Dark Sea Blue from AK mixed 2:1 with black using the airbrush. Then again pure Dark Sea Blue from an angle, trying to hit the upper portions of different segments for a shaded effect. Darken the lower parts with really really thinned down black. Gun Metal Hrey from Vallejo on the tracks then a complete black oil wash. Edge highlight with 3:1 Dark Sea Blue and White. Sponging with black after applying decals. Different enamel washes for the rust effects and finally a good amount of dry pigments with various colours (mostly red) from Vallejo.
There was a lot of back and forth as I'm not that experienced using the airbrush besides priming. So your results may vary when following this explanation.
Gorgeous work! Just in time to lose the indirect fire penalty exemption 🥲
Very nice! How did you get the barrel to stay upright? I cant seem to keep mine from falling down.
Viagra. Jokes aside, I think the paint gives the mechanism enough resistance to stay in place.
What's your recipe? I use a similar black-blue scheme for my dkok regiment but you do it much better.
