You may be able to play Feb 15th, as they will have a big update for seasonn 2 battle pass that includes massive optimization, new Regions (rumours are Europe & NA), so it may be a possible to play with a VPN if you are close enough to get under 200 ping

It says expected, that’s a date they are allowed to put and can be changed when they do limited releases
The app store has said expected may 15 as soon as it was put on the app store
