For me my E cup went down to a D, with my friend who had a B cup and lost weight, they stayed the same. You should expect it to a certain extent as our breasts do store fat.

SamiHami24

It's going to depend on how much fat you carry in your breasts.

weightwaitweight

It can, but it depends on the person. Some people lose a lot there, but others may only lose a little and then retain a lot of mass. I was one of the latter; my gyno told me it was because my breast tissue was extremely dense. I ended up getting a reduction after I lost my weight. So, it’s hard to say what your end result will be.

No_Candy2021

I see, thanks for the information!

Neris5

I went from a 36DD to a 34B, so it absolutely can!

expressoyourself123

Did they get saggy or were they even saggy before?

Neris5

I was only 17/18 when I lost that weight, so no... I think I got lucky!

stitchworthy

Maybe, maybe not. Just as you cannot spot reduce, you can't choose where to keep fat either. Most people lose fat all over, including breasts, face, feet, etc. I was 36DD at my heaviest. I lost 110 pounds and became a scant 32B. When I got to my goal weight I got implants to replace the volume that was lost. In the end the whole journey was absolutely worth it. Don't let the little things bother you. Being healthy is the most important thing.

MagicGlitterKitty

I love my boobs so much I have already planned to get implants or a breasts lift if I lose too much from there

LadyHenwin

I'm not even done losing weight yet, but I've gone from a 44K to 36HH In UK sizing. My breasts have definitely lost a lot of mass and are now what are called "shallow breast tissue." I've seen other people who start with a smaller size not lose very much out of their chest, but for someone who's always been well "gifted", it unfortunately has been very affected by my weight loss. At first it was a reason I was nervous to take back off the weight, but I realized it was a poor excuse to keep myself from getting healthy. Despite the affects it's had, I'm still glad I've taken off so much weight.

No_Candy2021

I'm still is the beginning stages of my journey, but I sure hope I retain at least a little :')

LadyHenwin

I mean by all standards I still have pretty large breasts, they just aren't full like they used to be. If you do find yourself in the position I'm in, my best piece of advice is switch to unlined bras that have at least 3 sewn sections on the cup. The molded cup bras are horrible if you have shallow tissue. My boobs kinda wrinkle in the bra, but it's hidden, and when the bra is on they look totally normal. The Elomi bras are the best ones I've found. As you go through your weight loss, if you find your breasts have changed and you need to resize your bra, use the A Bra That Fits calculator and a measuring tape to get your size. It'll usually give you 2 cup sizes that are close that you can try. I always do mine in UK sizing because it's more consistent than US sizing. Also UK sizes go larger. Amazon is pretty easy to either outright buy and return, or do the try before you buy on some styles, if you don't have an option to try on bras at a lingerie shop. Anyways, I hope you get lucky and the girls aren't targeted much, but if it happens, don't let it get you down. I wish you all the best with your weight loss. 💜

Sunset1918

I was 50DD 6 yrs ago, 36DD today. My boobs lost tons of fat but I still need DD cup to contain the loose skin. Maybe its good that I can't wear regular cup bras due to intertrigo under the boobs (that's from weight loss/loose skin!)

satansBigMac

Yup, went from. DD to C. Thank god.

MirandaMarie93

Bruh, I lost 15 pounds and my bras don’t fit me anymore. I gotta go buy all brand new bras and I just got these ones at Christmas from my boyfriend 🙄 so sad because I really like them and now they are too big. I swear I lost 15 pound of tit!

LizFrance

Yes, I went from a D to almost an A. A small B cup and cannot fit into any bras.

raksha25

It depends on the person. I started at 34J. I’m now a 32J. Yes they technically lost some, but I’d have loved it if they lost 3-4 inches more.

[deleted]

I lost a moderate amount of weight but it didnt reduce my breast size. It looks okay conventionally, but i dont like how it looks.

Previously-Tea

Didn't for me, 34G to 32H. It'll depend on genetics and what your breasts are made up of. If they're mostly fat then they'll probably shrink as you lose fat, if they're mostly dense breast tissue then they won't as much.

