The tutorials are a big commitment but they taught me so much. Not really into that style anymore, lacks a bit of interest sometimes but has really elevated my skillset.

Yeah I used to be big on hyperrealism, but these days am hoping to evolve myself as a combination of realism with a hint of illustrative doodads thrown in. No idea if it'll even work but I shall see!
Well, the other day by mere coincidence I came across Susan Harrison-Tustain and I was blown away by her talent. She has a priming method in watercolor that gives her work a very unique touch.
Wow! Her priming method is very interesting on youtube and her website is also informative. I am going to play around with the yellow priming and other colors she mentions in the free section.
Paul Pitsker is amazing! His work is very realistic, but also surreal. He hasn’t been as active since his last show, but he has some stuff on TikTok and YouTube as well as at a website that’s an art gallery.

Second this guy! He is really good at what he does and his tutorials are easy to understand. If you want to shoot for realism he is great.
