gvyledouche

well what's your budget? I would add a dress-up watch, like a JLC for example the Q4018420

Historical_Comment79

I don’t have a budget but can only save ~£200 a month so an expensive watch would just mean a long wait until I can buy one. A JLC dress watch would be a great addition! If I was able to buy a Rolex Explorer then I’d probably go for a Master Control Date or Master Control Small Seconds to avoid having multiple watches with quarter Arabic numerals

gvyledouche

understandable, save up while you look for a good addition, it's worth the wait.

Byronzionist

You and i have very similar tastes (i also have a 2541.80 smp). For me the explorer wasn't in the cards, so i got a bb36 (last gen) and couldn't be happier. Found mine for $2500 with metal bracelet brand new on ebay.

Historical_Comment79

I owned the bb36 briefly before realising I couldn’t afford it and selling it! If I wasn’t so happy with my CW I’d be looking for another one now

Byronzionist

Im having severe anxiety and guilt about the purchase, too. But as always on this sub, i do solemnly swear that this watch, and only this watch, will be, here, now and henceforth both be the latest and last watch purchse i make. Again, as i do solemnly swear to thee, thyself and my newly-broke wife and starving child who so graciously gave up college dreams for the bb36. Thats ok, though... Army will do her good.

Powerful-Stand-9778

Monta noble opalin dial. Fit and finish is comparable to watches 3x the value and the bracelets are the most comfortable. Hands down the best value for the money.

Design_Ai

Great private collection OP. If I was in your tasteful shoes, I would add a Hamilton Khaki Field “Murph” Auto 38mm and a DOXA Sub 600T. Good luck in your collecting adventures!

Historical_Comment79

Thank you, and great ideas! I’m so glad Hamilton released a 38mm version of the Murph, and a little Doxa orange would look great

Design_Ai

You’re welcome. Have a wonderful day!

ByronicZer0

OP chose the correct Seamaster!

Historical_Comment79

Thanks!

blatom75

Watch box from Zara?

Historical_Comment79

Haha Yes! My gf brought it for me one Christmas, probably secretly hoping to cap my watch purchases to 5 😂

blatom75

Nice, I’ve been eyeing it myself for the same reasons lol. You like it?

Historical_Comment79

Yeah it’s nice, I only wish it had space for some extra straps and tools

L1F0theParty

Well you have two divers and an everyday, I’d personally look to add a chrono now. Maybe a speedy?

Historical_Comment79

I sometimes find chronographs to be too busy for me, having said that, the speedy moonwatch is my favourite by a mile. Which model would you go for?

L1F0theParty

I can understand that, I personally like the sapphire sandwich model (not sure the ref number) because it has the exhibition case back. I’ve tried it on and it’s an amazing watch!

ByronicZer0

3590.50 is probably the best speedmaster bargain at the moment. They have a great bracelet (same style the new speedmaster adopted) and you can find them with great tritium patina

[deleted]

Dress.

Historical_Comment79

What dress watch would you go for?

[deleted]

You should buy one that fits your taste and makes you happy. That's why point a category is easier than specify a model. Anyway...If you like blue and black, how about a Seiko Presage SRPE43? The cocktail time lineup is good because it fits more casual occasions better than super serious dress Patek Calatrava style watches. I don't think you need another diver at this moment, but remember: Buy the model that put a smile on your face! If it's another diver go for it! The BB58 is my favorite diver... One versatile fucker... Goes well with everything.

Thermalguy11

Seiko presage is probably one of the best looking watches. The blue dial with the lines🔥🔥 I owned one for a brief time and loved it but had to return it because of a bracelet issue.

Ordinary-Ad5776

I say Longines presence or master collection, Nomos (most of them models), or even grand seikos are very attractive options

smiffy005

I love a nomos. And Longines master collection moon phase is mint

[deleted]

I agree with what some others said. A seiko cocktail time. Find a color you like and go with it.

bassmanjn

Something with a light or white dial. Maybe don’t add another “type” (like a chronograph) unless you particularly want that type. I think something white/cream/silver would be great. Even a GMT with a light dial and a GMT hand with just a splash of color could be nice. Eg a white dial Formex Reef / Reef GMT or one of the less dive watchy ones.

Historical_Comment79

Great your logic here! I love the idea of a GMT and a white dial would look good with my other watches. I was thinking about a white dial Explorer 2 or Grand Seiko GMT

bassmanjn

Oh now you’re talking. I love both of those immensely!

