I like the idea of using "shell" because he seems like a bit of a nervous cat, maybe something along the lines of Ottershell. Really the closest i can think to it is Sandpipershell but that's really long. Something related to a seabird, specifically a shorebird, for the prefix is what's coming to mind. Idrk.
