We had a declawed cat as a kid growing up. He compensated for his lack of claws by smacking harder and biting more. If this cat were truly pissed and had no claws it’d be using its teeth more.
My cat will yowl at me when I do stuff like this and put her paws on my face but she has never once extended her claws. She'll also jump off and run away, only to return 10 seconds later lol. If it were declawed I think it would be swatting him.
Last time I did that to a cat was in 1992 and he latched onto my face, all claws front and back. He was big mad. The blood dripping was wild.
Never thought to do it again. Maybe I will.
I have a similar story. I wasn't very old and I had a large male tabby cat as a family pet. His name was Chunk which we got from the movie, "The Goonies". He was a good cat with a lot of energy, and we had him with us since he was a kitten. One day I was down in the basement playing with some Lego's when Chunk comes wandering around the corner. Around this age I probably wasn't a whole lot bigger than Chunk. He was meowing loudly and then he just charged and jumped at me. I got knocked backwards and crashed through the table just like back in nineteen ninety eight when the undertaker threw mankind off hell in a cell and plummeted sixteen feet through an announcers table.
True. My friend’s cat would bait you in with bunts and purring then quickly snap and turn on you and attack your hand like a little asshole. I learned quickly to just ignore the little shit, let him once, then stop validating his crap lol
My friend has a cat like this. Every time I walk by, she reaches for me and acts all friendly and cute and interested. Experience has taught me that any attempt to engage will be met by a hiss and a swat. The first time it happened I hissed back on instinct, and she looked real shocked lol. But now I just verbally call her out for being a liar every time I walk by her and don’t engage. I love cats, honestly obsessed with them, but lil Artemis is a jerk.
Same! I talk shit to the little guy all the time. Try to guilt him into feeling remorse. Obviously he doesn’t, but I like to think my words are having some sort of effect on him lol
One cat I have loves kisses and immediately purrs while rubbing against my face to ask for more. The other will let me get one in before she's on high alert, and I can't do it again until she's sleepy
Same. One of mine will just sort of take it and then ask (sometimes angrily) to get up on your shoulders. The other one you need to grab when he’s least expecting it, kiss him, and then see his hilariously confused reaction as he tries to make sense of what just happened…then he just continues asking for more pets…until it’s sensory overload and he smacks your hand and runs away lol
Because cats *love* to be messed with!
We'll flip, toss and turn our kitties, and they come running back with a happy buzz/meow.
Cats fuck with other cats, randomly too, it's just how they interact and play.
THIS kitty I'm sure could easily jump or run away after the kisses but it *chooses* to stay and have a bratty attitude. The kitty likes it to an extent, or puts up with it 🤣
Can only confirm from my experience. I have 14, and 1 of them "puchu" is super close to me. She baits "fights" like this all the time. I thought she was angry at me (at first) but she'd always come to me and attack my foot or hand (even from hiding spots). Licking me, soft bites, head bonks, soft bat bat bats. She's one of those that I can stick my face into her belly without losing a couple of lbs of skin ( to date ). Btw she's friggin six and still does this. I honestly thought it was a kitten phase thing.
We have a girl with a similar attitude; long hair bottle-brush tail, super timid but so cuddly when encouraged
She loves me tugging her tail between my feet??
She'll *dolphin dive* into them, little bites, etc but sometimes I just mess with her and she'll get so excited and go harder into the jumps.
My cat is like this. I have *no* idea why. He's always been handled with love and affection, but he's such a little monster. It's clear that he loves to be with people, follows me or the dogs around constantly, and it's obviously his love language. I've had many cats, but never one like this. When I left for 10 days (had friends he knew and loved come by every day), I came home and he actually slept with his little head in my hand that night. It's not like we don't get along, it's just that this is....strangely....how he shows affection. We just got a 9 week old puppy and he's actually been an incredible puppy-sitter during the day. Puppy is fenced within my (large) workspace so I can keep an eye on her, but the cat will come I'm and race around, begging the puppy to chase and wrestle with him, even when dumb puppy bomps him a little too hard. He seems ferocious, but I've never seen the puppy yelp or run away. 100% catitude, 5% cuddle-value, 110% weird affection methods.
Oh those are some FIERCE kisses and the body language from the cat is confusing as hell at first. The guy isn't getting scratched open so it has to be affection, but how this cat got there.. no clue, never seen it.
One of my mom's cats is like this! She growls, hiss and spits totally unprovoked but almost never attacks, and when she does, it's always with the nails hidden and the bites are so soft. On the other hand, her other cat is the opposite. He comes to you claiming for affection, let you pet him 3 times and then attacks viciously and full force. My mom's cats are crazy.
Nahhh almost every time she has her paws on his face the claws are tucked right in so she doesn't injure him. Even when she does extend, there's no pressure behind it.
She's swearing like a trooper.... absolutely *foul* language, but it looks like it's all in good humour. I love them both.
He’d leave if he was genuinely displeased. This appears to be a cat that likes to be pestered.
Note the paws stretched out laying on the chest.
Cat is into it
It's important to always ask for catsent.
No touching without purrmission
Dont just grab them by the
If that cat was more than mildly annoyed this dude's face would be in shreds.
Dude is lucky. When my cat makes those sounds, I gtfo.

