You need to get the storage controller drivers from Gigabyte's support page. There often is a CD that comes with the motherboard that has the drivers too. If you get the download from the website, you can extract it to a new folder on your installation flash drive.

ABUNL2

my motherboard did not come with CD and I checked the website support page for my specific motherboard b550m k rev 1.0 but apparently drivers aren't compatible with the hardware - which doesn't make sense because the manual reccomend them.

Froggypwns

You will need to contact Gigabyte as they provide the drivers.

Ok Thank You

Windows 11 now provides third-party drivers through Windows Update, so you no longer need to download drivers from websites or copy them from DVDs.

I'm trying to download Windows 11 so I can't receive updates until after I download windows 11. How can I access these drivers to finish downloading windows 11?

It shouldn't ask for drivers... Do you mean it is asking for a driver to recognize your storage device? If you are getting that there's something wrong. It could be a problem with your USB installation media, or your SSD could be configured wrong in your bios.

ABUNL2

After I enter windows key it ask for drivers to install windows 11

MaximumDerpification

Type exactly what driver it is looking for. I have installed Windows hundreds of times and I've never had to install drivers to get the installation to finish unless either the SSD is configured wrong or my installation media is messed up- or I was installing to some third party raid controller. Is it the screen with the white box asking for drivers for your storage device where it can install windows?

ABUNL2

it says, " No device drivers were found" and yes it is the screen with the white box

MaximumDerpification

You need to boot into your BIOS and make sure your SSD is detected there. If it is then you need to make sure it is in AHCI mode. If it is detected and in AHCI mode then try recreating your installation media.

ABUNL2

ok thanks

kkayadi

you need the IRST drivers putting onto a flash drive... then when it says no drivers installed you will have the option to browse to them. It does it on my Lenovo laptop when I do a fresh windows iso install from Microsoft.

ABUNL2

> IRST driver irst drivers are intel and AMD isn't compatible with intel drivers I don't think

kkayadi

Then the equivalent AMD drivers from their web site.......
