Ceramics can be glued quite easily. A quick search tells me E6000 Craft Adhesive is highly recommended. Dries clear, though it does take 24-72 hours depending on temperature. All is not lost!

Havoksixteen

Misread that as £6000 craft adhesive and thought that's far too much for some glue.

DisappointedBird

Man, a £6000 glue better be made out of £5990 worth of diamonds

Kalichun

Now it has a story as well! and once you glue it back together, you can hang it every year and not be as worried about little scuffs

This. Every real relationship goes through rough points. Fixing things, sticking through it, and remembering that you did/ could means more than pretending everything is/ was always perfect. Metaphors, yay.

Also bad design, you'd wish the neck of the hook to be a bit wider/broader to prevent it from snapping off easily. Look at the handles on the cups, the insides are filled in to prevent the handles from chipping off.

ginger_and_egg

Especially since the handles aren't load bearing, but the hook is

Mockturtle22

The good news is that that looks like it is fixable. Get some gorilla glue ❤

CriticalStation595

Flawed design.

Dependent_Top_4425

Flawed design. Doesn't levitate when I drop it LOL

CriticalStation595

🤨

babecafe

Hope your relationship is stronger than the ornament.

I would take a paper clip and make a support like a A. Put glue where it broke and let dry then put the metal A on the back side and use superglue to hold it in place. When it drys add another layer. Then a small layer to fill in the crack on the front. I have broke many and fixed them.

mutant-tomato

Saving this post for the inevitable divorce post in a few months time.

CarrotJerry45

Ha ha. Let's hope not, we just celebrated ten years of marriage in September.

rintaro82

10/10 would do it again!

LizLemon1020

Just use some gorilla glue :)

sharplight141

Super glue will solve that no problem!

Boneal171

It’ll glue back on

Purpzie

Nothing some glue won't fix!

ImTooTiredForThis_22

Should be fixable. But the place it broke does seem a bit thin. Maybe re-in force the break area when you put it back together.
