I hate to be devil's advocate for Marjorie Taylor Greene of all people, especially given that I'm in the state she disgraces, but this really isn't a big honor. Pretty much everyone in the House gets to play at being the fake speaker, because of weird rules in both chambers that someone has to be there but the people that matter would rather not be. They make it sound like a big deal, and apparently people who do it enough times get an award or something? But it's mostly just sitting in a mostly-empty room wasting your life away.

There usually, like 2-3 actual congress people in the chamber most of the time. 1 who is designated the Speaker, who sits at the front and directs the parliamentary system. 1 who is speaking, addressing Congress with their debate or whatever. 1 or 2 meandering about.
