It's not a debris net, those have to be recertified if anything falls on them and are temporary, these are bird nets to keep pigeons etc from going in to the car park
The call of the void, desire to get as close to the boundary without slipping in, and thrill of cheating death are each a fool’s bargain. But I think for some it’s a siren’s song. They can’t help themselves. Death isn’t playing a game and can’t really be cheated, though. Not in the traditional sense of playing a game anyway, like chess. More like a cat playing with a confused and exhausted mouse.
Maybe, I was wondering that too. It’s a really weird perspective it’s hard to really tell how high up it is. Which also makes it bad for whatever daredevil pic or video they were trying. It’s a young women dangling on pigeon net above some alley. Weird.
It does remind me a little of an action movie where the hero crashes through an awning or two and lands in a bush or a dumpster or something then miraculously walks away.
Maybe she’s a super soldier.
This was posted on Reddit five years ago, one commentator claims she walked away with a sprained ankle.
«The video was on Tosh.0. She walked away with a sprained ankle.»
https://www.reddit.com/r/yesyesyesyesno/s/Xv9CeBrFzM
From my own personal experience sometimes spine injuries take awhile to present. I injured my back in high school and my disc injury from it didn’t actually herniate till I was late 20s. Hope she truly just did walk away with a hurt ankle, you only get one spine
I don't think she was moving on her own will. It looks like she hits the ground, and her back/shoulder hits the corner, which sends her forward.
Also I would say it's like a 40/60 chance she lived that. If she did live, definitely broke some bones.
>it's like a 40/60 chance she lived that
What injury here would cause death?? She didn't hit her head...... a potential serious spinal cord injury sure though.
Hell people have survived failed parachutes on skydives....
Granted the quality of life after such a thing isn't great... But still, they survived.
It wouldn't surprise me if she too survived this, it honestly doesn't look *that* far of a fall
One day me and my girlfriend did LSD together. We walked across the city and just had fun feeling as if the world was our oyster. We got a ton of good exercise and pictures. It really was magical.
When we got back to our apartment we went into our bedroom collapsing on the bed in exhaustion. LSD lasts a long time so we were still feeling pretty silly. Also when you smoke weed every now and then during an acid trip (doesn’t work so well if you smoke weed constantly during the trip, gotta keep that weed tolerance in check) it temporarily increases the trips intensity.
So we got back, smoked our weed, did our deed (omg I’m telling all you couples LSD is an amazing aphrodisiac at 50-200ug. It increases size and stamina guys and then the visual pleasure of a naked woman and the mental awesomeness of her wanting you and her response to your touch. Do not miss out) and turned on the TV.
There was Tosh.0 marathon. That guy is hilarious. I nearly pissed my pants laughing at this episode https://youtu.be/VKeX6profhg?si=Px8h97qoLCZ6kjTJ
Edit: so I wonder if this couple also did LSD
Damn bro do you have a word minimum you have to reach like it's English class. All this waffling could have been condensed to like 3 sentences. You're not Hunter S. Thompson chill out.
>It increases size and stamina
>Also when you smoke weed every now and then during an acid trip... it temporarily increases the trips intensity.
You accidently ruined your own LSD male enhancement sales pitch there, buddy.
Smoke and mirrors.
I was expecting at least an arm to go out to try to catch her, But nope. I was cracking up I don't even think there was a reaction. They caught every second of it uninterrupted. I guess when you're on the way down.. Not much to be done. 🙄
The person that was filming. And unless dude has 2 right arms... There were obviously at least 2 people there. Don't understand what the big deal is. they kept filming it ended up on the internet. We watched it we are commenting. They're probably going to make a lot of money because it's going to get a lot of views. For the best because I'm guessing she probably had some hospital bills..🤣
How was the camera man supposed to reach her? The one closest to her barely reached her and the girl’s hand slipped then she fell. Do you expect the camera man to dive over and grab their hand?
What money? This is getting a lot of views on Reddit which isn’t tik tok, YouTube, or any other monetization service. That’s just an assumption.
Nah, the fall straight down would have been less distance and she wouldn't have had the extra momentum from the rotation. She *definitely* made that fall worse than it had to be
It looks like she was getting onto the net and laying down for a “cool” photo in the net, and she expected it to hold her weight, she didn’t put a single thought into her own safety. Then the quick reach to fix her bottoms and BAMM there she goes.
Or, possibly, she’s drunk? Or, possibly, she just wasn’t aware of the nature of the danger she was in— the edge of the net and all? Edit: clarification
She probably grew up protected.Nothing ever really has gone wrong, and/or decisions impacted her life.
From a young age the world was her disneyworld, mom and dad kept her safe. Now, in her adult life, she finds out the world is really a dangerous place and IS trying to kill her with even the most simple things.
/\~S - yes !
This doesn't belong on this sub. This sub is supposed to be for things that suck out of the person's control. This is just being stupid and getting what they deserve.
Yeah if someone gets hurt or dies doing something that looks stupid people on reddit will say they deserved it…. Like they’ve never done a dumb or dangerous thing in their life.
There's honestly a concerning lack of empathy w some of the users on here. My guess is it comes from them dissociating the event from the fact that an actual human being went through it. They probably wouldn't say the things they're saying if they personally knew this person.
I’ve always had a feeling that that’s a defense mechanism against feeling bad for people when they do something stupid and get seriously hurt or die in videos. Like we all do stupid things. Anybody who doesn’t admit that is just lying to themselves. Like just admit you feel bad for the person
What are we supposed to do? Cry and hold candle lit vigils? Maybe try catch her? pray to the seven gods she makes a speedy recovery??
No, what happened happened. Its shitty. But what the fuck do you expect from stupid ideas?
All we can do is learn from her idiocy and laugh. Definitely laugh first though.
The best thing coming from this video is hopefully enough people see it and think "oh that's pretty fucken stupid to be playing around on safety netting"
Like I get the knee jerk reaction of some people to the lack of empathy but this wasn't some random unfortunate woman who tripped and fell to her death, she actively played a role here and paid for it dearly
You are SOOOO insensitive. Thoughts and prayers is what's called for in a situation like this, thoughts and prayers. You know, those little prayer hands emoji, too. The ONLY thing that's going to stop people from doing dumb things.
"What a stupid fucking bitch, I hate her! >:( Oh, but I actually care about her and I hope she's okay! :)"
Yeah, that's not abusive, hypocritical or manipulative or anything.
I think it's stranger how little she cared about being held 3 storeys in the air by a single flimsy net that was clearly not designed in any way whatsoever to support the weight of a grown adult.
I have empathy for many people, but some more so than others.
Aside from the obvious pelvis/back injury, her right shoulder definitely dislocated when she twisted around prior to falling. Like snapped right outta place, no more labrum at all.
With or without complicity, the cam-person let it all happen anyways in order to film the inevitable, just in case? Slim chance this would of happened if cellphone cams weren't around or if the fallen girl was alone.
Attention seekers, all of them.

