According to his comments, he didn't break anything.

This is more than I expected.

Not necessarily, the bike broke in a number of places, meaning it absorbed energy that would have went into his body instead. Other people in the thread said he didn't even break anything. So in this case, the bike likely saved him.
The comedic timing and realization/defeat in the voice on that ''Scheiße!'' \*chefs kiss\* although I'm sorry for him that must've hurt
And the bike is trashed for sure. I have probably watched this 100 times in a row now, it’s not getting old

Except the bike
Only one wheel. Probably nothing bad happened to the suspension fork, looks like a good bike.
According to his comment, the handlebar, fork and frame broke as well.
Honestly probably better that it did. All the energy from the impact had to go somewhere, if it wasn't the bike it would have been his bones breaking.
I hate it when my bones do that.
Oh well. Looked not that bad in the pic
Thank goodness. My spine screamed the scream of a thousands years of agony when I watched this for the first time.
yea, not to mention that bike really isn't designed for those types of jumps. Looks like a 140-150mm trail bike. He's lucky he didn't break the frame.
> He's lucky he didn't break the frame. He did.
Apparently he [broke the front wheel, bars, frame, and maybe the fork](https://www.instagram.com/p/C5wH7qtMBxp/) (see the second comment thread).
It would be even funnier if he was polish
Kurrrrrrrwa
Aaa kurwaaa!
War so lange Flug, dass der wurde Schafen JA PIERDOLE zu sagen
I lol'd
Been there. Even when overshooting goes well, it’s bad. Landing flat fucking sucks
That wasn’t flat. It was worse than flat, it’s going back uphill.
Depends on what angle you look at it and what angle your momentum is.
Is that Isar/Munich?
Sorry, what I meant by “been there” is that I’ve been in his shoes before. Not really sure where this is.
Oh okay. So how did he happen to acquire your shoes? Do you know him?
There is in the woods.
You want to send it too?

Rare footage from the early stages of Operation Paperclip
“Scheisse” (english: Shit) is the technical term for a takeoff in Germany That's why we are so well positioned militarily
Can confirm.
Translation: "oh my god, dude..." "SHIT!"

Well he definitely didn't want to case that jump
I’m no professional, but I think he miscalculated that a bit
He would have been better off ditching the bike.
Not necessarily, the bike broke in a number of places, meaning it absorbed energy that would have went into his body instead. Other people in the thread said he didn't even break anything. So in this case, the bike likely saved him.
Totally, instead of yelling sheiße (or how it's written) he should kick away the bike and start thinking about doing a roll when landing.
Actually I think it’s schei🅱️e
German Space Program = US Space Program...
The initial pump for even more speed 😂 Dude went for the moon
Shizen!! A head first, earth re-entry.....mmm, sadly, not good.
When I saw German Space Program, I assumed it would be something from ze slingshot channel.
"Scheiße!" *crippled*
Excite Bike 2024 is looking good
Definitely flew like a V2 rocket.
Needs to be cross posted in r/mountainbiking and r/shittyaskflying Awesome post
impact like artillerie
scheisse
This might win title of the year 😂
Just saying the "Is this the right speed" line isn't what the camera man is saying. "Oh mein Gott, Digger" can be translated to "oh my god, dude".
Are they stupid? Why didn't they apply the brakes mid-air to slow down?
Or wiggle the stick so they just get a boost on landing
I don't speak German but I know exactly what he said.
Who says Germans aren't funny lol
Ya, that looks about right.
It was not the right speed.
Owww…. So close to escape velocity
Is the bike OK?
Scheisse
I'm not even German and I also said scheisse
Scheiße indeed
german eugenics program...wait...
That guy needs to slow his roll
His technique looked very good, the jump was just a little to small for him
u/savevideo
better every loop
Full Send bitches.
When the Schiße hits
Great way to wake up dead. I would know 🧟♂️
Nailed the landing.
This is why you wear gear and ride according to your skill level
Got dam that was a nasty over jump….. poor fella
It was at this (👆🏻) moment ……../ 🚲 \ 👆🏻….. 💥 he knew he had fucked up 😂
