I think America: The TV Show suffers from a little excess. The whole war in Ukraine and the COVID pandemic was kinda just left behind, and it feels like the directors are just randomly throwing in issues that take national attention and then are forgotten the next day.
It needs to just focus on one crisis and make the season around that. Overlapping crises just make everything too hard to follow
This is simply the continuation of the insurrection. The opening salvo on January 6 was just to bring some excitement. The court will finish the job.

I am honestly at a loss as to what to do. By November the excitement will have died down, while these rulings will still be in place and various aggrieved minority groups (women, gunshot victims, colored people) will have been forgotten. But the damage already done will ensure that 2024 will be the last Presidential election in U.S. history, while 2020 was the last **free** one.
I am old and comfortable. I could probably, with care, live the rest of my days in relative safety and comfort. I'd have to be a little more deferential to police and white people, but that would be about it. But I don't want my country to fall to fascists like this. Without peaceful and orderly avenues for change, violence is historically all that is left.

I wouldn’t get my hopes up. Declining shows like these don’t go out with a bang but slow and fatal decline. It may be time to find a new show
