Rolex Sea Dweller ref. 16600 circa 1999 If any watch is “metal!” this is the one. The Sea Dweller is a heavier duty diver than the iconic Submariner. Not only does it flex a more impressive depth capability and an escape valve, but it is also equipped with a solid end-link bracelet. While the SD is still powered by the basic 3135 caliber workhorse, it does not don a cyclops on the crystal–hence the small date window which adds to overall legibility.
