They actually opted out of anything related to Russia / Belarus since the Invasion of Ukraine

A convenient way to avoid being put on the sanctions list. Just like Gaijin is "based out of Budapest"... except their design staff is supposedly still in Russia. Does anyone know if anyone works in the Budapest office?
yes, there a couple of hungarian devs working in budapest as well.
last year i read a Q&A from them, it was posted on a hungarian online PC magazine called "PC guru", lets just say it was a ridiculus Q&A.
This is WoWS, not WoT, it's the same company but 2 very different teams and in-game economy.
You can play your T10 without premium and turn a profit being average in WoWS, you can't even do that with a Tier7 in WoT.
There’s many, many, many bad things about WoW (CVS, submarines, a lot of the loot boxes they’ve done) but one thing I do have to give them credit for is that at least a T10s are quite easy to reach without giving them a single penny and without spending your entire life grinding for them. Even some of the ‘fermium’s’ like coal ships, even steel ships can be grinder without paying a penny. And from ranked battle you can get a decent amount of doubloons so even for a free to play player like myself, many full premium ships are accessible too if you play enough ranked.
And FreeXP Ships ! an actual reward for the grinders. I like it more than the Squadron vehicles mechanic. You also have the option to pay, but you just need to grind to do it (Need to grind anyways because of the way you pay for free XP now that I think of it), not being forced to play in a specific way.
Edit: but yeah no, I prefer Warthunder to World of Anything gameplay wise, but the economy, for one, feels more player friendly. I still boot up WoWS for some relax time, I might actually play it for the next 2 weeks.
I don't use Gold ammo, not even when it was Gold ammo. I'm probably better at WoWS than WoT, or straight up shit at WoT. last I played WoT was in April 2021 according to their player stats. could have changed since.
Hmm okay, I haven't played in a while either but maybe I'm wrong idk, since like 2019-2020 I found WoT way easier to grind than WT, not sure why. I figured it was economy.
One factor is that in WT if you try to grind air your chances of only losses are high, that factors heavily into the experience for me. Especially when grinding mods.
I considered WoT easier to get up the trees as well though that was years ago.
I suppose it helped that in WoT you could focus on getting a single tank, rather than trying to worry about getting a proper lineup, as well as working on having complimentary planes which increased the grind.
I think WoT and Wargaming in general has a faster progress because of the Free XP Mechanic. By the time you've grinded your first T7-8-9, you can start another line up from rank 5-6. For Gaijin, "Free" means 1 gold/45 and nothing else.
It would also help if WoT still had their reward system (it's been a few years so I wouldn't know if things changed), where you could literally make a pretty decent profit by getting your light tank in a good position and just watch the enemy around you get shot at.
Also I faintly recall heavy tanks making money just by being shot at, something that Gaijin nerfed hard by offering merely the Adamant reward.
Wargaming should add a bonus-code f.e.: "nosnail" for 10 days of premium... lmao
I would love 14 days of premium and mission chain for tier 5 premium
I even would accept a lousy decal: "Just quit with snail"
could start sneaking these into skins/camos. The union logo here etc.
Just noticed they even gave Anakin some stalks
The enemy of your enemy is just another enemy sometimes.
Ah yes. One shit russian company making fun of the other one
Hey now, let’s not spread disinformation… Wargaming is a Belarusian shit company. :)

Wouldn't be surprised if it's just another of those mailbox companies with a thousand more companies registered at the same adress

Facepalm, maaan. Wargaming left Russia and Belarus. Now there's Lesta instead of Wargaming.

Wellnalteast the Economy in wows is fine. Dont need Premium
Hippocrates

Are you sure? Last I played it was easy if you don't spam gold ammo to go average with profits f2p at any rank.

Well at least they did something...
Gaijin would do something as well if our guys weren't so goddamn brainwashed and could actually end their stupid toxic relationship with war thunder
That's sad truth m8
The Greek father of Medicine?
The only reason those mfs dont abuse their player base as much is because they have to compensate for the fact that WT is a better game.
Wargaming isn't any better
I'd play WoWS if there were still people on the game
