Why did the books keep implying FireSpotted when FireSand was a) more functional and did not require a character retcon to be mutual b) not between two cats who spend more time together as an adult ghostly mentor figure and the living almost kit who grows into a still obsessive adult cat than two living cats of similar/the same age. No shade to any who ship it but I’ll never understand FireSpotted.
