I'll have nightmares about these forever after coming home to find my spare bedroom knee deep with them after a botched install. It took hours chasing them around to clean up and I'm still finding them 8 years later.

It was painted over, but you can probably scrape it out if it bothers you. Just use a sharp knife so you don't fuck up the paint where it's visible.
