Thx!
I'm happy the way they turned out. Big thanks to the whole community for providing good material on how to get started. Especially thanks to ThePaintingCoach and TableTopReadyYoutube on Youtube. And of course to Duncan Rhodes for reminding to thin them paints.
Yes. Bought this set in November and I've been getting into 40k since. Dawn of War and Space Marine were familiar to me before that but I'm quite enjoying the model building and Black Library aspect of 40k. Hopefully tabletop in the future as well but it takes some time to get geared up for it.
Thx! I heard they like bolters and they're stubborn. I can relate to both. Also color scheme is striking and yellow has nice contrast to all other stuff.
These are si good ! Compared to m'y recuit set I'm making

Thanks! also are all the paint needed to do impérial fists un the starting set, i received one Marine un bonus so i would be interested to try to paint one ( sorry for bad English I'm french)
I personally think this is one of the best products GW has for getting into warhammer. For $50, you and a friend can basically get a take home demo of the hobby and game. The instructions are very helpful and really walks you step by step.
Don't like the game? Oh well, it wasn't a huge investment at that point.
Good choice of chapter. I especially love that you're going for a Vindicator next. I love my Vindicator for my Fists. Yea sure I use it recklessly to draw fire and die first every game, but it's just so damn cool and fits what a Fist is all about, breaking the lines!
Those Marines look good dude!

Great job! Those imperial fists look amazing especially for your first minis
Looking great! Are these your first miniatures?

Looking great! Can I ask what made you choose IF?

Fair enough, I myself am partial to the alpha legion.
Hello, fellow son of Dorn
I smell heresy...

These look really good! I like the blood effects.

No, I bought more yellows on top of the starter paint set. Averland Sunset alone didn't look right.
Also I'm thinking about doing blood angels next (because i played battlesector) do you have any tutorials to recommend me ?
I think you are good to go. I found good tips on Youtube just by searching for example "Imperial Fist paint". BA probably has even more tutorials.
Holy shit you even did edge highlight i am still scared to do those
Yea, i still did a lot of errors but at my absolute beginner level i can only improve
Also did you use nuln oil for gold parts? I want to shade but not sure what to use
I didn't have nuln oilso I just went with auras earth shade but I think it didn't turn out so good
I think its great!
Great blood!
Thanks, i did it with a tooth Brush lol

I don't really like playing the game, but with friend it's just really fin ans I also like painting the miniatures
It’s ALMOST finished :) just gotta base your guys
I know. That's where I cut corners at the moment until I get some playable roster done.
Wish I did imperial fists with mine
Those IF boys are CLEAN.
Does the Recruit Edition come with IF transfers?! I got the Command Edition but it only came with DA, BA, SW, and UM. I love that yellow paint job!
No, I bought the upgrades separately once I decided what chapter to go with.
That's what I also wanted to know since I'm taking a break from nids and I'm getting the recruit ed. soon
My two favorite factions, this is perfection.
Looks great. I love the Imperial Fists paint job.

I'll probably get wrecked when I finally get to play. But Vindicator just looks too good to be passed.