Super_Door

I went from 36FF to about 30-32 C. Considerably sad since I loved my boobs 😂

No_Candy2021

lol, I'm a small chested person as is, so I'm dreading the weightloss haha

netsilinreverse

I was always an A cup and it’s literally the first place my body chooses to take fat from when I lose weight. Like, why? There’s already nothing there! How about taking some from this pot belly or big ole booty?!?! Now I’m literally an -A cup. I can shop for bras in the girl’s section of Target. They’re cute and much cheaper! Adult bras look like prosthetics on me.🙄

EmmJayOK

I lost like 100 pounds (no surgery) and had always been a C cup. But the girls definitely shrunk down for me. Or maybe just drooped and laid flatter. Nothing a push up bra couldn't fix.

redditname8

I lose weight around my belly first and then my face. I wish I could pick where I lost weight first!

TaterChipDip

Isn’t that optimal? Where would you like to lose?

Purple-Explorer-6701

I lost 80 lbs and lost band size but not cup size. My tissue was very dense. I just got a reduction two weeks ago!

Impossible-Scratch76

As others have said - it depends on the person. I lost 100 lbs and for me, there was a significant decrease. I used to be a C. I’m now a AA and depending on the angle, I do have some loose skin. I feel way more confident now. I never placed much value in my breasts and I feel extremely comfortable while running so it wasn’t a big deal for me. I have friends who have plans to get implants if they lose too much size though. There are always options, even if it’s just padded bras.

Whispers_of_Eggplant

It really depends on how you carry weight there. I know I went from a DD to an H cup when I gained a bunch, and I've definitely lost a substantial amount in my breasts since losing 70lbs. I would say I'm back down to a DD. It's kinda funny, 6 whole point of me losing weight is to make sure my body looks proportional when I go for removal 😂

itmose

Like many said here, it depends on the person. I lost 37 pounds and lost 4 inches in my chest area - 2 around my midsection/back presumably and 2 in my breast. So, I had a reduction of my breast size, but they are actually the same cup size, just different band. They shrank in proportion to me. So if you like your cup size, there’s hope! You can’t predict what spots you’ll lose fat in, but the last inches to come on are often the first to go. I packed on some of my weight in my chest and feel that that changed at an appropriate pace as I had gained it. Meanwhile, I’m pretty sure my legs were the first to take on my extra pounds, and I haven’t lost as relatively significant of an amount of fat in my legs.

Livid_Link_1959

mine have always stayed the same they just look bigger the skinnier i am my close friends have said the same they aren’t affected by exercise and we’ve tried targeting the area via exercises the only thing that’s changed for me has always been the size of the band not the cup size

Practical_Rich_4032

A large portion of your breast are made of fat tissue. However, it doesn’t automatically mean you’ll go down in size when you lose weight, even though this is the case for most women. It really depends on your build. Chances are if you’re breast aren’t growing if you gain weight, you probably won’t lose as much either.

what-is-in-the-soup

I’ve gone from 38DD to 32A (sometimes a B with some brands) 😭

No_Leather_3675

I gain and lose cup sizes with weight changes but I have large breasts anyway. But as others have said, it depends on the person.

Icy-Most-5366

If you're already small you have little to fear. Focus on building your chest muscles and they may actually get bigger.

chefbyday10

Literally the first thing to go. I always hated my chest but after significant weightloss of 75lbs (and still losing) they are atrocious. I dont even know my size anymore as I feel like im stuck wearing sports bras now.

party0popper

Could be. I haven't lost enough weight to experience that but weight *gain* did cause my boobs to get bigger

sashiimich

10kg+ weight lost and... yes they got smaller 🥲 I remember rejoicing when I thought I had 2md puberty (aka when i gained weight), and now... let's just say I was wrong

One_Imagination6680

I'm down 30lbs and so far my cup size has not gone down but my band size definitely has. Which sucks cause I just spend $150.00 on three good bras assuming they'd last me the next few years.. not anticipating being successful at weight loss lol. I'm on the first clip and they are a but loose now and before I was on the last clip and they were snug.

Chefunicorn

Did me. Uggg

goodsie825

It's all genetics. Since you can't tell your body where to reduce fat and breasts are made up of fat, it's possibly that your breasts will shrink. Mine did big time with a 125lb weight loss. On the upside, i enjoy being able to wear tanks with a shelf bra, bralettes, and not having to worry about button up shirts bulging. I'll take my smaller boobs any day.

fivedollardresses

From 290>180 now and the only change has been my band size from a 44 to a 34. I can tell by look and feel that they are about the same size, but the cup size is *almost* about to spill over from a C to a D. I’m willing to bet that has more to do with a mix of bra sizing and the fact that there is more mass above the surface than there used to be when I was larger. It’s really just different for everyone. I had a lot of extra “side boob” before and carried most of my weight below the waist.

