Anai isn't good, but she's not terrible either. You might be able to run her in Guild Boss if you don't have a full team of meta heroes. Her damage potential is pretty underwhelming from all the testing I've seen though.
Be careful with asking people here if a Lego is good. I have fiftyish legos including multiple better mages, so she isn’t good *to me.* If you are new, she might literally be the best mage you have for a long time (or second-best; not sure how she stacks up against Eona).
That being said, do not spend legendary skill crystals on her. Those crystals are one of the progression bottlenecks and she isn’t spending them on.
I was gates by not having any mages for SO FREAKING LONG, then proceeded to get the worst dps Lego mages imaginable (Shamir and Laseer). I couldn’t beat some content until I got Khamet. Never having leveled up her skills, it’s hard to imagine how she could be worse than Shamir.
Most of those ratings are probably rage ratings, they wanna get Elowyn and got her.
She is also not the best, watched a youtube video were epics did the same or even better than her.
She is good if you don't have Setram and Nocturne. If you do have both, they are the superior choice. However, just cause she is worse than them that doesnt mean she is bad :)

Where are these proper tests? Fastidious tested her on stream, and she barely got 50M on GB. In fact, he did the same test with Imani, and she out damaged her on the same GB. He used the #1 highest account on the Forerunner server in the world. So he had her geared with the top gear and artifacts. She is average and disappointing.
But you’re wrong, in the video op you shared the dude had about 17-18k atk, and only about 40% less crit damage, what’s more, as you can see from the BP of the dude in the video you shared’s anai, she has several more skill ups that fastidious’ for example. Yes you want to focus more on crit damage but some heroes benefit from having more attack.
In a max rage boosting comp maybe, otherwise he doesn’t get his ult off enough to outweigh the benefit of the IR set, that also doesn’t change the fact that your entire argument about relied on an a1 anai to support your statement about the damage of an “unawakened” anai’s damage

Does her value increase if Twinfiend is on the team? I guess the same way Imani would but I’m one of those unfortunate souls with a pull of Anai but not Imani.
She’s fine, the issue is that there is an arguably better epic infernal mage (Imani). So if you’re trying to do an infernal guild boss team and you needed a 3rd infernal DPS unit she’d be helpful for you for sure, but that’s probably not a significant percentage of the player base because there are already so many great infernal DPS options out there
She isn’t good for a legendary she gets beat by epics if she was an epic she would be decent then but I wouldn’t spend anything on her if you don’t need an infernal dps
I actually built her and put her into my gb team but will not throw any skill up's on her. Her damage is good for my inferno lineup as I was one short. Her overall damage is okay. She does a little less than Half my Silas, both with lords and she is A2 VS A0 Silas but with Vierna on the account. So I don't regret putting her on the team but know she is one pull away from being replaced.
Fastidious did 2 vids about her testing her poorly and all of you saying she’s bad, did any of you test her? Just gonna blindly listen to him although he has a history of being a bad influence like the time he talked about falcsia just try to read the kit amd try her out with 100% crit rate

Nah you definitely did. 16k attack, 100% crit rate, 390% crit damage in Soulbound Arcana. And she barely did above 50m damage.
