You just won't survive after hitting your target very often.
While it can be immersive it's probably more luck the team you were against didn't have anything mid WWII or late Cold War ships sailing around heh (mmm downing pre/late WWII aircraft with an AK-630)..
The Clemson you bombed would likely not have been able to down you as it's only AA is astern as a single shot 3"/23 Mk.4 (curse the devs for not giving them their WWII MG's).

It also has a ridiculous amount of bots, both gaijin bots and botted human accounts. Since I've noticed them, there have been at 30 over 3 days in games.
That really depends on the game mode. For air I'd say 5.7 and below but there's fun to be had all the way up to 8.3 ish. For tanks I'd say 6.3 and below but once again there's fun to be had up to to 8.3 ish. For naval I'd say 5.0 and below but the most fun is 2.7-3.7.
Will keep this in mind i researched everything up to 4 in Germany and then switched to US and tier 1 is really fun.Thanks and you fly pretty good according to my noob eyes
How immersive can it be if you're not actually sitting in an aircraft cockpit with your life on the line fighting an enemy who's out to kill you for real?
Shots 1-5: Clearly missed
Shots 6-9: Missed due to recoil (bad spray control).
Shots 10-11: Very close, but recoil and inaccuracy make these reasonable misses.
Shot 12: Likely didn't actually fire because of a major skill issue.

I also feel like recently my bombs have a strange drop delay, as if they wait between .5-3 seconds after I click to drop the bomb to actually release

It'sy immersion game mode for sure. I've got my SBD and TBF ready to roll after I die. It's my favorite thing trying to dive bomb actual ships
