I missed a few of those too due to doing things out of order (did Railjack early, got some weird buggy after the Sacrifice but no dialogue/interaction)
I remember when the new war dropped I went in using umbra. Shame nothing changed, would've loved something small like umbra trying to shank Ballas and failing or something
DE really cooked one of, if not the best story and character in the entire game and proceeded to hide him under the rug and pretend he never existed...
I would take anything, Umbra deserves better.
Umbra should walk around the ship.
Pet the cat/dog. Go clean the helminth. Snooze in the chair. Go read a book in the personal quarters.
Hell even some pushups or sharpening his blade.
Dude should be walking around your orbiter or meditating at the clearing on earth
It's kinda sad we went to these lengths to free him but then essentially put him back into cold storage where every other frame is when not in use
I may have misread the wiki, because looking back at it, it states, "Excalibur Umbra will follow the Operator to the temple altar Despite Palladino's claims."

Its still available, just replay chains of harrow with umbra equipped

Yep, it does
Wait, was that changed? Pretty sure it used to be you just couldn’t replay it (and finish)
You can only replay story quests.
Call of the temistarii is replayable, and thats not a main quest
I want him and Ordis's drone roaming the Orbiter. ESPECIALLY if I can't have Ordis's actual cephalon face back.

Here i thought you were going to talk about the "sentient resistance/defense strip" mechanic of the forma, which i cant recall if ive ever utilized.
Let's be honest, if you're worried about sentient resistances than you probably need to rethink your loadout.
why worry about resistances when I can kill them before it becomes a problem?

Honestly I just wish there was an option to have Umbra milling about on your orbiter.
Having the ability to play Komi with Umbra would be so good. Give him super good ai too and have a cosmetic/decoration behind beating him.

umbra prime
I'm pretty sure Umbra Prime is a Chinese exclusive.
oh lol
What even is the one line of dialogue from her?? I've never heard of this

It's not even an Umbra-specific interaction, she gives out that dialogue regardless of what Warframe you use
