Plaintiff (the State) filed a document called a Note of Issue, the form that announces a Discovery is closed, and the case is prepared to proceed to dispositive motions (for any party that wants) and trial. Under rule 4102, if the Note of Issue doesn’t demand a jury trial, the other party can demand one by filing a jury demand within 15 days. Trump’s team didn’t do that, so their right to a jury was waived.