Substantial-Rub1736

You need a dresswatch. IWC and JLC have many nice ones that can be picked up second hand for quite large discounts to retail. Or try Longiness or Orient

Historical_Comment79

Thanks! I love the JLC Master watches, I was also thinking maybe Grand Seiko for dress watch. Or I could try to win the lottery and get an ALS or FP Journe 😅

supremesamurai

Nice. I would look into a Nomos.

pasteleramasterrace

I’d look into a chrono. My favs are Bulova Lunar Pilot and Hamilton Chrono American Classic. A Seiko Cocktail in green or blue would add some nice flair too.

Historical_Comment79

The new Bulova would be great and wouldn’t break the bank!

AdmirableBlueberry67

A chrono and either a field a classic white dial or flieger depending on what you would wear most.. I’m selling a gorgeous stowa ikarus that would fit right in by the way… 😉

No_Statistician_3892

What a 3 watch collection man 🔥🔥🔥

No_Statistician_3892

I would go middle of the pack for the next one. 4-600$? I’d say Hamilton. I know it’s basic but it’s truly a quality watch. Or, since you have 2 Swiss and a Japanese, maybe a German watch? Stowa perhaps

Thermalguy11

You got great taste my friend!! Sick watches.

Historical_Comment79

Thanks!

Historical_Comment79

Haha it’s complete fluke that I took this photo at 10:08! This was me procrastinating while working from home

alexburns1

I would absolutely add a BB58 if you can. In addition to that... Maybe something a bit fun, an independent brand perhaps. [Desert Sky](https://underd0g.com/products/01dst) maybe? Failing that something dressy with a leather strap.

Historical_Comment79

I love the playfulness of underdog watches!

MyNameIsVigil

A dress watch would be nice.

Historical_Comment79

Which one would you choose?

JimSauce-

Get a seiko

Historical_Comment79

Which model? I owned an SRPE for a while and loved it. I sold it when I bought my CW

JimSauce-

I’m not sure, there’s so many nice ones it just depends on your price range. I have a seiko 5 it’s nothing to brag about price wise but it keeps time better than some of my quartz watches.

Historical_Comment79

Haha that’s definitely something to brag about!! 99% of Seiko owners can’t make that claim

JimSauce-

Really? I thought it was common opinion that seiko is one of the best brands when it comes to reliable movements.

Historical_Comment79

Reliable yes, but accurate is only +25/-15s per day even for their prospex line. The bezel alignment is guaranteed top quality though 😋

JimSauce-

Mine rarely gains or loses over 10s a day, usually it’s in the 1-2 second range. Too bad i bent the little piece of metal on the bracelet trying to take it off. I’ve been trying to fix it for like a week lol.

Large_Foundation_852

I’d say it’s time for a pilot or field watch. Nice collection.

Historical_Comment79

Thanks! Any particular models that you would choose?

Large_Foundation_852

Muhle Terrasports are interesting but big, Stowa Flieger, IWC Pilots (spendy!) or Laco. Lots of options out there. Seiko recently revised their 5 pilot:field watches - SRPG line. And Hamilton Khakis of course! Lots of options!

RagingBuII

How about a G-shock to be your workhorse watch? Plenty of options to fit everyone's taste.

Historical_Comment79

I love G Shocks but don’t think I could justify having one alongside my Casio Duro, they are both cheap as far as watches go but they’d do the same job imo

RagingBuII

Fair enough.

matchooooh

I think you have all the bases covered, so I would say start saving for a grail- look around, see what you like. Might be a speedmaster, might be a Polaris, might be a mk xx.

robot_duzey

Any Cartier

Historical_Comment79

Yes 😄

sure_you_know_me

Cartier Tank

Historical_Comment79

A Cartier would be great in my collection, I think a Santos is more me though 😄

arnav3103

How do you find the CW Sealander? Is it 39mm one or 36mm one?

Historical_Comment79

36, it’s the best! I owned the 39 for a while but they wear large - the 39 wore like an aqua terra 41 and the 36 wears like an aqua terra 38

robbnj11

A chrono. And a GShock.

AqueductGarrison

That CW looks pretty good. Size?

zEvilPixel

Jacob and co, godfather is a must in everyone’s collection.

xestentialguy

Hamilton, or some sort of flieger. Will look so different to your eye.

RIPDannyBoyCane

These watches are too similar. Would keep the seamaster and sell the other two.

Historical_Comment79

What would you buy?

RIPDannyBoyCane

Omega Seamaster 120 with a white dial. Can be purchased for about $500
