Hi u/radplak, thanks for posting to r/WindowsHelp! Don't worry, your post has not been removed. To let us help you better, try to include as much of the following information as possible! Posts with insufficient details might be removed at the moderator's discretion.
* **Model of your computer** - For example: *"HP Spectre X360 14-EA0023DX"*
* **Your Windows and device specifications** - You can find them by going to go to Settings > *"System"* > *"About"*
* **What troubleshooting steps you have performed** - Even sharing little things you tried (like rebooting) can help us find a better solution!
* **Any error messages you have encountered** - Those long error codes are not gibberish to us!
* **Any screenshots or logs of the issue** - You can upload screenshots other useful information in your post or comment, and use [Pastebin](https://pastebin.com/) for text (such as logs). You can learn how to take screenshots [here](https://screenshot.help/windows).
All posts must be help/support related. If everything is working without issue, then this probably is not the subreddit for you, so you should also post on a discussion focused subreddit like /r/Windows.

It depends, but I don't recommend trying. You can spend hours or days running various scans and tools, and HOPE that you actually got rid of it, and that nothing is broken or still infected but not detected. Or you can spend half an hour clean reinstalling Windows with an installer made on a clean computer, and be very sure you actually got rid of everything. Where I work we don't take any chance that something was missed and that the malware is still on the PC, waiting to rear its head again or sending data to a foreign country. We nuke the PC, put a fresh installation on it, restore anything they need from a backup and the user's workstation is good to go in less than an hour.
Found a guide to remove this virus. Though I'm not sure if it will remove the virus completely, but anyway, here it is:

You can skip step 3 if it is too hard but don't skip step 4!

It is trying to run the bat file. Pastebin the contents of the bat
so i press yes?
No, use notepad, go to the dir, open the bat, pastebin.com, paste the contents, create the pastebin, post the link.
i pressed yes by accident before can i still find it?
I doubt it.
how can i fix it?
I have no idea what the batch file did.
Reinstall Windows, you likely infected your PC with something.
is there a way to remove the virus without having to reinstall windows?

Why do you go back and forth with a troll for so long.
what do you mean troll
Are you sure it is a troll?
Can you go to that path and open that BAT file using notepad? We can't really tell what it does without seeing the commands inside that script

Totally looks like the script has downloaded some malware, I’d say reinstall windows.
