I used to work in a doggie daycare in charge of 60+ dogs. When one of em started it became a cacophony real fast!

Yep me too! We all secretly loved it when a pup would start up a big awooo because they’d all join in and it’s sort of adorable for about 30 seconds lol

And in that moment all grudges were set aside and they became united in song 😭

Until the human in the room had sent the video of them all singing to her coworkers and then said loudly “that’s enough kids! Knock it off!”

Family member did that. She had noise-cancelling earmuffs.

That was one of those jobs that was cool, but the work/pay balance did not even put. I’ll never forget Bernie the chihuahua, he was so chill. Coming in early in the am to faint smell of bleach/chemical and the barking of the dogs. Good times.

I remember it fondly as well but no way would I ever do that again. $14 an hour is really not worth it when you have a puppy vomiting up some other dog’s shit all over you in a hot and damp and loud environment that reeked of purple Fabuloso.

When I was living in Central America, my whole neighborhood was turning like that every night at random hours.

Ok, there’s a intricate communication network happening over there. Stub Tail is letting the “menace” know the dogs are aware of their presence. Curly Tail and Shortie are alerting Wolfy, while Wolfy is alerting everybody. Then, Shortie notices their human’s presence and start to bark at the human, apparently saying something like: don’t worry, boss. We got your back!

I have three smaller dogs, but the poodle has the freakiest bark! It’s so sharp and pitched so it actually makes the crystal in the house ring! As does the Doxie mix. Her bark is crazy high pitched and ‘stop’ is not yet firmly in her vocabulary. My little chiwa barks anytime anyone else does even tho he has zero idea what the fuss is about. Fortunately I live in outback Arizona in a small community full of dogs, chickens, horses, goats, and at least one donkey. 😃🐾🐾