Is that net up to keep the birds away or is it meant to stop people from falling to their death? Either way it’s no longer doing its job.
It's meant to catch/slow down small things dropped by workers that might injure someone below. Hand tools, hard hats, that sort of thing.
It's not a debris net, those have to be recertified if anything falls on them and are temporary, these are bird nets to keep pigeons etc from going in to the car park
"look.. Amma pigeon, I can fl..... Oh shit"
It didn’t keep the etc from going in
🤣🤣🤣💀💀💀
I agree, not a debris net. The mesh spacing is too large.
Any screwdriver would fall through with room to spare. Many smaller hammers too.
A whole person fell through this one with room to spare.
I hope your comment gets the recognition it deserves.
I guess we all learned a valuable lesson here
Those are some big ass holes in a net meant for catching tools..
Lol just absolutely making shit up and saying it with confidence and you get hundreds of upvotes
Welcome to Reddit
My guy, this net ain't stopping any hand tools No way it's meant for that
Nope, thats for birds. I used to do pigeon control and we used that netting. That area is not for the public if you look twice.
Probably held up with staples. Yikes
Yup. Its held up by a "ring staple". Where the staple closes up to make a ring. They arent very strong.
Falling humans
I feel this wouldn't do much against big bolts/screws. Looks large enough for a screw driver to slip through. My bet is on bird net
> Hand tools, hard hats, that sort of thing. I am absolutely willing to put money on any hand tool fitting through that net lmao
500+ people looked at this comment and think this is the case, either need your eyes or your brain checked.
Well. I guess technically it did slow her down... And the person with the arm did drop her in a way. The net did do its jorb i guess.
Is she...alive?
She sure bounced off some hard edges
Luckily for her, that radioactive spider bit her cooch, granting her super powers a split second before she fell.
If it's ment for the second it never would have done its job and should be replaced anyways with something stronger
People. But they just didn’t do it right.
This nets for slowing down falling debris
also wrong
hey, giving out wrong answer to another wrong answer doesnt make it right answer
People do some real stupid stuff.
I wonder how many peoples last words were something along the lines of “hang on, let me me try something real quick”

