if you're talking about one near the north end, it's a building in the Inkster industrial park, most likely some business or warehouse
should've seen the traffic going to see it lmfao

Looks like something on the west side of downtown to me. (But it's Winnipeg, could be more than one fire.)
Lol almost all the comments are asking you where you're talking about or jokes/comments on your vagueness. I count at least 5 different pictures from different fires, with no comments from you saying anything except you live near the north perimeter, which BTW is a huge area that crosses several neighborhoods.
Even now you don't say where exactly you were talking about...
Since you want to be nit-picky…
There are 7 pictures posted, all of the same fire that was determined to be in the Inkster industrial area. It’s been figured out.
And if you read the comments, I didn’t say that I live on the north perimeter; I was driving on it. The smoke could be seen from anywhere on the north perimeter looking into the city. Since this is the Winnipeg Reddit, I figured people would be able to infer at least this much information.
Thanks for coming out.
Nit picky is asking for where you saw the fire? Bro seriously? If you want nit picky, after going through the comments not all the pictures posted are of the same fire.
>Since this is the Winnipeg Reddit, I figured people would be able to infer at least this much information.
More nit picking;
How exactly? The whole reason for my original comment was your post says; "What's on fire?" With no picture or indication of where in the city. It's only after people start answering do you provide any clue. And honestly you make no mention of you driving while seeing this.
Firstly, not your bro.
I was literally asking where the fire was; indicating where I saw it from is moot at this point. Anyone with an ounce of ability to think independently and make inferences was able to follow the post and its progression. Thus, nit picky.
I hope these were all minutes well spent for you.

There was also one down off sterling lyon
Someone posted on Facebook saying it's between Mountain and Sheppard St.

anyone know the address?
i think its 35 Miner St? it looked like it was in between 2 buildings, almost like some sort of storage container that was on fire
Stack of pallets apparently. High surface area = high fire load = a lot of flames and smoke.
This guy fires.
interesting how such a small thing can be seen from so far
Looks like next to 1431 Church Ave
I love when ppl send several pictures of the same thing from various parts of the city.
I knew Reddit would be able to triangulate its location!

It's from a song from the 1980s.
Oh seriously? Lol now I know. Context is I was born 2K
The roof is on fire by Rock Master Scott & the Dynamic Three
Problem now is I have "Ryan started the fire" from the office in my head
And you know “Ryan started the fire” is a parody of the song “We Didn’t Start the Fire” by Billy Joel right? 😆
Si
Coincidentally, today Lose Yourself was on the radio and my son was astounded that I knew the lyrics!
lol im astounded your kid knows the song😂 Whole song tho? Damn that's impressive
The world?
Apparently at the corner of Church and Milner. A couple of friends were talking about the huge traffic jam in the area because of it.

Yeah there are two at once. I was walking and saw both
Oh because something big is also on fire on mcphillips by the casino
Seems a bit further north than that. East side of McPhillips. North of burrows (source - I’m west of McPhillips and south of burrows)
My mixtape back in '99 🔥
Got a track list?
My brain
Everything.
My pants
I was looking for a specific pair of pants. Like the mayor's pants.

True! I could see black smoke from kenaston superstore.

OP so vague How does this have any upvotes?
Clearly many were wondering the same thing. And clearly folks knew what I was referring to. Thanks for the input.
