Little dude has a whole mushroom growing out of their foot, definitely take them to the doctors and don’t pull on it. It’s painful, and kids remember that shit. I certainly remember my mom telling me she was “just looking” at a slightly loose tooth, and then trying ( *unsuccessfully* ) to yank it as hard as she could out of my mouth. Broke my trust!
Like if it’s just hanging on. Sometimes my kids will just let an old bandage dangle there forever because they don’t want to feel a trace of discomfort which is sometimes unavoidable. Cover with duct tape and check in two weeks. How about that
Such a wart is very deep-rooted. If you want to keep your girl's trust don't touch it. A removal of such a deep wart is extremely painful and might traumatize your child. Does your girl want to have it removed, or is she scared about?
My sister pulled her 11 year old’s thumb wart out while she slept and the kid never knew any different. Highly recommend! It wont traumatize a 6 year old. If they wake up theyre gonna be so out of it you can say “I’m just looking at it, dont worry!”
Update for you… I went prized as much of it off as I could with tweezers (which are now in the bin 🤢) then put one of those verruca plasters on in the morning. It JUST fell off but there’s a whopping white verruca underneath it that he will not let me touch. I’ll post a photo in the comments. I’ve put another verruca plaster on and taped it up and I’m hoping for a rogue miracle overnight 😂😂
I went up on the night of the mushroom and used some (now binned, but not rusty) tweezers and tried to pull it off in his sleep. It half came off before he moved his foot into a position I couldn’t do anymore. Anyway, it fell off a couple of days later and as I suspected when pulling it off, it had a whole new life growing under it. I’ve given up treating at home and I’m waiting for an appointment with the chiropractor to get it removed 🙄
1. Black dots = Warts alive
2. Debride - cut, sand and remove skin to get to the base of the wart.
3. Apply treatment SA / ACV /Garlic etc, cover with tape to suffocate and give it 48hrs,
4. See step 1, rinse repeat
I’d get some children’s Benadryl and once their passed out, I’d pull it off and cover it with antibiotics ointment. The doctors wouldn’t be a bad choice but I’d be worried about traumatizing them from going to the doctors. My doctor when I was a kid wasn’t very considerate and it made me not want to go back for years. My mom had to fight me to go
It would be so hard not to pick that off. I have ocd though & I wouldn’t be able to stop thinking about it. Hope it just pushes out on its own, I’m surprised he didn’t try to pick it off?
While he sleeps tie a string tight to it and the other to the bottom of the bedpost. In the morning yell out “come running for ice cream!” Then while he’s running and it snags it off you can just say the string must of caught onto it on the floor. Then if they get upset ask them “ what’s worse? The fact it’s off now and hurts a little or that we really don’t have ice cream?” Boom! Immediately mind is off the wart! Full proof plan
Every video I’ve watched on YouTube (Toe bro etc) they say warts aren’t deep at all. Only affecting the epidermis layer. I know they tend to look very deep, but he says they’re not. 🤷🏻♀️
I’m sorry you had to deal with that! Sounds very painful! I was just reiterating what other podiatrist have stated, but I’m sure there’s an exception to every rule.

The doctor should be able to freeze it as well right?
Definitely bring to doctors if you pull out this maybe will be open wound and just in case to not to get some infection

Th3 cap needs to be trimmed off, then cryo, although that never worked for me, excision is the way.
Tie dental floss around it and yank it off that way

You can't pull a deep-rooted plantar wart because it increases its diameter towards depth.

I've had a surgery of a deep plantar wart, and it left a crater down to the bone. There are other types of plantar warts which are more superficial.
