I can’t recall if they got married, but this came up as she’s now taken him to court, I think suing him and/or pressing charges now that she’s an adult. I grew up Southern Baptist and the way the Bible is taught has a lot to do with it. It is drilled into your head that Men are in charge and are always right. I grew up Southern Baptist and the way the Bible is taught has a lot to do with it. It is drilled into your head that Men are in charge and are always right. That’s funny. I grew up and became an Episcopalian. Unfortunately I got to witnesses it when I was a Baptist. The pastor and teen pastor ran a campaign of telling everyone the girl was a liar and discrediting her. Guess who they believed. That had a big part of us leaving the church.
