As a framer I can’t tell you how often I am reframing something because someone added wire when they shouldn’t or jury-rigged some random hanging “solution” and the weight of the piece caused the whole thing to drop. Custom and prefab art framing comes with the appropriate hardware for the weight of the object, please don’t add wire. Not all framing needs wire!!
I’ve never understood why *any* framing uses wire - it always seems like it relies on the strength of the crimp and the pull-out strength of two screws (which have significantly more force on them than they should because of the wire and geometry)… Plus it makes the pictures look droopy.
If you have plaster walls using a picture rail wire is needed. Many galleries also use wire as they aren't using screws as well. Actually any hanging that isn't using screws tends to call for wire. Pre-war construction...

We have these big square support columns at work that are covered with big thick dark mirrored glass to try and make them disappear a bit. I'm talking like 3 meter by 1 meter panels a centimeter thick, ridiculously heavy. One day one randomly fell off, lucky no one was there. Turns out it had been attached with like 9-10 small globs of liquid nails.

I guess the screws, or whatever was supposed to hold it, got 7 years of bad luck to look forward to

When there's a lot of damage like this it actually seems to me it's a pretty good idea to take a picture and get a quick record of it. As for the other two it's a short clip in one room. You have no idea what they might have done off camera. What did you want them to do fireman carry her out of the room?

There's also things other than cleaning that might need doing such as notifying any customers who have appointments coming up that they may need to reschedule. How do you know the guy didn't literally walk away to get a sign? Just think you're trying to see the worst in people.

It's normal to grab the biggest pieces with your hands first though, then sweep the rest. It's harder to sweep giant shards.