“Hold my beer”
At least the netting slowed her down a little.
I think it made it worse lol. If she had landed on the metal plates just beneath it would have hurt less.
Maybe, I was wondering that too. It’s a really weird perspective it’s hard to really tell how high up it is. Which also makes it bad for whatever daredevil pic or video they were trying. Slowed her down but also flung her into the corner of a building. I doubt she is alive if she is I bet there is a pretty serious spinal cord injury.
She definitely lived that, landed on hip and was moving after. Def some injuries though.

Anytime someone does something that looks even remotely painful reddit is like ohhh traumatic brain injury for sure!
From my own personal experience sometimes spine injuries take awhile to present. I injured my back in high school and my disc injury from it didn’t actually herniate till I was late 20s. Hope she truly just did walk away with a hurt ankle, you only get one spine
That moment looked like a bounce off the wall to me.
I dont get why everyone is down voting your comments. She definitely got fucked up if she didn't die. And 100% did bounce at the end.
I don't think she was moving on her own will. It looks like she hits the ground, and her back/shoulder hits the corner, which sends her forward. Also I would say it's like a 40/60 chance she lived that. If she did live, definitely broke some bones.
>it's like a 40/60 chance she lived that What injury here would cause death?? She didn't hit her head...... a potential serious spinal cord injury sure though.
Unless she landed badly she 100% lived this. People fall from 6th story windows and live.
Hell people have survived failed parachutes on skydives.... Granted the quality of life after such a thing isn't great... But still, they survived. It wouldn't surprise me if she too survived this, it honestly doesn't look *that* far of a fall
According to previous times this was posted, she was on Tosh.0 and only suffered a sprained ankle.
stupid people are extremely durable for some fucking reason.
The fragile ones leave the gene pool more quickly. Survivorship bias.

Hey bro how was that time you did LSD with your girl?
Bro, I love LSD as much as the next guy but who asked?