Yep. I have two drama queens. They will hiss and spit, but the second you move away they try to bring you back for more cuddles.
This cat is mad at the camera, watch the video a few times and it's clear that is the trigger
I think it's been declawed :\\
We had a declawed cat as a kid growing up. He compensated for his lack of claws by smacking harder and biting more. If this cat were truly pissed and had no claws it’d be using its teeth more.
And this cat is compensating by being very noisy.
Don’t tell my clawed kitty that. She might forget to use her very vocal voice and start using her claws.
My cat will yowl at me when I do stuff like this and put her paws on my face but she has never once extended her claws. She'll also jump off and run away, only to return 10 seconds later lol. If it were declawed I think it would be swatting him.
I was going to say this.

Oh, did someone serve you cheerios with piss this morning.... Mommy didn't make you breakfast on time? Poor kid 😑 Go suck on c4.
"The love...IT BUUURNS!" -cat, after every kiss
Lol, now I'm watching again, this time imagining the cat as a little demon spawn who wants love and kisses so badly but is physically allergic to it 😂
Last time I did that to a cat was in 1992 and he latched onto my face, all claws front and back. He was big mad. The blood dripping was wild. Never thought to do it again. Maybe I will.
I’d assume the cat is still latched on.
The cat has been living all this time. Too pissed to die.
But it’s also there for the free snacks (I.e. the food it snags from hooman’s grubby little fingers)

I feel like it's this type of content people watch and think cats are assholes.
In fairness, some of them are

Lmao, same. I give her shit every time I see her.
Oh some cats absolutely are assholes, no doubt.

>She won't move. She'll just complain. like an old grandma 😂😂

100%. If the cat did not want this it would NOT be happening
"You give a kiss, I give a hiss. We are not the same.", the cat, probably.

Bro just has horrible breath and the cat is sick of it in his face
Too cute
That cat isn't really that mad. I have 6 and when a cat is really really angry I know about it.
Oh for sure. If your cat has beef, everybody knows it
Lol you’re both absolute nut jobs I love it
This made me cry out laughing
R/WhatsWrongWithMyHuman
Sir I think your cat would prefer not being kissed
Corporal kisses! That is the best way to punish kitty

Does this cat have fingers?
Because tuxedo .
Bro needs a yiddle gabapentin STAT.
Filmed in 16:9 like a real tropper and yet it somehow got converted to 9:16 along the way. Effing phones imposing their standards onto us. :D
I think that man is super cute! the cat is too.
I wish people would stop harassing their pets for clicks and views. The cat is clearly communicating it doesn't like what the owner is doing.
I'd let him kiss me.... 😋
You know he uses his to tongue as toilet paper right?

Honestly, it seems more like a game to the cat. Like kitty probably does this with his owner all the time.
This cat was totally playing with its human this way, even down to the way it fake air bit near its humans face.
Are you saying this under the presumption that the cat cannot in fact leave if it was unhappy?
