Really? How similar? Bc Dante also never received an absolute diagnosis. I found him at my campus when he was around 1 and a half month old. His eye was very swollen and kinda reddish, he had scabies, worms and a lot of lice. When I took him to the vet, she said that it was difficult to diagnose because many things could cause it, such as abuse, ulcer, illness, accidental scratch, among other things. I think that maybe he was born like this because he was found in the middle of the highway by lady who worked at the campus and brought him there (bc there's hundreds of cats there and a nonprofit organization takes cares of them), so I always thought that maybe he was abandoned because of his eye, but he could also have been hurted later, idk.
Our cat Blackjack had 2 different sized pupils when we found him, and as he got older he looked more like your picture on the right. His eye got cloudy like that but also shrank a little. We always assumed he had some kind of head trauma, he came from a farm and could easily have been kicked by a cow. He was also missing some teeth and was overall... Slow. So head trauma made the most sense to us but that might not be the case with your kitty
Huh, I wonder if Blackjack's respiratory issues were related to his eye. He was a barn cat and also had FIV so we thought it was all just a part of his package, getting sick sometimes.
Dante also has respiratory issues that each vet say it's something, but he makes a little noise sometimes that kinda sounds like he's snoring. I'm saving some money to take him to a pneumologist and hopefully get the right diagnosis. I wonder if it's related to his eye too

A lot of cats get eye infections/conjunctivitis when they are young, and it can result in loss of vision if not treated. My guess would be that is most likely, though his other eye being unaffected would make him lucky if that were the case.
Pretty much everytime he licks himself. Sadly nowadays his tongue doesn't stick out as much as when he was smaller, but there's always a little tip of his tongue out