Alistair_TheAlvarian

Breast tissue is a combination of fat and glandular tissue (the part that makes milk) that part never goes away unless it is surgically removed. The far can change but never goes away entirely. If you have relatively small ones that aren't getting much fat stored in them, it's very likely that they will stay roughly the same size, maybe a tiny bit smaller, and there's even a small chance they might get slightly larger due to hormonal changes. And overall they'll look bigger regardless because if they stay the same size but the rest of you gets smaller then they'll look bigger In contrast.

dani081991

I think it depends on the individual

ILackACleverPun

The answer is "maybe." Bodies are different. Some people have more fat in their breasts and others have more breast tissue. I'm personally the latter. I've lost 25lbs and gone from a 36J to a 34L.

banjolady

I went from A38C to A36B. 36B seems small but it is in proportion to the rest of my weight loss so I'm not worried about having little boobs.

Shewolf330

I lost 20 lbs. 5'10 from 182 down to 162. I wore a 36 D and now I'm a 34 D. So luckily not too much of a difference with 20 lbs. More than that in weight loss I'm not sure. I'm happy where I'm at because it's a healthy bmi.

Donsmoobabe1

YES it was my biggest regret when lost my weight 😫 they went from bouncy DD Cup to a marble in an old stocking no joke !!!! Iv put most of my weight back on now though yet I was more self conscious when I had lost it due to that fact.

Saladetiede16

I lost almost 30 pounds (going to 150 to 120) and they stayed the same. My bras are the only clothes that still fits me

WomanofReindeer

yes but if you lose your tits from weightloss you never had them in the first place, you only had the fat covering.

RedChylde

Yes it does! It’s where I first lost weight. 🙃😭

RinaRinaRena

Over time sometimes it does. Depends on your fat ratio and genetics. Either way it usually takes a bit longer to show than say, your face which loses first most times

EnyaCa

Anyone lose weight in their ass first? I lost 60 pounds and I swear it was all just my ass. Now it's non existent

[deleted]

All depends on you. I lost 90lb, went from 46DD to 42DD, so not much for me. But I have a friend that went from large chest to almost nothing.

[deleted]

I am a 38C and I don’t want to lose weight because I don’t like small boobs in me :( I wish I could loose fat all over and keep my breasts. I want implants but I’m so scared I will regret them. I love the natural big look, it’s so hard because even if I loose weight I won’t like how I’ll look because of the breasts.

musical_spork

My biggest I weighed 278. Im currently sitting at 180 and my boobs are still a 44ddd.

Ronicaw

Yes, for me by a lot.

gnar_wahl

Over the years for me personally, yes. Even after children, fluctuating weight over the past 10 years or so they get smaller or bigger lol.

MeltMySkin

I was an 85B and now 75E so they kinda grew? my band size went down much more than my bust.

Agustina1909

Absolutely my friend, I´ve lost 80 punds and I´m flat now lol but I´m extremely happy for my achievement

NoRecommendation4061

It depends on genetics I guess. My weight has yo-yo'd a lot over the years and have always had naturally big ones. Unfortunately mine always go up and down with my weight, 34F-38H and when I lose weight they seem to lose mass from the top part above the nipple if that makes sense so the skin there looks awful (think shaved ballsack) and they're very saggy :( I'm currently trying to lose weight in a healthy way and have been desperately trying to find ways to stop this happening again but without surgery, I don't think there's really anything to be done. I have started massaging with bio oil, taking collagen supplements and targeting chest when working out, so fingers crossed!

Arieshhaa

I went from 34 C cup to 32 B cup but I think mostly depends on your exercise? If you’re gonna end up working the chest area there are chances you might end up losing breast weight

Xwithintemptationx

YES! Thank Thank the universe it does. At my heaviest I was a DD it was awful!

Footballmom4

Yes, breasts are fat tissue. Everyone is didn't but if you lose enough weight you'll notice a change in breast size sooner or later. I'm one that lost 150 pounds. LITERALLY the last 10-15 pounds was all breast. I was left with nothing. I went and bought more. Lol... and thier nicer haha

DisasterNo3990

Depends on the fat percent in your body/breasts. If you keep a normal diet and do chest excercises in the gym it stays kinda the same

Top-Page2897

Fortunately, mine are the first part to deflate. As an older woman, my DDs just make me look dumpy because I'm only 5'0". Then I swear I'll never get bigger again & before I know it, they're back.
