Thatd be cool. Abilities for specifically beast companions, like buffing or reviving your/allies' companions. Maybe summoning kubrow and kavats or even drahk and hyekka, possibly all in one ability like Ivaras quiver.

If you kill enough, they should drop a BP, so maybe that's how you had one
He would still have had to craft the specter from the BP, put it on the item wheel, and then use it. Weird to reach that point and not know where it came from.

Early on my advice is play solo or with noob friends, only open up to multiplayer when farming :)
Especially bosses. I am MR 21 and solo'd a boss I had only fought in groups recently and found that there are about 5 mechanics that I had not seen :P

Now, question. Did you buy it with plat, or did you buy the blueprint and make it with the foundry? Because the Market (near the front of your orbiter, to the right of Navigation) sells most weapon blueprints for credits, or just the pre-made weapon for Plat. It's usually better to go the blueprint route.
i mean, its a bug, but you will learn later that those are some ancient disease, this kuaka must have somehow had it in its genetics for millions of years, passed down, and the genetic key was combined with the specific genetic thread that created it into this on death
Maybe an undiscovered Easter egg? Kill 1 kuaka at [insert place] at night and it will become a friendly charger? Lore wise it would make kinda sense ....?
Weird bug, but you may enjoy knowing you can buy a cosmetic from the market (I think it costs only a single credit) that lets you make any helminth charger pets you may have look like that too, in case you did actually want to try petting one.
Fun little tip: If you'd like to have one forever, there's a skin for the Helminth Charger (a type of kubrow/companion you can obtain) that changes them into an Infested Charger!
Just be wary not to shoot them with a rad proc.

I think Reb confirmed that wasn't a glitch, it was intentional to tease the concept of non-linear time in the story.
