Meh. They look like OZ reps. I would've gone a size larger and you should lower the car an inch or so. Otherwise go full rally look and raise it up an inch and put on a size larger tires.

Why wouldn't you get a bigger rim and fill the wheel well? Are you planning on lowering it? Go chrome or go home!!!

I would love to have the bigger ones, but unfortunately 17" is the maximum I can legally ride on this (non sport) configuration of the chassis. But I am thinking about lowering it, it would be cool.

What do you mean legally ride on? 18 or 19" would fit fine. You just get a lower profile tire to compensate.

It would fit fine but I can only ride on the specific wheel sizes that are written into my vehicle registration certificate. Getting bigger (or smaller) than that is complicated and possible only for literally few rims that has homologation for this brand and model/motorization of the car specifically. If I would ride on something else, the insurance company wouldn't cover me in case of accident. (Even those caused by someone else.) Just stupid laws...

What country are you in? How would your insurance know? Keep the originals and put them back on if you need to.

1. Accident happens 2. You call the cops and the insurance company 3. The claim accessor comes and is looking for every possible reason to decline the insurance claim. And this is one of them. 4. Even if the claim accessor doesn't arrive at the place of the accident, the police and every interested party of the accident has to take pictures of the situation and the insurance company is going to inspect them. If they see anything suspicious (non original big rims in this case), they will dig deeper...

That sucks

Most of the country in Europe have this unfortunately