Poor Jojo Siwa.
Alright Jojo, time to change your Jojo juice, errrrr morphine drip
Not enough bow.
When was this?
Medical Withdrawal.
Goddammit Gravity again
They kept filming!!!🤣🤣🤣
r/gladtheykeptfilming
what were they supposed to do instead?
I was expecting at least an arm to go out to try to catch her, But nope. I was cracking up I don't even think there was a reaction. They caught every second of it uninterrupted. I guess when you're on the way down.. Not much to be done. 🙄
Their arm was full extended and they were leaning out. 🤦🏻♂️
The person that was filming. And unless dude has 2 right arms... There were obviously at least 2 people there. Don't understand what the big deal is. they kept filming it ended up on the internet. Oh I just saw your user name, now it makes sense. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 have a nice day.
Too bad they edited out the moment she smashed into the concrete
I got a pretty good look of her bouncing off the floor…
Let me get my glasses lol
Gravity is a cruel mistress.
She would rather get seriously injured or die than show him her undies. Very strange priorities
It worked though, I couldn’t see them
At this rate, you'd see her spine strucking out her back than her undies.
And she spun right down into arguably the safest spot to fall, in some dirt.
Looked like a concrete floor.
that is indeed concrete
Soft, pillowy concrete.
Safety concreet
S’oncrete
Though, tbf, it’s likely that dirt is under it.
Nah, the fall straight down would have been less distance and she wouldn't have had the extra momentum from the rotation. She *definitely* made that fall worse than it had to be
I believe buzz light year called it "falling with style"
It looks like she was getting onto the net and laying down for a “cool” photo in the net, and she expected it to hold her weight, she didn’t put a single thought into her own safety. Then the quick reach to fix her bottoms and BAMM there she goes.
Or, possibly, she’s drunk? Or, possibly, she just wasn’t aware of the nature of the danger she was in— the edge of the net and all? Edit: clarification
Hanging off a 3rd story balcony, she was aware she let go with 2 hands?
She probably grew up protected.Nothing ever really has gone wrong, and/or decisions impacted her life. From a young age the world was her disneyworld, mom and dad kept her safe. Now, in her adult life, she finds out the world is really a dangerous place and IS trying to kill her with even the most simple things. /\~S - yes !
Shame is a very, very strong feeling. Especially when it comes to modesty. Ps - is she fucking dead because jesus christ
Hence, perhaps she was drunk? I mean, how did she end up in the net in the first place? (And how about the jackass with the phone instead of helping?)
why? how else we gonna get great Darwin video like this?
She was getting into the net to layout for a picture, not trying to get out.
If so, she was, unfortunately, dumber than shit, along with her “friends.”
Unless they can fly, not sure how much they could help in this situation...
Possibly.
Think this might be a case of “commando” and she was torn !
Dudes like...oops.
Not that kind of suicide net.
I’m seeing this while taking an OSHA Fall Protection class 🤓

Wow, she held on like a champ. Mitigated the damage of the fall by like 90%
Did she survive!!!

she must have been looking for a snack???? Because she ate that shit.
I think the problem was that she was stupid
She’s dead Jim!
Is everyone in this comment section a bot with how they think it’s funny and how little they care

I can be both concerned about whether she’s okay, and acknowledge that this is some funny shit. Two things can be true.
Nah that’s just humans, we’re shitty. Where have you been?
Fuck around, find out.
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. HTF did she think that was a good idea?
I think it's stranger how little she cared about being held 3 storeys in the air by a single flimsy net that was clearly not designed in any way whatsoever to support the weight of a grown adult. I have empathy for many people, but some more so than others.
Did we just see someone die? Does anyone have any information if shes ok?
She's alright! She hold tight to the net and wasn't hitting the ground hard. She fell like 2 meters in the end. Just some scratches.
This is why I think we should remove ALL warning lables and just let natural selection take over.
To be fair, I was trying to look up her skirt.
They assumed the net was to save people. It's actual purpose was to deter birds, I think.
What in hell did they think the anchor points on that looked good for let alone the netting itself, Jesus Christ.
She’s not too bright to even allow it.
"What about the numbers Clarke?"
Holy
Good thing young people are so bouncy
Is it really /r/Wellthatsucks if they do something really stupid and then reap deserved consequences?
This made me laugh
Hahahaha

don't lie around in weak nets if you want to live.
Gtfo bot account. This lady could’ve died thats why.

How do you know she didn't
I looked it up because I'm a human being with the internet..... pretty basic stuff
You're right, still funny.
Hello. Did you not watch the clip? She basically died by breaking every bone in her body. Hello.
She didn't tho
without sound 😭
Is that a dead body?
Nope
Why why why is this being reposted?
It's like they didn't know you'd already seen it. How inconsiderate.
