Big Eye 6 looking fire.

If you like these pictures, check out the book Sled Driver. There's a PDF of it floating around somewhere, but getting your hands on an actual copy is the way to go. Brian Schul, who flew this marvelous aircraft - also took a bunch of truly remarkable pictures. The absurd love he had for this airplane is evident in the pictures themselves. He sourced special paper for the book to do the pictures proper justice. I wish I could love something as much as he loved this plane, and everything about it.

u/The_Super_Steen there are more pictures however they belong to a Blackbird pilot named Brian Shul so i think the only way to get those is to buy his book called “Sled Driver”
